The lady working here was so sweet and friendly and honestly I enjoyed her opinions on the baked goods and recommendations. Very rare to see someone enjoy their job. I have enjoyed the bread from LaLima for a while now. Excellent! To put this lame example of an Easter tradition out for our community to buy is shameful. It is in a small pie shell like a frozen Mrs. Pauls from the supermarket. Hopefully they will step up next year. They can make plenty of profit on a nice Pizza di Grano like we grew up with. Let me start on a positive note by saying the bread, muffins and croissants are delicious, but I'm frustrated with their unwritten policies. Last month, I ordered (over the phone) a few breads with butter and a few croissants, arrived about 20-25 minutes later and was told I didn't pick it up within 15 min so everything was put away. And I had to place a new order. Never was this 15 min rule explained over the phone or written on their website. Second, today I stopped by for some cold cuts around 3:05pm, waited about 10 min and was told they close the slicer 2 hours before closing. Where is this written? I will start my review with the positive. The bread is outstanding. Seven grain, semolina, chocolate. All great. They have this down to a science. The cookies are terrible. We have tried many of them in hopes we could find one we liked. The pine nut butter cookies needed toasted pine nuts, or vanilla, or salt. Flavorless. The regular pine nut cookies tasted like almond extract. The cannolis were also to much almond and to pasty. The cinnamon buns used to be awesome. Not any more. If you can't do a good job at cookies. Either don't make them or source them from a better bakery. read more

We're local and tried this bakery for the first time yesterday. We ordered cookies, eclairs and cinnamon rolls. Let's start with the cookies. Good texture, attractive appearance, but pricy and no flavor. Unless you count sugar. Eclairs, same song as the cookies. The creme patissier was screaming for some vanilla bean, or at least the vanilla extract and the ganche lacked oomf. Now, the worst. The cinnamon rolls. These were simply wrong. Under baked with places of raw dough and worse, huge chunks of uncooked sugar and no cinnamon flavor. Simply awful example of rookie baking that if your child did, you would praise the effort, but in a professional bakery at these prices is fairly unforgivable. read more

I literally just left this Bakery and I had to leave a review. The staff were super friendly and courteous. I literally wanted to buy one of everything. I bought an assortment of cookies and pastries and I also bought a large twisty sesame Italian bread, I'm almost positive that's not what it's called but that's what I bought LOL. Anyway, I got a couple of feet away from the Bakery and I've already eaten several cookies that I'm supposed to be bringing home and I have to say that this Bakery has to be one of the best I've ever eaten at, combine that with the experience and customer service that I got while I was there and you have yours a five-star bakery! I walked in to their bakery a few days before I needed the cake for my son's party. Randi was super helpful from the beginning. I couldn't find an image in her books to fit the theme of his party so she gave me her cell phone number and told me to send her one when I found one that I liked online. I sent her a few options and she gave her honest opinion, which is always appreciated. She did a wonderful job, sent me pictures of different font choices for the cake (which to me is going out of her way to do), called me when the cake was done and offered to send me pictures of the completed cake! Not only was it done well but it's exactly what I wanted and the best part of all it was delicious! Even the next day and the day after that! I attended the soft opening last week and I could Haley but to buy the olive bread cannoli, seeded itailen , plain itailen bread and prosciutto. While I was there I grabbed an espresso and by the time I finished it I realized that half of what I bought wasn't making it home. Not only was the food delicious, but the place it's self made me want to stay and hang out it was so beautiful.
