Wide variety of teas, including pu-er tea! You can have tea here, to go, or buy it loose-leaf!

Small little shop off a side street in New Paltz, worth the 30 second detour off the Main Street. You can purchase made to order tea or loose leaf tea here. They have dairy free milk options and many local options. They have seasonal drinks including ingredients from local vendors (local spices apple cider). No seating options available, but great to grab and walk around town.

Shop front with two tables on the lawn and cute plants.

New Paltz local here! I am so excited to have this place in the village. They have locally roasted coffee (a quick chat with the owners made it clear that they know their coffee), local pastries, and an AMAZING selection of loose-leaf tea and bulk spices. LOCATION: It's a 2 min walk to Church Street and Main Street shops and restaurants, and a 5 min walk to Water Street Market. The vibe is welcoming, clean, bright, and modern. They also have outdoor seating and high quality speakers by the to door to play music, which is very nice because the shop is located on a main road. EXPERIENCE: I got their sparkling iced tea (spicy hibiscus) which was AMAZING, and something I've never had before. I will be getting one of these at least twice a week. The owners are super nice and really knowledgeable! They were happy to talk to me and make recommendations based on my preferences. I can't wait to go again and buy some tea.

Adorable addition to New Paltz! the owners are incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their teas! Theyre always happy to make recommendations and allow you to smell and try different products. it's clear they're passionate about what they do, and I'm grateful for classes they offer like this workshop on green tea! They really make the most of that small space and have quite the selection!

Words that best describe my visit to the ridge tea & spice shop: delightful, serene, honeyed, & refreshing...Besides the brief analysis paralysis I experienced when ordering given the vast array of options (so many scrumptious looking teas, speciality beverages, espresso, and baked items to choose from) I absolutely adored the brief time I spent in this spot. The staff were so knowledgeable, kind and hospitable and my iced tea and cookie were delicious. If you're passing through New Paltz, do yourself a favor and stop by! :-)

A tiny shop that serves good coffee, when the town is still asleep. Guess the kids are all in the class -:) Thank you.

Average. I'm not sure why they have the spices... it's a little odd of a setup. Service was fine. Tea was just okay.

As an alumni returning for a weekend visit, I was initially disheartened to discover that my beloved local Thai house, Lemongrass, had closed its doors. However, fate had a delicious surprise in store for me and my friends as we stumbled upon Bangkok Cafe, only to realize it was under the same management as Lemongrass! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in the comforting aroma of authentic Thai spices and the welcoming ambiance of familiar faces. Each dish we ordered transported me back to my school days, with every bite reminiscent of the culinary magic I had come to cherish at Lemongrass. While every dish we sampled was incredible, the Pad See Ew stole the show! I love Thai food and have been to many amazing restaurants but this pad see ew will always be #1. The noodles are perfect in every aspect - size, shape, and texture. What truly sets Bangkok Cafe apart is not just the outstanding food, but also the affordability without compromising on quality. In a world where good food often comes with a hefty price tag, Bangkok Cafe remains a beacon of accessible excellence. The service is also always top notch. Everyone is so friendly and the food comes out quick! Needless to say, Bangkok Cafe has effortlessly claimed the title of my favorite Thai restaurant, a position it will undoubtedly hold for many years to come.

Cocktail mixers bottled in glass, made with real sugar and quality juice catch your eye. An array of sauces, pasta, teas, dairy, dressings and fresh desserts to choose from. Now that we're living in The Catskills, my quest to find that similar market prototype I grew to love in Westchester, continues. I had forgotten hubs and I came here before during one of our bi-annual trips to The Catskills. Recently though, when I searched for produce markets near work in Highland, Wallkill View in New Paltz popped up within a short driving distance. As you drive past all of New Paltz bustling shops and restaurants on Main St, you'll soon approach a sleepy farmland area overlooking Mohonk Preserve in about 5 or so minutes. I've been hard-pressed to find a market that tops my favorite one in Westchester and checks all the boxes. Wallkill View grows and sells a nice mix of produce the area has to offer. And when veggies and fruit aren't grown on-site or in season, they're sourced from elsewhere. Unlike other farm markets that operate only Sat+Sun, Wallkill V. is open everyday. Well...almost. These folks shut down for Christmas and throughout the winter- reopening in March. Prices are about $1 more than what I paid down in White Plains- but hey... I get it. Service is great though.
