I had a great time at Limani! Loved the ambiance, the vibes, the music, the service, and our food. After being seated in the cutest booth, we were served warm bread with fresh cut basil for our olive oil. A nice touch and a good start to our dinner. I got a glass of rose so I can't comment on the drinks, but my friend got a mocktail and enjoyed it. We got the zucchini chips as an appetizer which we liked. For dinner, got the Chilean sea bass, absolutely loved it! Cooked perfectly and the additional favors of the other ingredients (corn, pancetta) brought everything together beautifully. My friend got the lamb chops - she thought they could've been a little more seasoned, but when she asked for more of the balsamic glaze (there wasn't much on the lamb), that brought the flavors together better. We came here for a fancy girls night over a good dinner and drinks and got exactly what we were looking for.

This was my first time here and I was a little skeptical because I don't really like Greek food. However - everything I had was amazing. It was a work dinner and we ordered so many apps. I loved the cauliflower and the Brussel sprouts. My bone-in ribeye was amazing. The restaurant was a nice and cozy place. And their sangrias was really good too. Overall this place gets a 10 out of 10. Service was great too!

Yogurt from the lunch prefix menu - A dessert with piped white cream or mousse arranged in a line, garnished with black tapioca pearls and crushed toppings, served in a white, shallow bowl. The presentation emphasizes the contrast between the white cream and dark toppings, with a drizzle of syrup or sauce.

After opting out of our initial reservation at a nearby restaurant, we decided to dine here for lunch on my birthday after church. Aesthetically, it is beautiful. On this Sunday afternoon, it wasn't too busy inside. We were able to be seated immediately. Joseph was our server and he was really friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. My family decided to order from the prefix lunch menu. I went with: Octopus - 9/10. This was so yummy! The octopus was tender and flavorful. The dish was pretty filling. Lobster linguine - 7.5/10. The lobster was juicy but the sauce was a little bland/basic. I took it home and spiced it up. Karidopita - 8/10. This walnut sponge cake was rich and not too sweet. My family enjoyed the salmon. They also liked the crab cakes but wish it a little bigger portion. My sister liked the lamb chops but found some parts to be too fatty. The fries were hot and crispy. Thanks for a lovely birthday lunch, Limani! I'll definitely be back!

The image shows a crab cake on a white plate, garnished with a sprig of herbs. Two dollops of creamy sauce are placed behind the crab cake, with a drizzle of oil around the dish. The presentation suggests a seafood entrée, likely served at a restaurant.

I came here for lunch with my family for my sister's birthday on a Sunday. Luckily they took our last minute reservation as because we had to cancel our original reservations at a restaurant a couple blocks down. We must've come in between hours as the restaurant was not packed which works for me. The servers and hostess's were all kind and welcoming. The restaurant is aesthetically appealing. We ordered a bunch of food from the menu. I ordered the following: Crab cake: 7/10 Lobster linguine: 8.5/10 Raspberry and mango sorbet: 10/10 The price was reasonable for the lunch menu. My only complaint was that the service was eeexxxttrrreeeemmmlllyyyyy sloooooooowww between each course and we would often awkwardly wait a long time to be served the next dish.

I would like to start off by saying, I did not get the best service right when I walked through that door, but I really enjoyed the food. So I gave it a 3 stars for the food and deducted the 2 stars for the service I got. Service: I was a walk in guest and asked if there was any tables, the host told me it was fully booked tonight (even though there was literally so many empty seats). I walk out and check online to make a rsvp. There were so many tables open from 5-8. So I made a rsvp and walked right back in. She proceeded to tell me "Im glad you guys cane back there was a cancellation on the rsvp". Ok... got seated orders taken, appetizers came out within 10 minutes. The entree took 20, not too long not too fast I guess was just surprised. When we got the food, they didn't even ask us if we needed anything else nor did they notice that we were missing a fork. Had to wait a long time just to get someone to get me a fork. Towards the end we were waiting for our waiter to get the check and takeout boxes, but he was no where to be found. When the manager walked by I asked if he could get us the boxes, he said he will find someone for me. He never even did because the waiter finally came back and I had to ask him again. Service was just slow. Food: I really enjoyed the octopus, it was full of flavor and easy to chew. The fish was very good as well. The steak was not bad, if only they had better steak knives. I could barely cut mine with their steak knife... Ambiance: as we were leaving it did get more packed. The bathroom was pretty neat and clean. I liked how big and roomy the restaurant was. The lighting wasn't too dark, and lots of window views from every corner.

Food superb. All dishes were the proper temperature and visually appealing. I hate when food tastes better than it looks. Look good AND taste good is what kitchens need to strive for. Limani Grille ‍ Ambiance excellent. Sat in a fishbowl booth I call them. You look out into the entire restaurant. And everybody looks at you too . We beat the rush barely. But no waiting on our meal. Everything was timed impeccably. One note our server never asked if I wanted a wine refill. That's my only issue. But it didn't take away from the overall experience. I would definitely go back again when in the area of course. I just couldn't muster up the excitement to give 5 but it's a very strong 4.4!

I came here because I saw this on the Boston calendar and it was Sinatra night. I love Frank Sinatra so naturally, I had to make a reservation and was a wonderful experience. The place was contemporary chic and was packed. We were seated at a nice booth, and there is a great view of the restaurant and far away from the band where I can have a conversation and listen to some good tunes. We ordered the grilled octopus and tuna tartare to start which were amazing then I had the best chilean Sea bass and sampled the lamb shank which was a fall of the bone experience. Dessert was big enough to share for two. I had the orange cake and it was amazing. The music in the background was great and on their break they put Greek traditional music on and the staff was waving napkins in the air and I squeezed a little Greek dancing on my way to the ladies. I really want to give this place five stars, but there was a delay to get our cocktails first because the appetizers came out beforehand. Our server grabbed them immediately when he was aware. Then he almost forgot the our tuna tartare because he wanted to ask us if we were ready for the main course and we reminded him we're still waiting for the tuna Tartare. The server gave us complimentary cappuccino which were not great, and we got them spilt on the saucer and we asked the helper if he can give us a napkin. Instead of just giving us a new saucer and wiping the cup, he just placed a bunch of cocktail napkins on the saucer to soak it up. Lastly, when the bill came, the second Prosecco's was charged $17 versus the initial $14 Prosecco I had. The server did offer to give us a difference in cash, but we just wanted to inform him. Also, he also accidentally broke the candle votive but had it swept immediately. Overall, we did have a good time there and the staff was nice, but they just need a little tweaking to make this a five star experience.

I came here for happy hour two days in a row and it was nice and quiet during the weekdays, despite being here for a conference at the Omni. Christina, the bartender, is so sweet. She recommended the sliders and they're definitely tasty and very tender. The buns were soft and moist. The duxbury oysters were fresh and delicious that I got them both days. Would love to come back and try their other food options next time.

Bread and olive oil - Two pieces of toasted bread with a slightly charred surface and a drizzle of olive oil are placed on a white plate with the Limani Grille logo. The plate is on a dark wooden table, with a glass of water and other tableware visible in the background. The setting suggests a dining experience at a Greek restaurant in Boston.

This place was fantastic! We work for a Greek company so 7 of us made a reservation while in town for work and it didn't disappoint. We had quite a variety of food and shared it amongst ourselves. The staff was great and attentive and even gave us some dessert at the end which was a welcome surprise! We all loved the food and drinks, below is a list of what we ordered: - Limani Chips - Pikilia (dip sampler) - Tomato Salad - Moussaka - Feta wrapped Phyllo - Shrimp Saganaki - Octopus - Grille Halloumi - Lamb Shank - Lemon Potatoes They also gave us the following for dessert: - Deconstructed Baklava - Karidopita - Portokalpoita The highlight for me was the feta wrapped phyllo, Limani chips, and the dip sampler... and of course the desserts! They even brought some sorbet for one of my coworkers as he is allergic to nuts. We will definitely be back, hopefully next year!

The menu refers to these as "Greek cheese bread" but somehow that doesn't do it justice - these were immensely pillowy and cheesy, with an amazing crust, with homemade honey butter on the side. I could have had just these for dinner and been satisfied. They really nailed the bread. My other favorites: 1. Hipiti: spicy whipped feta with crispy potatoes on the side. I don't do well with spice but I absolutely loved this. 2. Marouli: winter lettuce with the most amazing vinaigrette dressing. My only knock to this is, presentation-wise, they serve it with half of the plate empty and the other half with salad. I don't understand why restaurants do this because - one, it only highlights the smaller portion and two, we're just going to mix the salad all around in the bowl anyway. 3. Boudeto: daily catch in a beautiful tomato broth. For a seafood dish at a restaurant in Back Bay, this was priced at a fairly reasonable $28. The only dish that fell a little flat for me was the tzatziki - needed a bit more seasoning. As it was, I was eating mostly just plain yogurt. The table-side preparation was cool, though. The space is its own visual dinner, there's simply a lot to look at (including a drawing of Poseidon riding a surf board). We got the big table in the back, which was a beautiful glass structure with a whole terrarium underneath. We couldn't stop marveling at it throughout the meal. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful recommendations, came by to check on us often even though we were pretty far in the back, super patient with our questions. Hard to get reservations but worth it! Don't bother driving / trying to find parking unless you're willing to eat a hefty garage fee, it's Back Bay.

Located in a beautiful part of South End with some, but not a ton of street parking, the restaurant has a small space decorated with a "sea" theme with ropes and a big painting of a sailor. The food is the main draw, and the highlight is really authentically Greek dishes. We tried the Pantzaria (baked beets), kolokithakia (zucchini chips), kalamarakia tis skaras (grilled calamari), keftedes (Greek meatballs), and horiatiki (tomato/cucumber/feta salad). The highlights were definitively the zucchini chips which were so crunchy with a yummy dipping sauce or the calamari which were seasoned in this yummy caper oil sauce, or the keftedes which were perfectly cooked. The beets were pretty basic unseasoned beets, but I love beets and really enjoyed this as a low-acid side to the other food. Lastly, we tried the Greek coffee which came in little espresso cups and was soooo good, would highly recommend.
