I really wanted to like this place since it's super convenient, but as other customers have stated, the coffee lacked taste. There was one barista working and I just felt like I was annoying her by coming here. They don't open till 8, which seemed late for a coffee shop and it didn't feel ready upon opening. There is no seating inside or out to enjoy the cup of coffee. It seemed more like a gallery that served coffee. read more

Consistently pleasant service inside the warm and wonderful Big Rock Market. The coffee is perfection, just what you would hope for. The service is always literally, "with a smile". I like to do a bit of shopping in Big Rock (Chaseholm cheese, all kinds of breads, frozen, locally made entrees, organic eggs,etc.), then circle back for my coffee and sit on Big Rock's front porch in a rocker for a half hour with the newspaper. Incredible matcha latte! Stopped in here on Valentine's Day for a pick me up as we drove from CT to Lake George. I love matcha but not everyone knows how to make it properly. While it wasn't on the menu, the woman behind the counter mentioned they had it. When I inquired if it was bitter or not, she reassured me that it wasn't and that she felt it was a nice balance of sweet but not too sweet. Sold! I ordered it hot with oat milk and it did not disappoint! Wished I'd gotten two. Not only was the matcha exceptional, but service was quick and friendly and the artist of the beautiful masterpieces hung around the establishment was present, warm, and welcoming. Two days ago I stopped here. Ordered a cortado which was good. The staff person was not friendly at all. Another customer came in as I got my cortado and smallest croissant ever which was not fresh or flaky as a croissant should be. I then looked for sugar and a stirrer but there was no fixing station. All the fixings were behind the counter. I proceeded to ask in a nice good mannered way for sugar and a stirrer and the staff person seemed annoyed, handed me the sugar and a long used spoon that baristas sometimes use when pouring out milk and waited for me to hand it back. If I could rate this place I would say, rich coffee 5 stars, service 0 stars, croissant 1/4 star. This is a "to go" place, so no where to sit and enjoy that cup. The coffee station for customers- zero stars as it's non-existent. All this for over $8 !! Worst issue? The employee When a business is in the hospitality business, the business should present itself with just that and it doesn't take much to be nice, to be warm. I always am nice to everyone and I'm simply in the "humanity" business called living and loving. read more

Stopped in Rhinebeck for lunch on the way back home from a weekend in the Catskills and naturally needed some caffeine to get us through the car ride. Que All that Java which was a short walk from where our car was parked. Although the coffee shop was tucked behind the building and took a little bit of exploring to find, I'm glad we eventually persevered. The shop was super modern - lots of white and awesome graphic designs/art around made by the owner. There was one staff member working, and she was so nice and friendly also. She was able to help answer any questions we had on the menu (i.e. about the Frappienza) and was patient with me when I just couldn't decide between a cappuccino or an iced coffee. Cute store friendly people, & delicious coffee - it's what coffee stops are made of. read more

I traveled 4 hours and needed a nice cup of chai. They use Oregon Chai which normally would cause me to pause and move on but I opted for a decaf almond milk latte. The coffee lacked flavor. Great little coffee shop! Small menu selection, which means "quality over quantity". This place happens to be tucked away in a small shared parking lot. Offers outdoor seating next to the small shop. Which is nice when you want to sit down and relax with a few friends over a cup of coffee (the way it should be, instead of running off in a rush). Seen that they what appears to be gift cards perhaps? I didn't get a chance to inquire on the small sign they had posted in the window about "setting up an 'account with them'", but I'm certain the next time we drive past and stop I will be certain to inquire. The overall experience was very pleasant, the price point for our two coffees was well within reason. Under $8 for a basic small iced coffee and a medium cafe americano both with almond milk is actually isn't bad when you compare it to more larger coffee house chains (like a Starbucks). What my wife and I both agreed upon that was great was that they allowed you to pour your own almond milk into your drink, unlike some other places that would just add what they felt was "acceptable" or "standard" for the size drink ordered. Also the barista offered a free extra espresso shot for my americano since it was extra and didn't want to see it thrown out (which I graciously accepted; who wants to waste good coffee anyhow?) If would be hard to miss seeing that on the way towards it's location they do have small lawn signs in the road side that advertises about what they offer (latte, cappuccino, coffee) and also described the building (a small black trapezoid shape). So if you happen to be driving past and are looking for a great cup of coffee, I highly recommend stopping, grabbing a cup and checking out this small gem of a coffee shop! read more

(And trust me, I've had manyyy iced lattes from many different places) I haven't had a chance to try anything else but I'm sure everything is just as great The staff is fantastic! Imagine my surprise... walking in the bright sunshine. And there, in the midst of a parking lot outside of a saddle shop in Rhinebeck New York is the most sublime, exquisite, and intoxicating gourmet coffee shack I've ever come across. I step up to a closed window, it slides open, and there standing before me is the radiant mother of three Samantha, who offers many unexpected and pleasurable coffe options. I chose the small iced latte, and upon my first sip angels actually sang in my head. OK enough with the fun stuff! All that Java is a terrific find. If you're in Rhinebeck, or anywhere near, find this place, walk up to it, order whatever you like, and it will be the coffee experience you won't soon forget. The beans are custom roasted outside of Seattle, and while Bread Alone alone uses Irving Farm coffee - which is excellent, this little coffee shack is better, and worth the trip. Go for it, and like me you'll probably be dreaming of your next visit! read more
