Walking in it's a cute quaint little shop with ice cream, lots of baked goods, coffee, and breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a medium mocha with whole milk. Ordered a cake and cupcakes for a birthday party. The cake was dry and the frosting had no flavor. They didn't have a box for my cake so she had to use a large Amazon style cardboard box, jaggedly cut, with copious amount of tape, holding it together. Their design printer doesn't work properly, and the picture on the cake was missing red (anger from inside out was yellow). I knew this ahead of time, but chose to do it anyway. The cupcake's icing was disgusting, and the flavor was probably from the food dye; almost a chemical taste. There's no way there was sugar in them. The vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were cooked properly, but the red velvet was overcooked and dry. The owner just opened a store in midtown Manhattan, and it seems that this store is an afterthought to her. read more

Ordered the "go army beat navy" box for a small office party. It comes with 4 assorted flavors of cookies and cupcakes as well as 4 brownies. I tried a bit of each and was pleased with the flavors and textures of everything. The cupcakes were soft, moist and perfectly flavored. I even liked the vanilla frosting (I am not a big vanilla frosting girl). I tasted vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, both had vanilla frosting. The brownies were a little thinner than I am used to but still gooey in the middle. I tried 2 flavors of cookie - sugar and oreo - both which were excellent and so soft and gooey. The sugar cookie was the underdog here and probably my favorite. Would order from here again for their delicious desserts! Online ordering was easy and my order was ready and waiting on arrival. This bakery is legit. We got many baked goods to try, cookies, muffins, cupcakes. I can honestly say these were probably the best I've had. I'm serious, and I'm obsessed with Classic American style bakes. Like obsessed. And their bakes tucked every box for me, flavor, texture, sweetness. They could not be improved upon! The atmosphere was different when Alan owned the bakery. In addition to being quite messy, the bakery appears to be understaffed. One of the young employees was putting together meals on the front counter where they handle cash, and I felt uneasy since people were approaching and chatting over the food they were going to sell.I requested that the croissant be warmed due to how hard it was, but I was denied . I questioned if everything was fresh before I bought it, and they said that it was, but it was obviously not. The customer service was also not very amusing. read more

Very close to the main gate at West Point. I really appreciate that they make a service out of serving cadets and their families. It's great to see their Facebook posts of cadets receiving their boxes of goodies. The pictures of cadets are very fun. This visit we had prosciutto panini. I love this place! My so lives within walking distance and I love coming here every time I come up to visit. All of their pastries I've had so far have been delicious! The cannoli cheesecake has probably been my favorite so far. Super friendly couple and I love seeing them busy with other orders in the back. I decided to give this place a second shot after a year away. I immediately recalled why I never went back in the first place. If you want a comfortable study spot, this is not the place. Dead flies and spider webs throughout. For those of us who've managed within customer service, there's something off-putting about an owner or manager taking up an entire table to display a mess of papers while working. It was also odd to me that the man at the table was oblivious to the fact that a young lady was visibly busy in the kitchen. It took for me to reply to her greeting with "Thank you for acknowledging me- I'm in no rush" for him to finally get up and behind the counter to help her. If you want decent coffee at a fair price, this is not the place. I paid $4+ for a mediocre small coffee expecting something awesome, when I could have paid less for more (or at the very least, the same quality) at the DD across the street. The guy obviously had no idea how to make anything on the menu. If you want to pay by card without being required to pay $7 minimum, this is not the place: A) It's 2021. B) I'm not paying MORE when I'm already patronizing you. C) Your inflated $7 minimum sign is the size of a business card and hidden below eye level. At first I thought I was holding this place to too high of a standard. I figured a small mom and pop business would be humble enough to ensure their product and service go above and beyond, seeing as to how so many others have had to close. My sympathy was brief once I was sent down the street by the guy to search everywhere for an ATM. If I had been in a less forgiving mood, I would have left the arrogance and crappy drink behind for the DD across the street. I discussed my feelings and thoughts with colleagues at WP and they all unanimously agreed, stating that they prefer competitors in Cornwall or the big name chains. I say save your money and time by heading to some of the many more deserving cafes in the area. Sure, "It's just a coffee", but it's my money and I prefer to drink deliciousness while rewarding those who deserve it. read more

Went here for first time and had a tough time deciding on what to get for a friend coming over for coffee. Place was super clean & donuts were coming out of the oven...smelt amazing. Since scones are a favorite of mine, purchased the blueberry & the apple cinnamon. Both delicious and huge! Tasted good the next morning as well reheated in the oven. Owned by a USMA old grad ( hence helpful hours), this place has delightful pastries and wonderful sandwiches. They are a great pre game stop before USMA events AND deliver treats to cadets! I find the staff VERY helpful friendly, the treats are intense, flavorful and SUPER RICH. read more

This is the second year in a row that I have ordered baked goods to be delivered to my West Point son for his birthday. I cannot recommend these guys enough, they have the best customer service ever!
