Parking at spectrum can be very difficult depending on what time you are there and there is a chance that you will have to walk a good amount to get to this location from where you park. There is no seating available inside but there are some tables outside. We went on a weekend and tried to order 2 cinnamon pretzels. They didn't notify us until after we paid that they were out of those pretzels at the time and their solution was to have us either opt for a plain pretzel, an almond pretzel, or wait 10 minutes for them to make more. We asked if we could just change the order and pay the difference to upgrade to pretzel bites, but they were unable to do that. We ended up waiting for the fresh pretzels and they were very apologetic about it. Despite just being made, the pretzels were fairly hard and chewy. Went to Auntie Anne's on Tuesday because T-Mobile had an offer for a free original pretzel. I wasn't able to redeem the free pretzel myself, but my sister was able to, so we still ended up stopping by. We ordered the Sweet Almond Pretzel, Pepperoni Bites, plus both the cheese dip and marinara. The original pretzel was honestly the highlight of this visit. Since they were making them fresh for the T-Mobile promotion, it came out warm, soft, buttery, and reminded me why it's such a classic favorite. The Sweet Almond Pretzel was good, but we felt like it almost needed a dip to help balance the sweetness -- although adding one might have made it too sweet overall. It still had really nice flavor, just depends on your sweetness preference. The Pepperoni Bites were pretty much what you'd expect. They're solid, but definitely one of those items that can vary depending on freshness. When they're freshly made and not sitting, they're really good. Overall, it was a great midday snack -- perfect for that in-between lunch and dinner craving. Stopped by this location at the Irvine Spectrum the other night to try the new confetti nuggets. The store is small but you can't miss it because when you walk by it smells delicious. They didn't have any made so it was about a ten minute wait which was perfectly fine for fresh bites. The confetti nuggets were actually quite tasty. Perfectly buttery (grab some napkins) and the sprinkles balance out the butter. The bites were fluffy and not overwhelming, some of the ones at the bottom were a little doughy though. Definitely overpriced (about $11)but that's to be expected at this point. I'm glad I tried it but don't see myself clamoring to come back for this particular item. read more

The sweet pretzels are just dipped in a coating, in my case it was a cinnamon and sugar mixture. It was just ok taste wise, and at roughly 1.5 times the size of a bagel, it is really EXPENSIVE and over priced. Overall the pretzel was just ok. However, the cost is ridiculous for what you get. I'd like to point out also that the pretzels are not made to order. I'm not sure how this place can justify the cost. I think $1.50 would be a fair price. read more

I purchased a couple of standard soft pretzels yesterday, and I have to confess being quite underwhelmed. First of all, paying over five bucks for a soft pretzel seemed rather preposterous. I'm sure the greedy Irvine Company is soaking the shop unmercifully, which has to be part of the issue, but still... And I was disappointed in the product. It was certainly fresh and warm. But most soft pretzels have virtually no open space among the pretzel loops. This was, for want of a better term, scrawny, as if the dough never had risen to fill the space. After a day of meetings and a brief stint at the Spectrum, I was starting to get hungry and thirsty. The pretzels looked enticing and I hadn't had a pretzel in a while so I opted to get one as a snack. I noticed someone sitting outside with pretzel sticks so I got the combo with the cheese sauce.
