Gotta admit, the social media advertising worked on me with that picture of the Orange Creamsicle drink... had to go try it. It did not disappoint! It's not on the shake menu so if you order from the kiosk you have to look under floats. Got the float and some french fries because they are "Bobby approved". The fries are darn good and remind me of the old school bobs big boys fries. We will have to go back and try some more things. Service was fast and friendly. Located right near the theater so maybe sneak some Fries into a movie. Your choice if you want to order from a kiosk or at the counter. Nice option for introverts like me.
My daughter realllly wanted to have dinner at Shake Shack so we stopped by to grab food before heading home after a long day at the Spectrum. There's self order kiosks which made it super convenient for us to place our order, pay with a cc, grab a number, and find a seat where they would bring the food out to your table. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available but it really was difficult to find a CLEAN place to sit because there were either food crumbs all over the table or sauce on the seats. For 2 single patty burgers, 2 mac & cheese, 2 fries, 2 drinks and 1 milk shake, the total came out to about $80. It was an okay experience but my kids were happy.

Will never get tired of Shake Shack!! This location is always popping, but they do a great job about getting the food out quickly while also making everything to order. The food is fresh, the ingredients are great quality, and the service is always friendly. There's plenty of seating inside and outside with kiosks at the front so you can place your order as well to speed things up. I love that they are always adding seasonal items to the menu to help spice things up; you never know what they'll be serving when you walk in. My go-to is the Smoke Shack with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Probably one of my favorite burgers of all time!! Their fries are pretty good and their shakes (as the name suggests) are well renowned and to DIE for!! Now be careful because you order a burger, fries, and a shake and you'll be in a severe coma as your body digests a week's worth of calories in one sitting. Really the only downside to this place is that it's pricy. Other than that, I have truly nothing but high praise for Shake Shack and the consistent standard they set across every location I've been to. Highly recommend you check them out if you haven't before, they blow all the other "fast food" burger chains out of the water!!
order: mushroom burger highlights: - the mushroom burger was beyond amazing, they put cheese inside of the fried mushroom making it so unique - the meat patties are flavorful - the buns are soft and everything is so very filling and blends well together - fast and friendly service, water and ketchup is available inside cons: - a bit smaller than expected - the fried are nothing special and can be skipped IMO overall: would definitely visit again! the mushroom burger was so good, a must order!
Food was solid per usual. Other than in n out it's the cleanest tastiest cheeseburger out there. Fries are indeed a little better than in n out so kudos. Erick and the rest of the staff provided excellent customer service and hospitality. Great location overall.

Finally convinced my coworkers to try Shake Shack, and they were bit disappointed! The restaurant is clean and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of ordering kiosks or you can order up front. The service was fast and friendly and our food came out quickly. I ordered the cheeseburger, cheese fries, and strawberry shake - wow! This is a great destination for comfort food, as the mix of savory and sweet flavors was a real delight! We'll be back to try more burger and shake options sooner than later. Enjoy!

Everything tasted delicious like it always does. One of the rare restaurants where quality doesn't doesn't dip from location to location. We sat inside enjoying the music and AC, it was a good experience and would recommend. The have plenty of outdoor seating too.

I got the shackburger with fries and cheese fries. The burger was decent but it was pretty greasy. The fries were okay, nothing special about it. Overall, the food here is on the pricey side. The food was a bit too greasy for me compared to other burger spots I had. I would eat elsewhere in the Spectrum.

Located at the Irvine spectrum, this spot was easy to access with convenient parking. When you enter, there are multiple ordering kiosk to the left. When placing your order, they have you grab a number from the side, enter it and find a table to place the number on while you wait. Seating inside was limited, but there were plenty of seating in the patio area. Although the restaurant was busy our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. We tried K-Shack BBQ Burger and K-Shack Fried Chicken Bites. The burger was salty, and the chicken bites were bland. Overall, the experience was pretty much what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either.
The Cheese Burger at this Shake Shack location was fine. Good patties to satisfy that hunger pangs. But I was dissatisfied with the Shroom Burger. It could be the cheese used for the stuffing. It's always busy here so it's not an ideal place for a relaxing meal. Feels like it's a rushed kind of place.

Well, bless my heart, this place was GOOD! The burgers were juicy, the fries were crispy, and that shake? Honey, I could've taken a nap afterward I was so full! The food came out fresh, everything tasted delicious, and the whole place had a nice, laid-back feel. Now, was it a little pricier than I expected? Yes ma'am. But did I enjoy every bite? Absolutely! Good food. I've had the burgers here and they're really good. Something about the crispiness of smash burgers, the patty is thick and flavorful, and the vegetables are actually tasty. I love onions on my burgers so I love it here. The actual Big Mac Shack thing is alright. The price is good, it's $10 for a thick double double burger (these are also double sized patties). The sauce was on the side. It was like an onion sauce, it was good. The burger was a little bit salty and I dunno, a little boring. The potato buns they use here are really good though. The chicken sandwich was good. I usually like the chicken more than the burgers, but that's just me. Crinkle fries are great, nice and crispy. Self serve ketchup too, yay. Great experience here and I plan to come back to this place. I almost never get shakes here, but I know everything is good. read more

I've always liked Shake Shack and have been here several times before. But on this last visit with my wife, the food didn't hit the mark. I ordered the ShackBurger and my wife the 'Shroom Burger. The burger was good --- but not as great nor as appetizing looking as I've had in the past. But it hit the spot. My wife's 'Shroom Burger was awful. The description was "crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheese." The portobello definitely wasn't "crisp-fried." It was soggy. And the melted cheese didn't taste like any cheese I've had before. It was something gooey that seemed to have come out of a tube. It really didn't work. Since I ordered at the kiosk, I really didn't have much interaction with the staff. They seemed efficient. And the decor was pleasant with plants --- for a fast food restaurant, generally a nice environment to dine. read more

Sometimes not all new menu items hit, but the Big Mac delivered. At $10 and 1000 calories for one burger, a one and done is justified imo. The burger buns at shake shack are elite. The fries and onion rings are good. Definitely not a fan of the ranch. Tastes more like mayo than ranch, it was kind of weird. What impressed me more about this location was the quick service and how the staff were all hustling to get the food out, wipe down tables, sweep floors while customers were going in and out nonstop. It was a busy Saturday night at the start of the holiday season and I've never seen such efficiency! Even with ordering at the automated station, finding someone to verify ID for a beer wasn't too hard or inconvenient. Plenty of outdoor seating and finding indoor seating wasn't too much of a challenge even with a stroller. With all the amazing food options at spectrum, we were happy and satisfied to have gone with shake shack! read more
If you want to pay $72 for cold burgers, come to Shake Shack at a Saturday night . We placed our order on the self-service iPad, grabbed our own table, and then waited over 25 minutes for our food. We ordered the SmokeShack burger, French Onion Shack, chicken nuggets, a strawberry shake, and a beer. Since the wait was so long, I got up to pick up our drinks first. Their workflow makes no sense, by the time the food finally came out, only the Shroom Burger was hot. Everything else was ice cold, chicken nuggets tasted very oily and double fried. For $72, this is absolutely not the experience I expect. The food wasn't good, there's essentially no service, and they are clearly very short-staffed for the volume of orders they take. I genuinely don't understand why people still come here for burgers. Never again. Bye Shake shack! read more

Party of four on a Saturday around 1 pm. Inside and outside seating available. You can also order your food at the cashier or at the 5 or 6 tablets that they have available as soon as you enter. They weren't extremely busy yet when we came in, but when we left around 2 pm, it was packed. Our table was a bit dirty (No biggie), we cleaned it real quick. A solid 4 stars. Ok In-n-Out lovers..plz don't come at me, but dare I say, I like Shake Shack more. Lol I first had a taste of Shake Shack in Arizona on our fam bam road trips and I've been hooked ever since. Call it love at first bite! Fast forward to 2025 and they now have 2 locations in my vicinity of OC/Cali and I'm sooo STOKED (can't you tell from my gang of burger pics?), you don't even know. My go-to has been the OG ShackBurger with raw, sliced onions. There is just something about their toasted potato bun that hit this Cali girl differently than In-n-Out. It's sooo yums. I love their fresh, made-to-order 100% Angus beef ~ quarter pound patty and that melted American cheese over fresh lettuce & tomato. Mmm..my mouth is legit watering as I write this review. While I ALWAYS order a side of fries with my burger, depending on my mood and hunger level, I sometimes feel fancy and get cheese fries to round out my meal. I just love those crispy crinkle cut fries that have that satisfying soft center. To truly complete my meal, I love their refreshing strawberry lemonade on a hot day. You can really taste the real strawberry puree, perfectly marrying their house-made lemonade. It quenches my thirst every time. While yes, your Shack Shake meal will NEVER compare to your In-n-Out combo prices, however, it's still worth it now and then ~ esp. when I have that fast-food craving, but still want fresh quality ingredients. Truth be told, I would only visit this first Shake Shack location in OC if I was hanging out & strolling around the Spectrum, cuz let's be real..ain't nobody wants to deal with the Spectrum parking madness. This location is in a prime real estate spot on the north side of the Spectrum shopping center, by the Regal movie theater, so you best bet there is lots of foot traffic. Beware..it can get busy during peak lunch/dinner hours! Hands down, 100% RxFoodie recommended fo' sure ~ you need to give it a try yourself, before you knock it! You won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped by for a snack before the movies & it totally hit the spot. I tried their new OC Dreamsicle Shake... sooo yummy! We also had a regular hot dog and it hit the spot as we were having dinner after the movie. Service was fast, cashier could've been friendlier but they were busy so I get it. pretty good, got the double patty burgers and they come with coke! we also got the original fries and a cooke n cream milk shake. the burger is good, but i found it kind of dry. by the end i felt like i was choking on every bite but it was still good. fries were crispy and has great texture, and the milkshake was better than expected. read more
I like that this location is open late, prices are generally moderate, and they often have limited time items available. The burger and chicken sandwich is consistently very good, high quality ingredients, though generally on the smaller side. When ordering make sure to check the custom options. Would also recommend the standard chicken bites. I like that you can order ahead with the app, though the android version has been broken for quite some time. Also, you have to ask about your order at the counter because there isn't any now serving screen or notification and oftentimes no announcement. There are many tables inside and outside for this location. read more
Love the food and the place, but the kiosk for ordering yourself can be a little glitchy. With all that said, the service is fast and the food is always cooked nicely. They also have drinks which I recently found out about which are tasty and sized normal, not too small like other places. We personally love this Shake Shack. We love that its closer to home and we no longer have to drive out to 2nd and PCH. The burgers are not cheap but we always take advantage of the Postmates/Uber Eats BOGO deals. We've had the Avocado Bacon Burger and the SmokeShack Burger. Both are good. Always come out piping hot when we pick it up. A solid quick bite for us whenever we're at the Spectrum. read more
My hubby was craving for a good burger but I was a little hesitant since we just had a big meal of beef at the 7 Courses of Beef restaurant with the family yesterday and wanted to reduce my consumption of red meat. Ended up going to Shake Shack with him. That was a good decision. :) The last time I had a Shake Shack burger was like over 3 years ago when I was in Seoul, Korea, at a mall. Burgers were good and thick. The typical quarter pound. I like the way they cooked it. Perfectly done and not bloody! Fries were good. Can't complain. Only complaint hubby had was their computer ordering system. :) It doesn't have a backspace nor delete key so you can't fix a typo! But it finally worked. Overall, food was good, service pretty much non-existence since they're so busy. Note: The tomato that came with the burger is a special kind, not too small and not too big, and very good. read more

I got a regular triple cheeseburger, one patty regular cheeseburger, fries, and a grilled cheese. Flavor for the food items was great and not too salty and cooked perfectly for the meat. I ordered an Cookies and Cream shake with whip cream, and the receipt was placed directly on top of the whip cream which I thought was a bit unsanitary, instead of putting it off to the side on the tray or underneath the drink. It also needed to be blended a bit better as the cookie chunks got stuck in the straw so it made it difficult to drink through. read more

For what it's worth, I think this Shake Shack is better than the one in Long Beach, which I previously rated 3 stars, but my overall experience was still lacking that I can't quite give this location a 4th star. I was planning to watch a movie at Regal Irvine Spectrum, which is conveniently next to Shake Shack. I received an email a few days prior that gave me a promo code for a free Avocado Bacon Burger with a $10+ purchase. The morning of the day I was planning my afternoon getaway to Irvine, I got another email from Shake Shack with the same deal, but a different promo code! This promo code expired earlier and was pretty generic that I'm certain it could be used a multitude of times, even by the same customer. I hadn't been to Irvine Spectrum before, and when I parked my car in a parking garage next to Target, I realized that Shake Shack was on the opposite side of the shopping center! Not wanting to go through the trouble of finding parking again, I decided to make the ~10 minute walk across Irvine Spectrum. There are a few places that show directions to various businesses, Shake Shack being one of them, so it wasn't too difficult to find Shake Shack. I'm sure if I had made a wrong turn, a sign would have directed me to Shake Shack, or at least the nearby Regal. Upon entering, I saw a few kiosks to the left and a pickup counter in front of me. I initially discerned that we could only order via the kiosk, and so that's what I did. With the kiosk, you can customize burgers to your liking, like adding certain toppings or utilizing a different bun. Of course, if I was getting the Avocado Bacon Burger for free with $10+ purchase, I had to add the Avocado Bacon Burger to my order. I requested pickles, lettuce, tomato, sliced onions, and a side of ShackSauce, all at no additional charge. There was also an option for "Well Done", and I checked that even though I generally prefer "Medium Well" instead. For the $10+ purchase, it took me a while to decide, but I settled for the Shroom Burger, which uses a fried portobello mushroom as the patty, and the mushroom contains cheese. The base price is $9.99, so I had to add an upgrade, cherry peppers for 49 cents in this case, to make $10. I didn't remember seeing options for lettuce or tomato on the Shroom burger, but I made sure to add the other complimentary toppings. I had an e-gift card to use, but I couldn't find a way to use it. I was then trying to use a card that didn't have a chip, but I couldn't find a way to swipe it in the card reader, which I discerned could only take chip cards. So then I had to use a chip card to pay. After placing my order, I noticed a line by the pickup counter with an employee taking orders, flustering me a little because if I had known I could place my order there, I would have tried. But then again, I'm not sure they would have told me about the complimentary toppings that I had requested on the kiosk. I was anxiously waiting for my order while trying to find an unoccupied table, either inside or in one of their two outdoor patios. It still wasn't enough to accommodate all the customers dining on this early Sunday afternoon! Actually, I did see a table open up, and I really wanted to tell them to hurry up with my order so I could eat there. Unfortunately, other customers who got their order(s) first claimed that table. Ugh! Once I got my order after about 14 minutes of waiting, I took my takeout bag outside, but couldn't find any empty tables, except for a couple just outside the front door, but with no chairs. I legitimately would have considered taking one of those tables and just standing to eat, potentially becoming an eyesore to passersby, but I luckily saw an open table in the shaded outdoor patio! Actually, there were three open tables right next to one another that when I sat down first, another customer asked me if he and his friends could sit at the tables next to me. And then moments later, a kid asked me if he could take the chair directly across from me. I wasn't using it, but I hope he returned that promptly. It would have helped significantly if Irvine Spectrum Center had generic tables and chairs for patrons of any eatery there. Luckily, the burgers themselves tasted good, though I would not say $20+ good since the normal price of both would have been well over $20 with tax. The ShackSauce was so thick that I couldn't pour them out of the cups. I wanted to keep my hands clean, but it would have been hard to if I'm dipping the burgers into the sauce cups. Also, each of the two burgers had a piece of onion dangling outside the box, one even touching the table when I set the box down! It was hard to keep the burgers in one piece, but I did like the overall flavor of both burgers, especially in conjunction with the ShackSauce. However, I probably won't return to this Shack, especially if it's usually this crowded. read more

Third time was not the charm. The tablets seemed to be having issues, so while everyone was giving up and getting in line at the counter, I placed an online order for a couple of drinks. Walked around and went back to the counter at the time my order was supposed to be ready. I could see a drink order that looked like mine in a drink carrier on the rack. Gave my name to the woman at the counter who looked at the carrier on the rack and then told me that my order wasn't ready. I hadn't received a text, so I waited five more minutes, which was at the end of the window that my order was supposed to be ready. Checking online, I could see that my order was completed. Once again, I gave my name to the same woman. She checked with the people fulfilling orders, who said they didn't have it and then looked at that carrier on the rack again. She told me my order wasn't ready. My husband asked, "Are you SURE that's not our order?" She looked again. It WAS our order the whole time. "Wait. I'll get you a replacement, she responded. I thought she was going to replace the drinks because they had gotten watered down by the melting ice but instead she got a new drink carrier because the other one had gotten soggy. She didn't even apologize. I HATE giving bad reviews but this was ridiculous. Having worked at a restaurant, I know customer service is key. I've apologized to many customers for things that were not my fault. But to not even apologize when she clearly messed up? WTF? I'm sorry I left a tip. I wish I could take it back. read more

I had a triple cheeseburger which the burger was really good, buns didn't hold up well with 3 patties. Tried the spicy cheese ranch fries it was ok, can't go wrong with crinkle fries. Tried the s'mores shake was sooo good. read more
