Grilled Lamb Chops with the lemon potatoes on the side (gluten free).
    Taryn L.

Came for a work dinner, table of 9. I'm gluten free celiac and a colleague is dairy free. Very appreciative of the clearly labeled menu items. I had the appetizer of caramelized carrots with dill yogurt and cashews. It was absolutely delicious and gluten free! And I had the Grilled Lamb Chops with the lemon potatoes on the side (gluten free). I also enjoyed the mandarin mocktail! Really great service and delicious food!

If I'm being honest, I don't think I'd bother going back to Trade. I really didn't think the food was that great, especially for the price. Nothing was objectively wrong with it, but just nothing special. However, I did enjoy the lamb... but I'll just about always like a good lamb dish, so I'm not sure if that's saying much. If you're going just after work, expect a pretty corporate crowd, especially given the location. I did appreciate the upscale vibes and the staff was very attentive. Maybe it's just not my taste, but I've honestly enjoyed the food more at some of the fast casual Greek spots like Cava and such.

I attended a team dinner here while in town and I really enjoyed the experience. Trade offers quite a few Greek wines and we started with a Rosé that was wonderful. The table shared appetizers of baked feta in a phyllo dough, which I loved, and also cauliflower and eggplant. For my meal, I had the hanger steak with whipped spicy feta and crispy potatoes which was great. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their meals. Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant had a nice ambiance - while it was very busy, I will say it was very dark. They could use more lighting but maybe that's by design.

We had a wonderful meal at Trade! The service was top notch, and the drinks were fantastic. The dining room is nice and elegant but, fair warning, the lighting is very dim. It's not much of an issue but be prepared when it comes time for looking at the menu. I had the branzino. It was one of the best fish dishes I've ever ordered. The skin was crispy, the meat was tender, and the chimichurri was a perfect pairing. Get a little bite of the tender lemon potato with a forkful and it's heaven. My wife has been raving about her moussaka and my SIL shared a bite of her lamb shank. It was so rich and had an incredible depth of flavor. Shout out to John for making us feel at home.

Just a few min walk from the train station! Trade had a nice interior and was quite spacious. We were seated right away without a reservation as we went at an in-between time (3:30PM). We got the dips and mezze spread and wine. The dips were fantastic and the pita was nice and fluffy! I'm glad they had authentic Greek wines on the wine list as well. I also got the Greek salad to-go and it was the original style (no lettuce) which was very refreshing

Whoppa!! An absolutely wonderful experience at Trade for date night. An incredibly modern high-ceiling setting & ambiance, with delicious Mediterranean plates, exquisite wine pairings and cocktails. Their Dine Out Boston menu offered a wonderful variety of their menu items that you could pair with a lot of wines. Certainly a must try. With each menu item heavenly inspired by the deepest notions of the Greek way of life, you're bound to have a wonderful culinary experience at Trade.

Usually when a place is dimly, you know it's going to be expensive, offer incredibly small portions and sometimes ultimately only offer decent dishes. Luckily, this place was dimly lit with great ambiance, had decent portion, and the dishes were incredibly enjoyable! It was suggested that we order lots of things to share. The charred carrots, broccolini, eggplant, octopus and calamari were my favorites. Service was fantastic and everyone made sure our large group was well looked after. Prices are on the steeper side but pretty worth it in my opinion. Drinks were good as well but had so much ice in them. Overall a superb spot for date night and group gatherings.

A quick walk over from South Station, Trade was the perfect respite from long hours being cramped on an Amtrak train. Met my friends here for lunch after hopping off the train and appreciated the airy, natural lighting. Trade is a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant -- I loved being able to walk into a place with soothing ambience, offered water and a place to sit and unwind. The attention to detail (fishing nets being used as decor for overhead lighting over the booths) was a special touch. Seemed like it catered to the working lunch crowd and commuters. John, the GM, was so welcoming and the staff here were all amazing! Really appreciated the warm hospitality. We ordered several dishes to share and enjoyed them all. Kudos to Chef Jody Adams. Deliciousness in each bite and lovely presentation. The price point was on the higher side, but seemed about par for the area. We especially enjoyed the pita (which they make fresh in-house) + mèze spread (the charred eggplant was phenomenal), village salad (refreshing!) and mushroom pizzette. The lemon chicken was also very good, but on the smaller portion side for an entree. Drinks were also refreshing -- the rosé and Aphrodite's Tears did not disappoint. Such a great experience! Thank you, Trade for kicking off a weekend in Boston on a good note!

This is a beautiful restaurant located in the financial district. This is a great place for a date night. We got the Pita & Méze Spreads to start out with. It came on this beautiful board with divots for the spread. The pita was light and refreshing combining well with the different flavored spreads. The Taziki spread was creamy and tangy. The chard eggplant had a umami and rich flavor. The whip feta was my favorite providing that fresh and zesty flavor. The spicy garlic shrimp was by far one of my favorite dishes. The shrimp itself was juicy and the sauce pairing was delicious. The staff was very kind and advised us to use the extra pita bread they brought to dip into the sauce of the shrimp. I could not stop snacking it was amazing. The Falafel Bulgur Pilaf has lots of veggies with different texture. Overall, I had a great experience

Work dinner with a table of 8. Very cool vibe inside with amazing lighting and cool tables and seating. Music was a bit loud but nice choice of mood music, upbeat vibes type. Service was outstanding. Great cocktails and decent beer list. Appetizers were delish. Had the grilled carrots, burratta, and hummus dip plate. Nitrate was awesome as were the carrots. For entrees around the table looked amazing. Some had the scallops, lamb chops, and Branzino. I had the beef Wellington which was amazing. Desserts we ordered the donuts. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Top notch service and food experience. Definitely recommend.

What a fine dining experience here today! We had made dinner reservations and were seated promptly. Muwonge, our server was a delight. His was attentive, friendly and polite. We had some dietary restrictions and he took great care of it. We ordered octopus for our appetizers and a salad and swordfish entree'. The octopus was the best I ever had. It was cooked to perfection and it had no fishy smell whatsoever. So fresh and delicious. The swordfish with the harissa-pepper sauce was finger licking good and was presented well. The winter salad had a lot of citrus flavor and sweetness from the fruit to balance. John, the manager came to check on us a couple of times, made sure we were enjoying our meals. What a fine place! The food, the service and the ambiance is a glowing 5!

    Pita & Méze Spreads

Wonderful food and drinks. Service was very good. We sat at a two top table, but before our reservation sat at the bar which was nice. We started off with the Pita bread with Taziki, Spicy whipped feta, and eggplant. All were very good. We then got the Lamb Pastitsio, that béchamel sauce was amazing. Lamb was tender with great flavor. Shockingly more filling than it looked. The falafel bowl was delicious and the yam base with the chickpeas was great.

We were seated immediately, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Sarah, our waitress, was top-notch--friendly, helpful, and genuinely delightful. We started with the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, which were so yummy. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Dynamite Roll and absolutely loved the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. I had the Vegetarian Power Bowl, and it was one of those meals you remember long after the trip is over. Since Moxies was just a few steps from our hotel, we thought it would be the perfect place for lunch before heading back to Arizona. We were offered a table inside or on the second-floor patio, and we chose the patio. Maybe that was our mistake. From the moment we sat down, it felt like a completely different restaurant. The atmosphere was very casual, but unfortunately so was the service. Our waitress was forgetful, clueless, and at times borderline disrespectful. Our food arrived completely cold after apparently sitting for over 30 minutes, yet there was no acknowledgment of the delay--not even a simple apology. I honestly couldn't believe this was the same place we had raved about the night before. If I were reviewing only our dinner, this would be an easy 5 stars. But I can't ignore what happened the next day. Maybe we were just unlucky. Maybe the patio has a different rhythm than the dining room. I really don't know. I just wish our last memory before heading back to Arizona had been as wonderful as our first.

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
