This review is for the bakery side of the business: We ordered pastries and cakes as well as their well known raisin pumpernickel loaves. The food is delicious. Service here is always friendly ( and patient, because the decisions are difficult with so many choices). I love the old school style of the bakery where you can see the products being produced. Cohen's is an oasis in rural New York for the "city slicker" in us.

One of my favorite places to come for brunch when in town. The waitstaff is always so kind and the food never disappoints.

Since I was in the area visiting wanted to try here, I do agree parking for here does suck, but lucky enough it was a slow day so the street was empty. I pretty good selection of baked goods and I was deciding on what to get, I did feel a little rushed in making a decision, but once more customers came in, that went away from them. I will give them credit putting old stuff in sale like the tiramisu cake slices which I got and was really good, definitely recommend. Now the gingerbread cookies, nah those were pretty abyssal, dry and honestly would been flatter if they dry, plus the flavor was very muted. The rainbow cookies, were amazing, very chocolatey and love the raspberry and almond flavors, plus very soft and moist. Would have try the dining area for lunch and breakfast menu stuff on another visit.

I wish I knew about the additional seating sand outdoor seating area, but we sat just off the bakery. The other areas would have been better. Our lunches: Chicken wrap with roasted red peppers, spinach, Italian dressing and side salad was good. Lemonade- delicious. Iced tea - perfect and I enjoyed my delicious Hot pastrami Reuben sandwich with coleslaw and Dill pickle. I saw they are famous for raisin pumpernickel bread so I bought a half loaf and tried it a few hours later with butter.... Very interesting and good!

I regret not taking better photos, but at least I got a quick shot of the delightful cake. It was all absurdly good. I can't get over how fluffy the frosting is and how perfect the cookie textures are. The woman working was also really nice and, despite it being the end of the day, I didn't feel at all rushed or like she just wanted to close up. Here's how much we loved it: My husband and I went there yesterday while on a weekend trip. Today, we had to get back home fast to beat the snowstorm, and we seriously considered just risking it and driving out of our way to go back here. We didn't (safety first, etc) but we've decided to order our wedding cake from this place *and* our wedding favors. Seriously, everyone should go to this place. Everyone deserves this magic in their lives!

Wright's Farm in Gardiner is exactly that kind of place. Established in 1904, this beautiful family farm offers an incredible selection of fresh produce, delicious baked goods, homemade jams, honey, pickles, breads, plants, and so much more. I was especially impressed by their greenhouse operation, which includes both hydroponic and aquaponic growing systems. They grow fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and strawberries right on the property using innovative growing methods. The farm itself is beautiful, with apple and peach orchards, fields of wildflowers, and plenty of seasonal produce. There's also a great selection of perennial plants for anyone looking to add something new to their garden. And there's even a brewery right on the property, making Wright's Farm more than just a place to pick up groceries. It's a destination to explore, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley. From the incredible selection of locally produced foods to the beautiful landscape and innovative farming practices, Wright's Farm was definitely a highlight of our visit. Fresh food, local farms, beautiful scenery, and a true Hudson Valley experience. I'm looking forward to coming back.

At $4 they are totally worth it and good. It's less than what you pay at the grocery store for a slice and way better. Not as good as Cheesecake Factory but it's also not $15. The cheesecake is a little dense. Good but a little dense. Key thing is to let it sit out for at least 30 minutes before eating it. Avoid the brownies. Sure they try to entice you by putting attractive flavors in them but no. You know those little Debbie cosmic brownies. Take two of those and put a flavoring in the middle and that's what you got. Our second try we got some of the cake "slices". Again some good some stay away from. The lemon one was good. Nice light fluffy cake with good lemon flavoring. Just not sure about the fancy frosting on top. It's not really frosting. It's like whipped cream and frosting combined. Not bad just different and a little weird. Avoid the carrot cake. It's not carrot cake. Has no carrot cake flavor. They use cream cheese frosting in the middle which is good but then they put the weird frosting they do on top and it just doesn't work. The cookies were meh. Don't get the big ones those were not good and the regular size were meh.
