    Sangria
    Patricia R.

I visited Boston this weekend and walking around we found this Spanish restaurant. We ordered different plates like tomatoes salad, chickpeas and chorizo, mini burgers, bread with tomatoes. And the sangria was delicious. I love the ambience outside on the street. The weather was so nice. I definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Boston.

Very lovely cozy interior, nice for a date but can get pretty loud. Food is solid, I'm not sure how close it is to authentic Basque food. We got the bravas (of course), the braised beef cheek, and the squid ink risotto. The bravas were nothing memorable, the beef cheek was incredibly tender (falls apart to the touch), and the risotto was very creamy but delicious. Kind of resembled very upscale Mac & cheese to me. Overall, I would come back again and try a few other menu items, namely some of the seafood.

I really enjoyed Zurito! I had a late reservation on a Thursday night, and it was still packed. It took some time for our table to be ready, but the servers were very friendly and welcoming and made sure to take our drink orders as we were waiting. The space has two parts: one area that's more of a bar/bar tables vibe and another that is more sit-down tables. The food was delicious! We ordered some coppa and cheese, tortilla espanola, the patatas bravas, the gambas plantxa, and a chocolate mousse for dessert. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the flavors. I would love to come back and try more dishes! Overall, a fun tapas spot right in Beacon Hill with great food and nice service!

Walked in once a couple months ago when they first opened and wasn't able to get a table. This time I made a reservation for Sunday lunch. It was really quiet and the restaurant less than 30% seated. We were told to order 2-3 items per person and the pintxos are one piece per order and not meant to be shared. We got the spicy spreadable sausage and grilled chorizo. Then the shrimp and beef cheeks. And ended with the squid ink risotto and sliders. Highlight was the beef cheeks, it was so tender and flavorful and the scallion oil really complemented the dish. I didn't quite like the goat cheese in the risotto and the texture was too soft for me. The salsa usage and chorizo pintxos were fine.

First time visiting Zurito. Great atmosphere. We ordered a number of dishes including mini burgers, octopus, cuttlefish, beef cheek, mancheco & jamon, patatas bravas and the omelet, shishito peppers. The sizes of the app were small, surprisingly so. The prices were rather high for the amount of food. We (4 of us) ordered a pitcher of sangria - $56. I thought that was outrageous. The octopus had more potatoes than octopus and the cuttlefish was barely enough for one person to taste. The omelet was delicious but very small. The mini burgers & beef cheek were very good. Having said all that, we did enjoy ourselves. I don't know that we'll be back. With so many options in the area, I'd rather spend $350 somewhere else and leave feeling full

As soon as we entered for our reservation we had a beautiful window seat. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly - giving us great advice over what to choose and some of his personal favorites. I'm not exaggerating when I say every single item we had was incredible in its own way. Not one thing was sub par. It was perfect for a lunch and to try a bunch of small plates. Even the larger items at the bottom of the menu aren't too big but good to share if you want to order a few and mix and match, Ended the meal with the awesome basque cheesecake and just wow! Soooo impressed with this place and can't wait to come back.

I had a really excellent dinner here. Every plate was thoughtful and delicious. I got the potatoes, tortilla, squid ink orzo, mushrooms, peppers, burgers, and octopus. If I had to pick a favorite plate I'd go with the squid ink pasta! Tasted like an elevated Mac and cheese. My drink was delicious too- the winter cocktail. Overall great dinner, can't wait to come back for patio season. Hope they will restock their matchboxes by then!

Sat at the bar with 3 of us total and ordered drinks and a bunch of plates to share. I got the 50/cincuenta cocktail to start which was kinda like a savory martini and I LOVED it. The bartender explained each section of the menu so well to us so we know what was shareable and what was more individual servings. The pintios were like solo bites so we got 2 of those each and then we did 4 raciones which was a good amount of food for 3 of us to share. The bartender was really good at recommending not only his favorites but also the most commonly ordered items. Overall really cool spot and would definitely go again

LOVED this Spanish tapas spot!! We came in September on a sunny day so we got to sit on the patio, but I plan to come back soon and sit inside. The drinks, food, and service were all great. Loved all the dishes we got, but the chorizo was the star of the meal! It was so soft and flavorful and the perfect amount of spiciness.

Take me back to Spain. Zurito has a wide variety of tapas and mains. The cheesecake was good too. Excellent service too. We will return.

I love Zurito!! I've been a couple times and it has been such a great experience every time. The servers are knowledgeable and steer you in the right direction. They will also mark up your menu for any allergies which is a lifesaver. If you're going to go you HAVE to get the mushrooms!

Finally got to try Zurito and I must say it has instantly become a new favorite. For starters, the service was amazing, with staff being incredibly accommodating with reservations and organization of birthday features for my party whose birthday we were celebrating. The restaurant also has a lovely intimate and lively vibe -- my favorite!! We grabbed bar seats and our bartender was phenomenal! Her recommendations were great, and our cocktails were so unique and lovely (mine was the gin cocktail with a splash of red wine, which I LOVED!) We tried quite a few dishes, including the patatas bravas, the octopus, the croissant iberico, cana de cabra, pan con tomate, squid ink risotto, and the shishito peppers and all were quite good! I loved the quality of meats, cheeses, and breads! This is a great place for a night out and I can't wait to be back.

This place is so cute - in the middle of beacon hill it's such a gem in the neighborhood. We came here at 4pm right as they opened on Sunday and within 15 minutes it was packed. We got our food quick which was great I thought our food was delicious. Reasonably priced considering how much food we did get. The carrots cooked in brown butter and the Romesco sauce was DELICIOUS. The patatas bravas was also yummy - on par with Barcelona wine bar I also loved the pan con tomate - better than Barcelona in my opinion Def recommend the squid ink risotto and the octopus

This place was awesome!!!…read more If you are a Gen X'er, and love great cocktails, you will love this place! So we are from out of town; Texas, to be exact, and we were in Boston on vacation. We were looking for a place we could get some drinks and appetizers, and maybe watch some sports. A person in our group found this place online, so we gave it a try. We loved it! The 80s & 90s decor, as well as the 80s & 90s music they were playing made it an instant hit for our Gen X group. Every single song that was played was on my personal playlist, so we sang along and danced at our table to the tunes that took us back in time. There were some early 2000s songs played, too, but all songs played were songs we know and love. So needless to say, we loved the music!! Also, the drinks...oh my, the drinks. They were so, so good! Some in our group had the Adult Caprisun, including myself. It was so tasty, and served in an actual pouch, which brought me back to my 80s childhood. Another in our group ordered the Pink Flamingo which came with a little inflatable pink flamingo that you could take home with you. We noticed that the drinks were just perfect, too; not too strong with alcohol, and not watered down, either. The food was okay. It's bar food, so it's not going to knock your socks off or anything, but it hits the spot if you are drinking and hanging with friends. Our server was good. She was attentive to our needs and took good care of us. It was interesting to me that we, a group of age 50 somethings, were the oldest among the clientele, as everyone else was probably in their 20s or early 30s, but we didn't care. We had a great time! The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because someone in our group wanted to watch the Red Sox game, and apparently it was on Apple TV that night and the bar didn't have Apple TV.

In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.

But our table was in the main bar off to the side, so it was chaotic but fun. I do wish it was more private but it was still fun, just loud. Our waitress was really nice and did well with our large party. Their menu is mostly apps and smaller plates, so if you're looking more for a large meal this is not your spot. I got the nashville hot mozzarella sticks which were actually pretty good, I liked the tomato relish they put on top and the ranch was really good. Dive Bar Diva was my cocktail which was pretty good. My friends seemed to like their drinks and bar bites. After dinner we went upstairs to the club and got to skip the line (thankfully). The line for the club wraps around the building down the street most nights, so we got lucky. Dance floor is upstairs and it's pretty small, just one room. There were two DJs that night, and the music was really good. Bar was fun, they handed out free chicken tenders at one point and were squirting shots into peoples mouths out of gatorade bottles. It was awesome. Bathroom line upstairs for women was crazy, only one bathroom and it took a long line. I suggest going downstairs... but at least you'll see the famous cheetah print walls!
