Peanut Butter Cold Brew with Oat milk

My ORDER : Coffee Cake and Peanut Butter Cold Brew Nestled in the small IMPACTFUL TOWN of Beacon, NY; I stopped by this tiny comfortable coffee spot to charge my phone and wait for my "taxi service" to head home. Within seconds of me walking in I was greeted with the one of a kind aesthetic at Bank Square Coffeehouse. It a small cozy corner spot with a large variety of pastry's and the big highlight (coffee beverages). I did a quick Google search because I needed a spot to charge my phone and this establishment has plenty of outlets. Everything and everyone seemed to be flowing naturally and the staff are definitely respectful and professional. 0 complaints, I will most definitely come back to this busy one if a kind established (with two rooms and plenty of seating areas)... again. Please support the locals!

    Beautiful artwork by local artists.

I can't eat the food (various items eaten with your coffee) due to diabetes, but I love their fresh brew coffee in the Winter and fresh brewed iced tea in the Summer. Lots of room to work on your laptop and to meet up with friends. The ambience is very homey, and I feel like the honored guest in someone's home. The people at the cash register/serving area are always nice, pleasant and knowledgeable, always ready to answer your questions and make suggestions. I have returned many times, and never was I disappointed!

Lovely coffee to stop by, the ambiance was easy going; great music and the decor makes it feel warm and cozy. Order a frozen chai latte, it was creamy and did not disappoint. Service was okay, they took our order and the baristas were polite.

You ever just play an Autumn Cafe Playlist on YouTube? Well, this is it. First place I entered at Beacon, NY and you are met with the fresh smell of ground coffee beans. I'm not a coffee drinker so I got myself a hot apple cider. The people who work here are also so kind and the service was fast. What really makes this place different is their live band! The homey, cozy, and serene feeling you get just from sitting there listening to them is indescribable. It's just so peaceful as you sip on your hot drink. There are couches, tables and stained glass art from a local artist on the walls. This is a gem of a place and a must-visit! COZIEST PLACE EVER!

Really nice spot! Food/Drink: Mostly small Pattie's, and packages snacks. Dinning Area: Rather large cozy, couch, high top tables, bar stools, and chairs. Prices: Relatively expensive, but regular for a coffee shop. Large black Iced tea and medium iced chai tea latte $10. Parking: Right off Main Street, no parking except a few street spots. Bathrooms: Bathroom was clean. 1 small unisex. Coffee: I didn't try it this time. Atmosphere: Typical coffee house, beatnik, bougie, chill and tranquil. Staff/Attendants: Staff was Great, the guy at the front cashier/barista was nice, and respectful. Quick process done in a flash. Nice experience! 7/10

When in Beacon, listen to the locals. There are plenty of good Java options but go ahead, get in line, the locals know best. As most places post Covid, it's a bit understaffed but with very reasonable prices, amble selection of brews and huge indoor and outdoor dining, it's kinda worth the wait.

The owners should be properly training their staff. It's not fair to put someone behind the counter who is unprepared.

There's a reason why Bank Sq. in Beacon, NY exists: lounge and sip on your hot beverage. And if you're looking to pitch up for the day and get some serious work done, you might be in luck. Though I'd ask about regulations first before you claim your nook, bar stool or table- on how long you can hang around because of COVID. After having a dull tasting Tex Mex meal right across the street, we wanted to snuggle up with something hot. Think rustic brick walls (some are painted over, some are not), mismatched leather sofa chairs, wooden coffee tables and comfy corners everywhere you look. Overhead menu lists a truck load of coffees, a Chai, two different Hot Cocoas, etc with a tray filled with Vegan and regular packaged pastries on the counter. My kid liked the Vegan Chocolate-Black Bean bar and wished she had another. But it was the "Ritual" in their Ritual Hot Cocoa that caught my attention made with 60% cocoa. My daughter got hers with Almond milk, I decided on regular and hubs liked his decaf cappuccino. Service was good and I can most definitely see myself coming back and curling up with another 'Ritual' hot cocoa. The only thing missing were the logs crackling in the fireplace.

Came here for first time after a walk on some trails. It's such a cute cafe. It's spacious with much seating inside and outside. Love the station where you can toast your own bagels there smoothies are tasty and so are their treats. You can also purchase some candles, shirts, travelers mugs etc. the sofas are comfy and I enjoyed just sitting eating my bagel and relaxing. Staff were super friendly. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. It's definitely a place that will get packed.

I stopped briefly for coffee and a croissant on my way to Storm King. This is a pretty cozy cafe that is at the edge of Main Street, so it's perfect for people that need nourishment leaving or coming from Beacon. There's was a relatively short line on an early Saturday morning. Service was quick, and staff was kind. The coffee and croissant were pretty good. All in all, this is a cute coffee shop with tasty provisions, and would recommend giving it a try!

A small coffee shop at the end of the main street in Beacon. Servers are typically aloof, not terribly friendly, but the coffees are good, as are the smoothies. Lots of great seating in the second room, and some in the main room as well.

Why does it have to be such a filthy dump? If you're not clean, you're not cool. And the baked goods are terrible.

Sadly, the coffee was cold and did not taste very good. Bizarre for a cool coffee spot in a fun downtown.

I also bought a few rolls and a couple of pieces of Borracho, which were also good. Then I asked for a Pineapple Upside down cake that was in the case. All total it came to about $70,00. This was on Friday morning, June 19th. I came home, put the cake and the cookies in the refrigerator because I was going to take it to my brother's house the next day. The next day Saturday the 20th, I took a box of the cookies and the Pineapple cake to my brothers. I took the cake out of the box. Not only was it stale, but when my sister-in-law cut the cake, underside was covered in BLACK MOLD! Imagine my embarrassment for bringing stale moldy cake to give to brother and his family! I was thinking about going back with the cake and asking for a refund. But for the $10.00 I paid for it, it's not worth the aggravation. But that's the first and last time I go to Torino's. Apparently, they'll leave shit in the case to go stale and moldy and sell it to some sucker who walks into the place and buys it. That's no way to do business and maybe the health department should take a look at what's going on at Torino's bakery.
