I tried a bit of each and was pleased with the flavors and textures of everything. The cupcakes were soft, moist and perfectly flavored. I even liked the vanilla frosting (I am not a big vanilla frosting girl). I tasted vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, both had vanilla frosting. The brownies were a little thinner than I am used to but still gooey in the middle. I tried 2 flavors of cookie - sugar and oreo - both which were excellent and so soft and gooey. The sugar cookie was the underdog here and probably my favorite. Would order from here again for their delicious desserts! Online ordering was easy and my order was ready and waiting on arrival. Should have taken a pic, but the photos on their website are pretty accurate.

I was super excited to ask about the giant cookie when I was pointed to the last chocolate chip cookie still lying there waiting to be bought. I was a little disappointed by the size because it wasn't exactly how I imagine "giant" to be but it was a big cookie and I'm so glad I bought it. It is one of the best cookies I've ever had! Perfectly crispy on the outer edges with warm melty chocolate inside. It's been two weeks and I still think about it. We also tried their chocolate chip pecan scone and pumpkin spiced donut which were both pretty good but if I had to recommend one thing, it's that cookie. Next time I'm around the area, I want to try their other cookies!

It was rich, sweet, savory, and packed with real pieces of bacon such a unique and unforgettable combination and it had a spice to it as well what paired well with The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. I've been here a few times and will just add that the food isn't amazing and is typically slow to come out (not expecting that much given that the place is small and can get crowded). Today they had no real lunch items except for soup and a few pre-made sandwiches, all egg or breakfast items even after 11. I wouldn't order the avocado toast again; while the egg was made well, the avocado was spread pretty thinly and the toast very thin and ordinary. The chicken and Waffles with Sriracha maple syrup was pretty good and the gruyere, mushroom, spinach and egg sandwich as well. I think everything is fine, including the bakery, but nothing really stands out. $10 minimum for credit cards. They close on Mondays and Tuesdays. They don't have a big lot but do have overflow parking.

There's always something new to discover. While I was there planning to visit the Italian Art Gallery nearby, I came across Cold Spring Coffee House and saw that it had great reviews, so I figured it would be the perfect place to start my day. Getting there: If you're coming from NYC, the Metro-North is super convenient. The coffee house is an easy walk from the Cold Spring train station, which makes it a great stop when spending the day exploring the town. Inside, the coffee house isn't overly decorated, but it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of how close together some of the tables were, but it was quiet enough to sit. They also have a few tables out front if you'd rather enjoy your coffee while taking in the charming street. But the real showstopper here is the pastry selection! With such a beautiful display of pastries, who needs extra decorations? There were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with the Goat Cheese & Honey Danish and paired it with a medium coffee. Overall, I'm glad I added this stop to my Cold Spring adventure. I always enjoy spending time here, strolling through the town, popping into the different shops, and finding little spots like this along the way. It's a great place to grab a coffee and pastry before continuing to explore everything Cold Spring has to offer.
