This place is a hidden gem of Italian authenticity. Love all the treats especially the Almond biscotti. Live in North Jersey and bakeries here are not as good when it comes to biscotti.

Delicious pastries and wonderful, kind service. My boyfriend and I visited twice while staying in Marlboro for a weekend. Cant wait to go back one day.

Horrible. I really wanted to love it. Cookies are dried out and over cooked. One tasted like burned grease. The place has had better days.

Upon first entering, the "shoppe" ( it gave off the vibe like I need to spell it that way) had ample seating, ample customer space,, good lighting for display, and was very clean. Apologies in advance...we forgot to stop eating and take pictures of the food. Suffice to say that whatever I describe next is worth the culinary experience. I ordered the Matcha Iced Tea (OMG ) with a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. I believe that even the bread was made on site. When it came out it was HUGE. I had to share it with my friend. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) My friend ordered a hot Dirty Chai ( ZERO COMPLAINTS). Our food order was taken and brought to us by very pleasant and professional staff. Thumbs up I will return, even if I have to make this be a weekend routine stop.

I found this close by and dropped in to see what they had. They make a good cappuccino, and I also got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Everything was pleasant, with fair prices. This was a nice discovery. There's a private parking lot in front which is convenient. I would recommend if you're in the area.

Bert is the baker and chef and he knows his craft. I got a fruit cake ( very moist and rum filled ) and a gingerbread house and both were phenomenal. From what I saw spying at patrons plates the breakfast and lunch food look delicious and everyone seemed very satisfied with what they had. The menu is somewhat seasonal it seems. For example , I've heard Bert does a good chicken pot pie but not during the holidays bc he concentrates on foods for that time of year. Remember that this is a mom and pop kinda place. Only one person in front and Bert in the back so don't expect fast service. But that is why you should come here to rub elbows with the locals and just enjoy life and good food.

Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. I think it was around $20 for my huge mum and I was going to buy some apple cider donuts, but when I saw they were charging $18 for 12 donuts I put the package back on the shelf.

Honestly best apple cider donuts I've ever had + freshly baked , not stale at all and very soft and fluffy (but you have to buy it in a dozen, you can't buy individual) Lots of apples to choose from ~5-8 kinds from evercrisp to snapdragon to gold rush. Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! There's was live music, plenty of apples and pumpkins to pick from, plenty of benches and seating indoors and outdoors for eating, and areas for children to play Dogs allowed! Service: friendly everywhere!! Price: cheap for entry, food is $$. You have to pay a $10 fee but it goes towards anything you buy. For apple cider & cider donuts I would say worth the price.
