Husband & I spend 3 months in Boynton. one of the first restaurants featuring 'Happy. Hour' that we came upon 3 yrs ago was Baciami's. We met Sal, bartending , at that time and he's still there. Two weeks ago we met Malcolm, and Stormy. We love their Happy Hour menu, and beverage offerings.. large portions too. It fits into our lifestyle .. time wise and convenient location. It's decor reflects European elegance, but the conversation at and around the bar is lively. For many people it's their 'go to' destination. If you're looking for someplace new to try.. Give Baciami's a 'go'!

The dimly lit steak house, especially when decorated for Christmas, was a perfect choice for date night. We opt for the usual old fashions that was well made and really got the night started. The pesto gnocchi and chicken parmesan was bursting with so much flavor and perfectly cooked. Absolutely delicious. The portions were large and in my opinion, shareable for 2. A cannoli for dessert ended the night sweetly. Two thumbs up for Baciami

01-31-2025 Still a wonderful place to eat, but once you're outside the Happy Hour scene, the service isn't quite as good, isn't quite as fast, and the food is definitely not quite worth what they charge for it.

Great atmosphere and service....zero complaints as this place is beautiful. The food is all respectable but extremely overpriced. Get there early for happy hour at the bar and then it would be totally worth it. The manhattan was the star....made perfectly.

Our dinner experience was absolutely phenomenal!!! We sat at the bar and simply can't say enough about how AMAZING both bartenders "Sal and Matt" were. They served us with excellent service, friendly smiles and made our time there extra special!!! Additionally, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and prices are FABULOUS!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Baciami is an intimate restaurant. The lighting is very low and makes for a good date night. We went on a Wednesday and they had live music playing which was loud but not too loud. Our waiter was great. He helped us pick a bottle of wine and let us know the specials. They have an ayce crab special going on for $99pp. I had the filet mignon and while it was good, it could have used a little more seasoning. The baked clams were delicious! My friend enjoyed his lobster, calamari and crab cake. They brought out desert with a sparkler for his birthday which was a nice surprise. Overall I would recommend for date night or just to treat yourself!

Do u have outside seating that is dry while raining?

There was no outside searing that was visible. Inside, the music is terribly LOUD and for whatever reason, they will not lower the volume. That is why we never returned.

The roaring fire added ambience; it doesn't happen often in south Florida but on this "frigid" night the fire was really needed. We started at the bar with a few drinks including the Dr. No, and then moved to our table, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was Saturday night, 8:30 pm and the restaurant was quite full. I always get the wedge salad and I especially like NM's version with avocado and a thick, creamy blue cheese dressing (but not overpowering everything else). Also, their empanadas are renown and we love their chimichurri sauce. I highly recommend them. We also tried the daily pasta which was good. For mains, we really went for it with the 16 oz Ribeye, quite a large serving that we didn't finish and took home with us (see picture). The steak was pretty straight up - just a well-cooked delicious piece of meat. I had heard people rave about the veal chop so I decided to try it and was happy I did; also a rather large piece of meat (bone-in) with melted cheese and a light sauce - probably one of the best veal chops I've had (which we also took home with us). Nicholson Muir does great sides - we got the creamed spinach which was not overly creamy and the truffle fries, thin-style with a nice crunch. For dessert, the bread pudding (with a birthday candle) was very good - the ice cream portion was gone in split seconds. Excellent service with our main server and other servers attending to us making sure everything was great and delicious.

I ordered the teriyaki bowl with chicken and it had no teriyaki flavor or sauce anywhere. The chicken was probably slightly marinated but I wish it tasted more like teriyaki. The grilled salmon was tasty but the poached egg that came with the Brussels sprout Cesar was full of water and undercooked so I literally didn't even eat it. The strawberry lemonade was 80% water, stick with the hangover cure. The hangover cure was very refreshing. The servers split the tips so they were all pretty helpful and attentive. Probably a good spot for cocktails but I went with my grandma so virgin drinks were the way to go. All in all I'd be back for a cocktail and the fries. The food is also pretty pricey. $11 French fries, $9 for a non-alcoholic beverage. Also when I went, the menu was limited. They weren't serving any of the 'Shareables'. I went at 3pm on a Sunday so you'd think this is prime time to have a full menu available. Service 9/10 Food 6/10 Location & ambiance 8/10 Would I go back? Yes. I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude
