Glad to have found a spot that was open late and had much better pricing considering this fancy downtown Seaport location. It's a great spot for hanging out by the bar and watching the game. As for the service, our waiter was friendly and offered suggestions since we were a bit torn about what to order. I was here with my family and we were all over the place with the menu. One kiddo wanted a sandwich, the other wanted just appetizers. Hubby and I chose entrees. Appetizers: - meatballs came with garlic butter bread but the butter wasn't really melted. Meatballs were good with a pepper-y aftertaste. - lobster bisque was way too salty. Had a few loose pieces of lobster so that was nice to see. It was like a sherry cream base. All soups are one size. - Mac and cheese bites were served with ranch dipping sauce. This was good but needed a little more salt or cheese. It was not memorable. The beef short rib grilled cheese was really delicious. Totally recommend. Comes with fries and they were served in a little basket with ketchup on the side. Entrees: - rosemary steak tips as requested were medium rare. This was recommended by our waiter so we ordered it. The mashed potatoes it was served with was a nice heaping portion and totally butter heavy. Very much a comfort food item on a cold Winter night. - pan roasted seabass, as I know it's not a seafood restaurant, I just didn't want meat. Ordered the seabass, great portion and the string beans were perfectly cooked "al dente". Good crisp. And the wild rice (pilaf) with mushrooms it came with was a nice side accompaniment. Seabass was a bit dry but flavor was good. Next time we'll stick to bar food, that was consistent and probably what they are best at. Great location, a block from the waterfront.

Bar area, nice place to spend time with my son... good vibes definitely a place for young crowd.

Great service all the employees were cracking jokes and reading off the menu, food was pretty good, wouldn't suggest the Mac and cheese, just a bit bland but the cheeseburger sliders are a must try. The whole vibe was amazing to with energetic music lights and sports photos

I loved my experience at seaport social! I started with an espresso martini and got the cutest little design out on it - i loved that! It was such a tasty drink too. Then I got chips and guac as well as the non alcoholic margarita. The guac was high quality and the mocktail was nice as well. The little rubber ducky was such a cute touch! I loved everything about this. The place was pretty dead Tuesday after work so was service was very fast.

    Great atmosphere and drinks!

I initially walked by and saw people sitting in here with TVs on sports, playing and great music. After freshening up at the hotel, I came back here and had a dirty martini which was very well-made and friendly service. Probably come back here multiple times during my visit.

It was a very long day and I wanted to grab something close to the hotel so I popped into Seaport Social. Cool looking bar. There was a pretty good crowd. Most were just drinking. My waitress recommended the Maple Whiskey Smash, some ordered it. It was ok. More lemon than anything else. Couldn't taste the bourbon or the maple. Not a bad drink, but not what I expected. I ordered a cup of clam chowder. It too was just ok. A lot of smoke and almost no clam. For dinner I got the steak tips with mash and asparagus. All 3 were under seasoned and after I finished, I reviewed the menu and it would appear that they forgot to include the bearnaise sauce. The waitress was quite busy with other tables and was mostly ignored. My chowder was deliver about 30 seconds before my dinner. I'd have ordered a cocktail but by the time she got around to checking in on me, I was ready to leave. There is a convention in town which might explain my experience. I'll try it again sometime and get a burger.

TL;DL - confusing vibes and mediocre food. First of all, the vibes were weird. There were hallmark movies on some screens and random, minor league basketball teams playing on the others. There was also rap music playing which was confusing and didn't fit with the rest of the vibe. The crab cakes were good but the rest of the food was at or below average. Service was a little slow and certainly nothing to write home about.

Good service at a busy bar. Old Fashioned was on point. Did not order any food, but menu looks good. Loud music and crowded at the bar, but good atmosphere.

Well, I wanted to like this place. I did. The service was the worst I've had in Boston and while my fish and chips was crisp, it had no flavor. Lobster bisque has plenty of lobster, but no flavor. A newer place that needs better service and some old bay seasoning.

The brussel sprouts were not good as it tasted like someone put an entire lemon on them. It was also outrageous to charge an 18% service charge and a 3% admin fee on food that I picked up from the restaurant. I have no idea why you have to pay over 20% in fees for food that you are taking to go. I would not recommend dining here.

We went up to the hostess stand and were seated right away. Our server came by and was very friendly. However, as the night went on the service became quite slow. It took a lot of time for our food to come out and to get our to-go boxes as well. For a drink, I ordered the PINA-NO-LADA. It is basically a virgin pina colada. Very delicious and they added some nice cherries on top. For the food we shared: -CEVICHE: Great flavor and very fresh octopus. Went well with the tortilla chips it came with. -SHRIMP SCAMPI: The pasta was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp that were big and juicy. However, the sauce was overly acidic. There was way too much lemon in it. I do also wish they had more than just 4 shrimp on top of a $30 bowl of pasta. -BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Was good brussel sprouts. All in all, while the food was pretty good (with some hit or miss elements), it is such an expensive meal especially for the portion and service you are getting.

We got the Thai chicken meatballs which were seasoned well and had the perfect amount of spice for the coconut green curry sauce. Their beet salad was also good, the shaved fennel and avocado really helped. For our mains, we got the cider brined Berkshire pork chop and the organic chicken. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, had a good sear/crust was juicy, really my favorite. The chicken was also delicious well, not dry and seasoned well. But the food is just ok. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas (one entree size, one app size), and 4 or 5 apps and nothing was impressive. The pappardelle w bolognese was the highlight for me. The lemon ricotta ravioli was borderline cold by the time I cut into it which was really odd. The mozzarella was forgettable, but the pork belly was solid. The scallops that were on special were the itty bitty kind and just ok - mostly overwhelmed by whatever breading they were covered in. The best part was probably the deserts - I had the creamy Nutella something or other - and was really upset when I got to the airport in the morning and realized I left it in the hotel fridge /sad face. Crème brûlée was on point. If nothing else, their pastry chef is 100 on the land/sea/sky.

The reservation process was easy and a group of 5 was easily accommodated on the day and time requested. We arrived together after a short walk from the office. Bonus points to Moooo for not only having complimentary coat check, but also safe bag storage knowing much of their clientele on a weeknight is in transit from the office to home. Please people, don't forget to tip the coat check girls, it is only the right thing to do. Seated at our table the restaurant was initially fairly empty, but filled up nicely while we are already enjoying cocktails, wine, and appetizers. The long bar followed by tables of various sizes filled the restaurant, but it never was too loud and there was plenty of space between tables that you did not feel like you were sitting on top of each other or listening to their conversation more then the person across from your own table. Like most fine dining experiences, the complimentary rolls were served warm and lathered in melted butter. Sinful!. We ordered several appetizers for the table to share including tuna tartare which was very tasty and recommended. I also recommend the Japanese wagyu beef dumplings which were both delicate and savory. Lastly, the calamari was crispy and hot with the right amount of heat from the lemon and herb aioli. To accompany the entrees we ordered the broccolini, Yukon gold potatoes and the highly recommended tater tots. The only issue we had was with the tots which we collectively thought were both slightly over cooked and tasted "different". Said another way, I have never had a tater tot that didn't leave me wanting to eat them one after another until they were all gone, but this one was more than enough and more than 3/4 of the serving was left for the bus-person. Three of us ordered the 8oz Omaha filet which were cooked to perfection and delicious. Why is there not a 12 oz offering like most steak houses? Literally mine looked like it was 4 oz on the large, stark white plate when served. Thankfully being cooked to a perfect medium rare and accompanies by a bordelaise sauce which is also a rarity to find offered, was a treat. The prime New York sirloin and prime ribeye were equally cooked perfectly and delicious. We passed on dessert or after dinner drinks, but certainly enjoyed our visit. It didn't taste fresh and came across more like artificial jalapeño flavoring rather than real infusion--and it wasn't spicy at all. For food, we ordered a variety of small plates to share.
