I Was there on 2/14/23 they had preset menus for valentines days starting at 95$ pp and up. The food came out cold, my cheesecake was hard like it had been sitting for a week prior. We had to ask the staff twice to clear the dirty glasses and dishes off the table. The worst part was my boyfriend almost immediately after leaving started to feel sick and was projectile vomiting all night until the next day clearly food poisoning. When we called the next day to speak to a manager they said no one else had called with any issues but they would look into it. We live in the neighborhood and have many friends that frequent this restaurant, it so unfortunate to be dismissed in such a way. We will never return here again. read more

Came in and was seated immediately, the wait staff is super pleasant, however, our server was affable and kind but not really professional. Spilled wine while pouring it, couldn't really answer specific questions on preparation, when the food came they had to ask who ordered what. It was date night and we were excited to go to Baciami. Free parking, beautiful restaurant, music on a Saturday night the only thing missing was good food. We started off with a roasted fig and prosciutto salad. The figs were fine the salad was light and tasteless. Bread was served with two different types of olive oil and a homemade ratatouille. Nice. We moved on to delicious wine and our main course. Veal Saltimboca usually a flavorful dish was overly salty. It came with pasta and garlic spinach. The presentation was a bit off. The food was thrown on the plate and looked unappetizing The spinach was the best part. Our other meal was 2lbs of Stone Crabs.... Yum! Sweet, flavorful crab enhanced by a wonderful mustard dipping sauce. However that was all there was; no sides. Our waitress asked how everything was before we started to eat. We said it looked fine and that was the last we saw of her until nearly the end when we complained about the veal, the surcharge on the check due to expenses beyond their control and the fact that we were charged for items we canceled and did not receive. The bill was fixed. But the waitress did not send over a manager to check on us, no desert or coffee was offered for compensation. Our waitress said well I hope you will come back. This place is so gorgeous inside! They have amazing artwork on the ceilings and live piano performances. The drinks were made to perfection and the food was incredible. In an attempt to visit Prime in Delray, I was rerouted to Baciami by their front desk, as Prime is undergoing some remodeling. I was agreeable to the compromise, as I am a big fan of Prime and assumed they would only give a good recommendation. Well, while I'd love to give a rave review here, I'm afraid the restaurant was epically average. Joey was a very attentive server, to his credit (although awkwardly jovial). The ambiance was nice, although the music went from "live piano bar" to "club mix" while he was on break. The strangest part about the meal, however, was the food. The food was just ... okay. In fact, I may even dip a little lower than that. Sing a guy who eats very high protein, I was disappointed that EVERYTHING was covered in sauces. I mean, we ordered several types of proteins, and they all were swimming in sauce. My theory: If everything is covered in sauce, the sauce is hiding something. So I was trying to go next door to get a burger at Sweetwater, but there was a huge wait. This place looked nice so we thought we would try it. It's an Italian steakhouse so to speak. Basically another way to charge more money because they serve prime steaks. The atmosphere is very nice. It's very modern, and there is chill music playing when you come in. The problem is there's no host or hostess there to greet you. We waited for a few minutes, looked at a menu, and thought ok it's a tad pricy but why not? So we finally got seated at a high top. Unfortunately it was near the bar so we heard the screaming of the Friday night drunks. Listen, if I am spending $50 for dinner get the drinks out of my way. We started with the caprese which was delicious. The mozzarella was very soft and flavorful. It was served with a balsamic glaze on a bed of greens. I wish there was a little more glaze. I wanted to get some fresh pepper on it, but the waitress was nowhere to be found. She seems to be the only one out here. So we ate it anyway. I had the Veal Chop Parm, my friend had the Chicken Parm. Both were good. They were served over a penne pasta. The veal chop was tender and tasty, but it lacked anything special that would justify its lofty price tag. The chicken was also good. It was a nice, thick piece of chicken and it was well cooked. The food is good. Don't get me wrong. But you're paying more for the atmosphere than anything else. We get the bill, and then comes the real kick in the teeth. A 3.5% surcharge for extra cleaning. They called it an operations fee. That's a crock. Pay your own bills. You charge $38 for veal parm, and you have the cojones to add 3.5%? By the way it doesn't say it anywhere. I had to Google it to find out what was happening. That left a bad taste in my mouth. I personally wouldn't come back here, but if you're in the mood for a $50 Italian meal it's not the worst food in the world. read more

We were first told our table wasn't ready and then I got up and checked on our table and was told that oh your table has been ready we just thought you were having drinks. The waiter finally comes over and takes our drink order and we still at this point had no bread for the table, no water and I ask him what's good here that you like on the menu and he persists to say "I don't know everything's good here I'm really busy just order"- after that we ask for the manager because the waiter was atrocious. We had a gift certificate receipt for $40.00. My friend got it for me for a birthday present. It did not have the QR code but we showed it to the waiter BEFORE we ordered any food. We showed him where it said gift. He told us there would not be a problem so we ordered away. When the bill came the manager said he would not honor it AFTER we ate. We explained we showed it to the waiter before hand and he said no problem . Not only did the manager refuse to honor it he was rude and did not offer any kind of concession. Decor is themed Italian Service: Monday's are tough to gauge and I feel they may have been a tad understaffed. Food: was delicious, large portions best for sharing. If I had to do it over I'd get two courses and split each. Wine list and cocktail list were both great. Club service for soda and iced tea is also a nice touch. Mom has the chicken Parmesan which was huge and really well done, Pasta looked handmade and the chicken was juice with a nice panko mix to the breading. I had the bouillabaisse, was nice. My wife and I and 2 other couples wound up at Baciami after a wine tasting at Crown.North west corner of Woolbright and Federal.Was looking for someplace close.We were all glad we found Baciami.We arrived around 930pm.and were were asked if we wanted a table or sit in the lounge area.We decided to lounge.Very comfortable couches and sofa chairs were available.We all ordered appetizers,including calamari,cheese and meat board,and the sausage rabe.It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy great tasting appetizers.I also had a Peroni,and a Stella.Reasonable priced appetizers and beer.Waitress was great,bathroom was very clean.Nice ambiance.Looking forward to going back and ordering their entrees. read more

Very torn about this review. In a nutshell, food was good but wasn't impressed by management or service. We were denied happy hour pricing and access to the HH menu because the lounge area isn't conducive to people in wheelchairs. The table is too low for people in a wheelchair. Also the ramp outside is out of compliance for rise to run(to steep). Asked to be accommodated at a regular table due to issues and management denied us completely. I was pushing to leave but the group member(person in wheelchair) didn't want to make a scene. We proceeded to sit at a regular table and were forced to pay double for the same food we planned on eating in the lounge. I personally will not be returning to Baciami. You can Thank the manager last night for that. Just some background on myself. Over 30 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry and employed in every position from dishwater to GM and also corporate positions. My 2nd time here and don't even know why I gave it another try as it was worse than the 1st time! My wife and I went on a Saturday nite 7PM (prime time) and the place was DEAD! Except for the remnants from the happy hour that ended a short time before there were like 10 tables occupied! Red flag #1!! The 2 appetizers were HORRIBLE!! Stuffed mushrooms were hard as in NOT cooked! Crab cake was nothing but a large glob of mush with some crab flakes about! Dinner was HORRIFIC!! The twin lobster tails ($72!!) were a joke the asparagus was larger than the tails and they were freezer burnt!! The short rib pasta was a large portion however the short ribs were NOT fresh and tasted that way! Our server (Jonathan) was GREAT, he knew we were not happy and wanted to get the manager but we refused and politely asked for the check ( $203 ) and left! I went to Baciami earlier this evening with three girlfriends. We had drinks in the bar area where the music was so loud we couldn't hear one another. Upon moving to the dining room, we asked a man who later purported to be the owner if the music could be turned down. His answer was "No!" I asked why not and he said he was the owner and "that's the way it is. Did we want the table or not". Our answer was "not", and we left. I have never encountered any restauranteur who was ruder. My husband and I came here for our Anniversary. They accept reservations, so this was a selling point to us on top of it being Italian. So many places these days don't cook their meals entirely from scratch. Well you can bet this place does. From the bread to the garlic infused oil all the way to the desserts. Worst experience ever. Made a reservation for dinner. Injured myself couldn't go so we called to inquire about takeout. Was told fine takes about 30-45 minutes. Book it on open table. Told it would be ready at X. Wife-goes to pick up not ready go wait for 15 minutes. I call can't get through. When I do they hang up on me. We went for a birthday dinner and we were disappointed. While the appetizer stuffed mushrooms and clams were very good, our pasta with short ribs was not. The meat was okay, surprisingly sliced rather than shredded, but the rigatoni pasta was cold, hard and cemented together. It looked like it had been cooked several days ago. Desserts were huge and good and our waiter was great. But for these prices you expect an Italian restaurant to serve fresh, hot pasta, not day old stuff. These two were my first impression to Baciami and I guess I should have known the experience wasn't going to be very good - but I hoped for the best.
