Walked in once a couple months ago when they first opened and wasn't able to get a table. This time I made a reservation for Sunday lunch. It was really quiet and the restaurant less than 30% seated. We were told to order 2-3 items per person and the pintxos are one piece per order and not meant to be shared. We got the spicy spreadable sausage and grilled chorizo. Then the shrimp and beef cheeks. And ended with the squid ink risotto and sliders. Highlight was the beef cheeks, it was so tender and flavorful and the scallion oil really complemented the dish. I didn't quite like the goat cheese in the risotto and the texture was too soft for me. The salsa usage and chorizo pintxos were fine.

Take me back to Spain. Zurito has a wide variety of tapas and mains. The cheesecake was good too. Excellent service too. We will return.

As soon as we entered for our reservation we had a beautiful window seat. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly - giving us great advice over what to choose and some of his personal favorites. I'm not exaggerating when I say every single item we had was incredible in its own way. Not one thing was sub par. It was perfect for a lunch and to try a bunch of small plates. Even the larger items at the bottom of the menu aren't too big but good to share if you want to order a few and mix and match, Ended the meal with the awesome basque cheesecake and just wow! Soooo impressed with this place and can't wait to come back.

I had a really excellent dinner here. Every plate was thoughtful and delicious. I got the potatoes, tortilla, squid ink orzo, mushrooms, peppers, burgers, and octopus. If I had to pick a favorite plate I'd go with the squid ink pasta! Tasted like an elevated Mac and cheese. My drink was delicious too- the winter cocktail. Overall great dinner, can't wait to come back for patio season. Hope they will restock their matchboxes by then!

Sat at the bar with 3 of us total and ordered drinks and a bunch of plates to share. I got the 50/cincuenta cocktail to start which was kinda like a savory martini and I LOVED it. The bartender explained each section of the menu so well to us so we know what was shareable and what was more individual servings. The pintios were like solo bites so we got 2 of those each and then we did 4 raciones which was a good amount of food for 3 of us to share. The bartender was really good at recommending not only his favorites but also the most commonly ordered items. Overall really cool spot and would definitely go again

LOVED this Spanish tapas spot!! We came in September on a sunny day so we got to sit on the patio, but I plan to come back soon and sit inside. The drinks, food, and service were all great. Loved all the dishes we got, but the chorizo was the star of the meal! It was so soft and flavorful and the perfect amount of spiciness.

Great food, flavors, and ambience. I loved our server, she gave great recommendations and the cocktails were good too! Great for date night or tapas with friends.

Tucked on Charles Street in Beacon Hill - small intimate restaurant with great service and great menu. The cocktails are delicious and the food was flavorful! Fun with a group - shareable plates!

Finally got to try Zurito and I must say it has instantly become a new favorite. For starters, the service was amazing, with staff being incredibly accommodating with reservations and organization of birthday features for my party whose birthday we were celebrating. The restaurant also has a lovely intimate and lively vibe -- my favorite!! We grabbed bar seats and our bartender was phenomenal! Her recommendations were great, and our cocktails were so unique and lovely (mine was the gin cocktail with a splash of red wine, which I LOVED!) We tried quite a few dishes, including the patatas bravas, the octopus, the croissant iberico, cana de cabra, pan con tomate, squid ink risotto, and the shishito peppers and all were quite good! I loved the quality of meats, cheeses, and breads! This is a great place for a night out and I can't wait to be back.

This place is so cute - in the middle of beacon hill it's such a gem in the neighborhood. We came here at 4pm right as they opened on Sunday and within 15 minutes it was packed. We got our food quick which was great I thought our food was delicious. Reasonably priced considering how much food we did get. The carrots cooked in brown butter and the Romesco sauce was DELICIOUS. The patatas bravas was also yummy - on par with Barcelona wine bar I also loved the pan con tomate - better than Barcelona in my opinion Def recommend the squid ink risotto and the octopus

Super tasty place! Favorite dishes were the beef cheek and foie gras (if you like that). Things were plated well with interesting flavors, and overall just delicious. It's more on the expensive side, but good for a date night. Cocktails are also pretty good too!

Delish, amazing, warm, will, be, back. Service was great, the ambiance was cozy, but fun, and the food, amazingggg. Minus the goat cheese bread thing as the goat cheese was very... prominent. We ordered a steak and were able to sub the fries with patatas bravas and the chef was happy to do so. The drinks were solid as well. Definitely will make a trip back at some point. We may be a bit biased as well as we love kimchi with steak which this place did just that, but no, they steak was cooked to perfection.

    Nice drinks.

It is loud, so if that isn't your thing, maybe skip it. It is most fun after 10 pm. I've been back many times since.

The restaurant was pretty dead, so we were expecting a relaxed, smooth experience. The prosciutto and cheeses were great -- but let's be honest, it's hard to mess that up. My friend ordered a cheese and meat board and a steak, and I ordered the mushrooms and mussels. After two or three rounds of drinks, I realized my food still hadn't come out. I asked the bartender about it, and he said it could be out in five minutes. I told him that if it was already on the way, we'd take it -- but if it hadn't been put in yet, that was fine and we didn't want it anymore. His response was basically, "If you want it, it'll be out in five minutes." No explanation, no acknowledgment of what happened, and no apology. It felt more like "do you want it or not?" rather than any ownership of the situation. In the end, I never got my food, and it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Not terrible, but definitely disappointing given how quiet it was. The food we did have was solid, but the lack of communication and basic apology knocked this down to two stars for me.

My husband loved his lamb meatballs, and the fried calamari was also really good. Churros and chocolate pudding were both just okay. Not sure if the lack of other customers contributed to the depressing atmosphere but we were seated in the larger dining section and it felt a little haunted. The food was just not very good, it pains me to say. Another review mentioned how the dishes did not seem to be prepared with any love or effort, which I agree with. The patatas bravas, a mainstay of any tapas menu, was perhaps the worst offender: undercooked, roughly cut chunks of potato with a messy drizzle of tomato sauce on top. Not sure how you mess that up. The bread used on the side of our spicy garlic shrimp was stale and cold. The toasted crostini with Iberian ham was an utter mess for a $19 dish - crudely sliced ham layered on top, making it impossible to take a bite without the ham sliding off; very tough, chewy bread. And the portion sizes were miniscule for the regular price (they do a HH special with $5 tapas which is a way better deal). The creme brulee was way too heavy on the cinnamon and amaretto. Our waitress was sweet and the food came out quickly, so giving some points for that. Parking: They offer a parking voucher for the Whole Foods around the corner; it's a minor pain to have to traverse that particular intersection to put the voucher in your car and then back to the restaurant but free parking is such a rarity in Boston so I'll take it.

Even if you don't end up liking the dish, the tapas size is small so you're not losing too much. And most importantly, most of the dishes I tried had garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil as the predominant flavor profile. The perfect seasoning profile for a non-adventurous eater! For the more adventurous eaters, I'd highly recommend sampling from their charcuterie and cheese selection. I enjoyed trying different combinations of cheese and meat with the bread to see which flavor profile was my favorite (also a good activity for Remy's friend from Ratatouille). As other reviewers mentioned, you can try a lot of dishes but the tables aren't that big so you have to be a little bit strategic if you want to dip the bread in the leftover sauces.
