Great service and great food. We enjoy the tapa style menu where we can share and try multiple different dishes. Our favorite and must get is the potato bravas. Super crispy and a classic dish! The four of us shared 4-5 plates and we were pretty stuffed! They have lots of variety in terms of meat and seafood, and veggie items. We came pretty early for dinner and the ambiance was nice and casual.

The ambiance and service are what truly set this restaurant apart from others. We opted for the classic chef's menu, and it was a fun experience letting our server choose the dishes for us. Everything was delicious, especially the charcuterie and tapas selections. The paella was a bit underwhelming in comparison, with relatively small mussels and a modest portion. While the serving size worked well as part of the set menu, ordering the paella on its own for $52 feels a bit pricey for what you get. The flavor was also underwhelming. Overall, the excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and delicious small plates made for an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely on the pricey side.

Made a reservation day of for dinner. Walked in and the ambiance in the restaurant is great. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs and provided recommendations from start to finish. Every thing I ate was delicious

I was super excited to try this tapas spot - i loved aesthetic (it really reminded me of an upscale spot in Barcelona) and really enjoyed the dishes we ordered but unfortunately was a bit disappointed overall with the experience The food itself was delicious! We started with the patatas bravas which were crispy, savory, hot, and delicious. The lamb skewers were sooo good - tender and paired so well with the buttery brioche and pickled onions. We also loved the steak and chorizo - sooo delicious with the garlic aioli. Portions are on the small side and you are charged extra for any adds! The service is where we were let down and why I cannot rate any higher. We came on a Saturday afternoon and despite it not being too busy, it took almost an hour for even our first dish to come out. Additionally, it wasn't until after our first dish came out that we were told they were out of two other dishes that we had ordered. Each dish took a long time with delivery and our server was nowhere to be found (never got our water refilled, never checked in on us, and never even checked us out and we had to learn on our own that we use the QR code).

4.5 stars My Spanish friend took us here and ordered lots and lots of Tapas. Each Tapas was delicious, fine quality, and plated with such care. Both the drink and food menus have a staggering variety of items. My favorites were the tortilla español ($10) that came with the delicious garlic aioli and the jamon Iberico ($34), though nothing was a dud. The croquetas were hot, fluffy, and so unique. The interior is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful.

What a great tapas restaurant! This is better than Barcelona wine bar. The wide variety of vegetarian options was great. I also liked how organized the menu was in terms of vegetarian, seafood, and meat options. The vegetarian paella was AMAZING. The patatas bravas and the apple fennel salad were delicious.

The octopus was chewy and kind of hard, not a good sign in a Spanish restaurant. Mushroom croquettes had a thin filing and not enough flavor other than cream. Churros were good.

I've been to a couple of other Boqueria locations and it's always a great spot for Spanish tapas and paella. This time we were walking around Seaport and decided to get dinner here. Between 4 people we shared the patatas bravas, calamari, garlic shrimp, meatballs and seafood paella. Everything was delicious but I especially loved the calamari which was super tender and very lightly breaded and the paella which had a ton of seafood including octopus, monkfish, clams, squid and shrimp. I'm not a huge fan of paellas where the rice is on the more al dente side but this was just perfect with plenty of crispy rice on the bottom of the pan. The garlic shrimp with bread also deserves a shout out! Dipping the bread in the garlic oil topped with shrimp was such a great bite. The ambiance is nice without feeling too stuffy and i'm always happy after a meal at Boqueria!

Food: WOW! Their tapas were amazing. Best spot I have ever had in Boston. We ordered 4 among the 3 of us and it was the perfect portion. I will be dreaming about all of them!!! Service: Tapas were pretty fast! Service was good. No complaints. Ambiance: SO clean inside! Bathrooms were super clean, lots of space to put coats and stuff too. Loved the interior design as well.

Attended a work dinner at Boqueria last night an I can't say enough about their great drinks, tapas, and service. It's in a hidden street, and even some locals were shocked they didn't know it was there. When we walked in we were all immediately dazzled by the warm, modern interior. Their GM was extremely kind, and our server Nathan was over the top incredible. He gave us all recommendations, matched our energy, and made our experience even more incredible. The bacon wrapped area and mushroom croquettes were a favorite. The drinks were phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a tapas-style group dinner!

Our dinner tab - everything was perfect and delicious. What a treat for our first night in Boston!

It was our first time in Boston. We accompanied our eldest to get settled in Boston as he begins his residency program at Tufts Medical Center in mid-June. Dinner at the wonderful restaurant was our way to celebrate his achievements. It seems like a very popular hangout for locals and has quite a lively evening vibe. The service staff were attentive and friendly. The Tapa style menu is a great way to enjoy fine food with family and friends. Wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended as a self-proclaimed foodie who appreciates delicious seafood and well-prepared dishes. Don't believe me? Look at all the dishes we ordered that night LOL

This is a great tapas place to go hang with a group of friends, have some drinks and share a few plates of very good Spanish tapas style food. I have 4 stars for food and service only because I have had much better before. We had theee different servers rotating throughout the night and that took away from a consistent service feeling. First waiter was not very good, didn't make any suggestions and couldn't remember orders. The sangaria was super weak / watered down, so skip that. Crispy sliced Iberico pork was very good, and so was the skirt steak with chimichuri sauce. Chocolate basque cheesecake was a perfect way to end the night.

Me and my husband ended up making reservations here. It was really busy throughout the city so we ended up not being able to get any seating until really late but I guess that's what happens when you don't make reservations on a Saturday. The waiter was great, the host was really nice to us, but let's get down to the food. The food was phenomenal. We got a whole variety of food. We got a couple drinks. All of them were great. We had a salad the wings. And the paella. Which takes an hour to come out so we definitely had more items. I just can't remember but everything that we got was really good. I wasn't a fan of the wings, but my husband was so maybe that's just preference. The vibe in the restaurant is really good friendly and Just a good spot to have a date

We thought a drink by the water sounded great. Para Maria is just across the street from a waterfront spot that is very popular, so they don't have unobstructed water views, but we knew the water was there. And on a hot summer day in mid-August, they had the big garage doors open to the outside. It felt like we were somewhere beautiful and relaxing on vacation. We took two seats at their very large bar (which was not very busy at all on a Friday in the afternoon) and ordered a couple of drinks. Mine was their Picosita (Lalo Tequila, Ancho Reyes, Mango, Jalapeno, and Tajin rim), which was perfect for a summer day. I'd love to return with a group, because their margarita pitchers come in lots of flavors/styles (classic, strawberry, lychee, guava, coconut, and spicy), and that would be a great thing to share with friends on the patio of the bar. We didn't eat on this occasion, but I'd be happy to return for more drinks and maybe a bite to eat next time!

The venue was different, had a couple large tables and many small ones. Restaurant size was small for seaport location. They have outside tables but it was too cold to dine out. It's a Farm to Table concept restaurant, food is very fresh. Food didn't knock our socks off but it wasn't disappointing. We had the pork tots, the crispy cauliflower, beef carpaccio, the focaccia, and the grass fed steak for 2. Pork tots: first bite was Devine, but as it cools down, there becomes bits that gets stuck to your teeth Beef carpaccio: super thin slices, the dressing was good Crispy cauliflower: yummy, loved the dill Focaccia: recommended by the server, was good and served with homemade lard whip, the whip wasn't our cup of tea Grass fed beef: yummy but not enough for 2 For dessert, server sent over coconut sorbet that was probably the best item we had all night. It was delicious. The coconut was prominent. Wine: be warned because I ordered a glass of Cabernet blend, but during the tasting I could tell right away it wasn't a Cabernet. When the server looked at the bottle after my comment, turns out it was 70% Merlot. I would go back for the service, atmosphere and light eats. This is not a place to go if you are extremely hungry!

For the quality of the food, we thought the prices were incredibly fair, and when you factor in the location, it's a real winner. We loved the ambiance too; it reminded me of the cozy little Italian restaurants in Rome. We started with the focaccia, which was to die for, and the house-made ricotta, also delicious. For pasta, we had the ravioli stuffed with Jonah crab and codfish, and it was one of the best pastas I've ever had. Our waiter mentioned people usually shy away from it and go for safer choices, but I cannot recommend it enough. We also had the tagliatelle bolognese and the pork Milanese, both incredible. Last time I walked in and was told…read morethere would be a two-hour wait, but this time I made a reservation and finally got to enjoy a delicious meal! Tiropita Rolls: Very straightforwardly delicious. The bread was warm, soft, and airy, with a rich aroma of butter and cheese; the spread was a rich blend of honey butter, and olives, sweet and delicious, perfect as an appetizer. Tzatziki: A slight disappointment. The cucumber and Greek yogurt spread was surprisingly heavy, a bit cloying, and the pickled kumquats weren't as sweet as I expected, but rather had a slightly bitter taste. The pita bread was thick and soft, probably better suited for dipping in soup--like Bourdeto--than for the spread. Bourdeto: The tomato fish soup was a pleasant surprise. The freshly caught grouper of the day was thick and tender, lightly seared to create a crispy crust. The broth was a vibrant, tangy tomato base, with onions, fennels, and red peppers contributing a sweet, layered flavor. Trahanas, fermented wheat and dairy, added richness and a smooth texture to the soup. The broth also had a slight spiciness, making it incredibly comforting on a chilly autumn day. Portokalopita: The dessert that elevated the entire meal. A traditional Greek orange phyllo, the cake, made from crumbs of phyllo pastry, becomes incredibly soft and moist after being soaked in orange syrup. Every bite was bursting with rich orange sweetness and fragrance, followed by a slightly bitter orange zest--perfectly balanced. Paired with Manouri cheese ice cream, the creamy flavor was incredibly rich and creamy, creating a harmonious and layered flavor profile.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation.
