Such a cute little cafe that you are able to eat in or take out…read more The menu has a great menu for various diets. There seems to be something for everyone. We ordered thereat and butter board that came with different types of breads and butters. Omg?! The brioche bread was so fluffy and dense. The grained bread was also delicious. I didn't taste the sourdough but I am sure it was incredible. The MAPLE BUTTER was perfect. It had the perfect amount of maple that was not overpowering - very well balanced. The everything but the bagel butter was also really good. The salted was a great classic. I also ordered the BLTA which was divine. The bacon had a hot honey coated which was such a nice touch. It came with seasoned fries which I normally don't love but I enjoyed them. We got orange juice that was clearly straight from the orange! Someone at the table to get a side of sausage patties which you can tell were hand made and they were not too salty! The only con was that we had to ask to order because it was taking a long time. Overall, I would go back and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Beacon!

There was definitely a bit of a wait, but we could tell the staff was trying to turn tables as quick as they could. The ambiance is good. The tables in the booths are a bit large so you do feel a little far from the person you're dining with.

All fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Fresh cones and hot waffles? Sign me UP! Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a Beacon stroll and I'm so happy we found this gem and got to try them! The dark chocolate ice cream has my heart! Vegan and gluten free options available as well. Their concept is shcoops for all: anyone and everyone should be able to have ice cream! So they've made nut free, celiac safe, gf, v and even pup cups! With their pull up window, it's so easy to order, especially if you have a dog! Love this place, the people that work here, the story and the shcoops! Can't wait to be back with my pup.

I sampled a couple of flavors Mango and Strawberry and my pick was Strawberry followed by Mango , as it was more sweeter compared to the Mango which was a bit more tangy . We also tried a few other flavors like chocolate with sprinkles and Honey comb . Honey comb turned out being the most popular among our group. Their single scoops are small but you can get a large triple scoop too. They have an ATM inside the Food Hall for those who need it. Cute cozy dessert joint !

Bert is the baker and chef and he knows his craft. I got a fruit cake ( very moist and rum filled ) and a gingerbread house and both were phenomenal. From what I saw spying at patrons plates the breakfast and lunch food look delicious and everyone seemed very satisfied with what they had. The menu is somewhat seasonal it seems. For example , I've heard Bert does a good chicken pot pie but not during the holidays bc he concentrates on foods for that time of year. Remember that this is a mom and pop kinda place. Only one person in front and Bert in the back so don't expect fast service. But that is why you should come here to rub elbows with the locals and just enjoy life and good food.

I ordered the egg/cheese/bacon Croissant ( they do offer other breads) it was finger licking good, yummy croissant. My two friends ate the Quiche with much delight. Bert the owner will welcome you with a great smile.
