Street parking only! There are two parking lots nearby one for the bank and one for another business so be careful not to park there or you could get towed! Anyways the parking aside this shop is so cute! You feel like you are walking into one of those hallmark movie shops. Everything looks amazing and smells delicious, I had the BEC, SEC, and pastries. It was all made fresh and had great flavor. I bought some chicken pot pie that has to be reheated in the oven for lunch later today and I'm sure that will be great too as the crust looks golden and perfect. Even the owner was in the back making other items as the front worker exclaimed "Bert I'm going to need more bacon". I will definitely be going back!

Yummy!!! This was such a great find! I had a really large, yummy breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, & sausage. There were so many other delicious options! Muffins looked good! There were cookies too, but I just had to resist! I did indulge in a huge pretzel for later ( which was soo good too!)

Homemade pretzels were amazing. You can tell they were fresh. We also got their Italian seeded bread which was delicious.

Now Bert's Hideout. A redesigned cute little gem. Delicious focaccia bread pizza! We stopped in for lunch and drinks- yes- they serve lunch and beer & wine now. Format has changed, hours have changed. They open at noon. Staff is extremely friendly, service is great. Lots of pastries and breads to enjoy there or to go. There is seating outside on quiet Robinson street. Reminds me of a European bistro. We'll be back to enjoy a coffee and pastry al fresco! No

This is a cute little gem right off of Mainstreet Fishkill. Their breads are always fresh and delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are on point. The place is small and quaint. Perfect for exactly what they seem to be going for. Don't miss out on the Irish soda bread and the Prosciutto bread. Get there early as stock seems to run out fast. Will be a returning customer often!

As I drove by the plaza, I figured someone here had to have food. It came down to a deli or takeout, and deli always wins. I walked in and immediately knew I made the right call. Counters filled with breads, sweets, bagels, and fresh food, and the smells in the air matched exactly what was in front of me. That's always a good sign. There was a menu posted with plenty to choose from. I went with the Black Forest sandwich and also grabbed three giant linzer tart hearts and an apple crumb horn. Price-wise, it felt right for what I got, and I'm always happy to support a local spot. The Black Forest was exactly what I needed on a winter afternoon. I ordered it as a hero and could only finish half. It was stuffed with hot turkey and melted Muenster cheese, and the bread had a great crunch while still keeping a nice chew. The Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw made every bite satisfying. It was definitely a wet sandwich with sauce dripping, and honestly, I loved that. I was excited for every bite. The apple crumb horn was delicious and a must-grab if you're there. It's like an apple pie but lighter and airier, with sweet, slightly crisp apples throughout. 5/5 stars. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area.

For the longest time, I've been wanting to have a notable experience here, and on my trip inside…read morelater-night on Christmas Day, I had my chance and now I'm writing it. It all started as I came from dropping an Uber rider off in Rock Tavern and felt I needed to stop off here for a treat from a good night and needed something to drink as well. I came inside and found the place spotless. The shelves were well stocked and the floors were clean - it's almost as if it's well-taken-care-of. I found what I wanted (Kit Kat Big Kat bar) plus the F'real shake, however, not until later did I learn that the candy bar was a tweaked bit different than I'm used to, but I managed. After putting on a lid (not the correct lid with the F'real insignia) and using the wrong straw, I headed to the register just behind me. I was the only person at 10:50 pm, and despite not noticing the employee waiting for someone to ring up, I patiently waited until out of the corner of my eye they headed over. I paid in cash - something I don't generally do often - and even used my SpeedyRewards card that night, but after the employee noticed my mistakes - wrong lid and straw - she even gave me advice on using the colored straws here for the shake and I thank her for her honesty. I sometimes get F'reals so I should have known, but I wasn't in the best mindset and both lids (sitting near each other) looked identical and I couldn't find the colored straws until she handed me the colored straw. I commend her for her efforts - thank you. (I just wish I would have gotten the receipt, but I got the correct change, and it's logged in my SpeedyRewards account, so no damage there.) Now I just wish there'd be more action here. When I come here (which I don't do very often since I know of other stations along my route), I can sometimes be spotted getting gas, but even then, up until the end and I was about ready to leave, the gas pumps were solidly empty. (This is out of the ordinary, as on other times about half the pumps are full of others pumping gas.) Just as I was about ready to pull away from the spot near the door, another car pulled up beside me. But be careful. This station has two entrances (one directly from Route 9, and another ENTRANCE from the side road: Snook Rd), but the Route 9 location has an exit as well. I generally take Snook Rd in, but that's up to your travel path with your choice. Uber has told me in the past to take Snook Rd for quickness, but I generally knew their entrance from Route 9 well before Uber was in the area, and coming from I-84's exit onto Route 9, felt it quicker to just cross over onto Snook to get here. No trouble connecting here. Signage is almost non-existant as to gas prices at the pump : something I've come to feel I need before making an informed decision whether or not to come here. Good deals come with bennies at GasBuddy, but I guess I'll have to hold off any further. Christmas Day 2019 will never be forgotten here. Thank you for being there.
