I wouldn't necessarily describe the food as traditional or fully authentic Greek cuisine. Instead, Kaia has its own signature style, with a modern interpretation and creative touches that make the dishes feel distinctive. A great spot for a relaxed dinner, wine, or cocktails in a stylish setting.

The only negative of the experience was that there were little fruit flies flying around the restaurant, but given how excellent both our food and service were, I didn't take anything off for those annoying little gnats. We were seated promptly and the vibes were really great since it was commencement weekend in Boston with several large parties celebrating the occasion. The passion martini was a great way to start the early evening dinner, followed by a dozen of their freshly-shucked oysters. We ordered a few other items: - Crispy Eggplant: definitely the highlight of the meal for us; the tempura-style fried eggplant slices with the creamy, tangy yogurt laced with something sweet (honey?), and then topped with cheese - Fattoush Salad: nice and bright, nothing too spectacular about this, but definitely a nice hit of freshness there - Beef Shish Kebab: the meat was well seasoned, although I would say the portion seemed small for the price. - Manakish: flavorful and hot, and was a great way to soak up any of the remaining sauce and dressing from the other dishes Overall, would definitely come back for the oysters and the eggplant as a light meal with drinks before a larger meal someplace else later in the evening.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars…read more Dalia is hands-down one of the best new restaurants in Boston. From the moment you walk in, the open wood-fired (technically charcoal-fired!) kitchen at the center of the room sets the tone. There are hanging vegetables and meats actively being smoked over the open flames. There's an energy here you just don't get at most places- watching the chefs work the live flame while you settle into your seat! It was like watching a curated show! The food is exceptional! Their menu is always changing and we had a little bit of everything. I definitely want to call out the guisantes a la brasa, the crispy patatas bravas, the hamburguesitas, and the tartar de vaca- the flavors and the cook on these apps was absolute perfection! (My mouth is watering just thinking about these!) We then moved into the charcoal-fired tapas- everything came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The paella was also a showstopper; clearly made with care and skill. The real highlight of the night was chef Quintin Pocher coming to our table to slice the ibérico ham tableside. He was so knowledgeable about it- walking us through how the acorn diet gives the ham its distinct earthiness- and it was absolutely magical to taste!! His passion for cooking came through in everything, from the care he put into presenting the ham to the way he lit up describing each dish on our table. The space itself is stunning- warm, textured, and transportive, with fireside seating that makes it perfect for a date night or a celebration with friends. Our server, Matthew, was amazing- attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, was able to recommend some wonderful wines, and made the whole experience feel effortless! Whether you're settling in for a long, lingering dinner (sobremesa done right) or grabbing tapas at the bar, Dalia delivers on every level- food, service, and atmosphere. Already planning my next visit. Highly recommend!

I came with a smaller party so I didn't get seated at one of the super aesthetic booth tables. I came for brunch and they were noticeably very busy. As sociable and and nice as my server was, he was also impossible to flag down as he ran all over the place. Now to the food: the hamburgers were really juicy and I was informed this was one of their most popular dishes, which was why the burger station was backed up when I went. I ordered one of the croquettes (the chicken one I believe) and they were solid but nothing noteworthy. I split the duck confur and waffles with macerated berries with my friend and we left stuffed. I think everything tasted solid but nothing was quite memorable to me. That being said, I'd still come back to try their dinner menu.

Friends and I were in Friday night at 8 pm (reservation) for dinner. This was my first time in (and…read moretheir second.) Our table was waiting for us, and the wait staff quickly brought us liquor and food menus. Even though the restaurant (and bar) were full, we could carry on conversations without having to raise our voices. It's a warm and inviting space. Drinks included a Hibiscus Margarita, a Fig Old Fashioned (my choice), and The Dada Spritz. Sampling amongst the four of us concluded these were fine starts to our evening. They came out quickly after we placed our drink order, too. Food included these items: - Garbanzos Fritos (best eaten with your hands rather than a utensil) - Patatas Bravas (delicious) - Cocoa (also delicious and new to me) - Rabo De Toro (I passed, but everyone else finished them off) - Empanadas De Veduras (filling on their own, and tasty) - Datiles Rellenos With Bacon, Crispy (amazing, and next time, we will order two) We were celebrating three birthdays, so we split one Carlota De Limon (easily enough for the four of us) Very positive experience from start to finish. One of us needed "Readers", and our waiter brought over a few, one of which worked for menu reading. A short walk from SOWA and well worth the trip!

To start off dinner, we ordered a pitcher of the HIBISCUS MARGS and this was very good, so good we almost got another pitcher but didn't because we figured we would be too full to finish a second pitcher. For food, we ordered the CROQUETAS DE JAMON, RABO DE TORO, CALAMARES FRITOS, and CHURROS. The rabo de toro was bland, croquetas were salty, and not only was the aioli for the calamari was awful but the calamari itself was not tender, but chewy. Overall, if we were to return, we probably would only come here for drinks.

Trade has a trendy, energetic atmosphere, with dim lighting and music that gave the space more of a lounge or club-like feel. We visited on a Tuesday night, and while the music wasn't a problem for me, it may be something to keep in mind if you prefer a quieter dining experience. Because we had a preset menu, I didn't get to try the whole roasted branzino I had originally planned to order. However, the lamb meatballs were outstanding, and the pan-seared chicken was absolutely delicious. The other entrées, including the short rib and vegetarian option, also looked excellent. Even the dessert exceeded my expectations, the chocolate mousse-style cake was rich, smooth, and delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Trade. The food was impressive, the atmosphere was fun and stylish, and I would definitely return, especially to try the branzino next time.

The space is absolutely stunning: high ceilings, dim lights, lots of natural colors and greenery. We got seated right away in this really cute table in the middle of the big dining room. Service was exceptional! I feel like our waiters went above and beyond to make the experience very special for us. They also really helped us with recommendations on how much to order for our table and what the best dishes to get were. For drinks we got a few bottles of white wine and I opted to get a lemonade which had cucumber and mint. It was so delicious and refreshing! We ended up getting an assortment of apps as well as mains for each person. I tried: - Dips and pita: assortment of 3 dips: spicy feta, tzaitziki, and fava dip. All were amazing but somehow the fava dip felt particularly good compared to others that I have had before. The pita came out warm and had a very nice flavor, like they toasted it lightly with a bit of olive oil. Super good to share! - Lamb meatballs: amazing! One of my favorite apps. The meatballs were tender without being crumbly, the lamb was flavorful without being gamey, and the tomato sauce added a perfect acidic/ sweet balance to the spices of the lamb. The touch of labneh on top also added a really delicate creamy balance. - Baked feta: literally amazing! The feta they use there is some of the best quality, creamiest feta I've had at a Greek restaurant. It was also not too salty. This came baked in a delicate layer of perfectly crispy phyllo, topped with a light drizzle of honey, roasted grapes, and olives. If I had known in advance how good this was, I may have actually asked for it as dessert. A table-wide favorite! - Caramelized carrots: another very solid dish. Perfectly caramelized carrots over a bed of dill yogurt. Really simple but good! - Eggplant salata: I'd probably skip this one next time. I was expecting a warm baked eggplant but this was cold and a bit difficult to eat since it came with the skin of the eggplant that was tough. The flavors were a bit flat but the presentation was definitely nice. - Whole branzino: usually comes with head and tail but we asked if we could have it deboned since we would be sharing between two. The two perfectly cooked fillets had a nice crispy skin and tender meat. The green herb dressing was perfectly tangy and complemented the mild white fish flavor very nicely, - Village salad: another hit for me! I'm usually not too impressed by "Greek" salads at places, however, they used such high quality product here, that it was impossible not to enjoy this. The feta was creamy and perfect, the peppers/tomatoes/cucumbers were so fresh, the olives and onions were not overpowering at all. It also came with a touch of capers which I have not seen before but really enjoyed. The olive oil they used felt 1A grade. Pretty filling and would recommend sharing. - Lamb chops: I stole a few bites from my husband's lamb chops which were perfectly cooked, tender, and had a generous amount of fat. The seasoning was amazing also though a bit salty for my taste. Not gamey at all! - Baklava: we thought this would be a traditional baklava but it was more like a reimagined baklava with some yogurt, pistachios, cranberry sauce, halva. While it has great textures, and nice healthy flavors, I think we were hoping for something a bit more traditional. Very big though so probably ideal if you have a larger group. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here! The ambiance was super cute and the food was good. This is a perfect place to have a big celebratory meal since the dishes are so shareable and the set up is sufficiently smart casual- formal without being over the top or stuffy. Would come back if I found myself in Boston! Definitely check them out if you have a chance. PS: forgot to photograph a few dishes but sharing what I have!

That may be the way they're supposed to be served here but I didn't like that part. The service was super friendly and the food was brought out quickly. I loved that the staff were all wearing Spain jerseys to celebrate the World Cup win! One last thing I didn't like: there's a QR code at your table to pay your bill on your phone which is convenient, but they tack on a sneaky $2 platform fee if you use it, and it takes some extra effort to have your server actually bring you the bill to avoid that. Two bucks isn't a big deal but it's the principle! I'd rather put that amount towards the tip.
