They use Tallow to fry their food, and you can taste the difference! I hate any kind of oil, so using Tallow made my food taste better! They have Gluten items available. We got a lounge burger and an impossible burger, both were delicious. Made to order, fresh and had just the right amount of char that gave that incredible crisp just off the grill taste. When we arrive around 6 on a weekday, it was not busy, and we got our food within just a few minutes. The shop is very clean and comfy seating. The only thing I have an issue with is value. It's just not a lot of burger for what you pay for. I'm not comparing to McD's or BK, definitely getting less than half that you could get at those large franchises, but even Shake Shack seems more reasonable, better value and where I would choose, especially with their app. Burger lounge is just not a place where I would be willing to pay a premium, but I guess I'm not really their target customer anyway. read more

Every once a while I crave a good burger with some fries. Luckily thie Burger Lounge is only a few minutes away from my daily drive home. They serve grass fed burgers and chicken sandwiches here. Just going over the menu they have a lot of different options but I always like trying something that's just a simple classic burger, so I tried their Bacon Bleu Burger with some mixed sides (onion rings, and fries). The burger comes in a nice brioche with sesame seeds and stacked nicely. I certainly enjoyed the burger and it had a nice flavor with the blue cheese and the bacon making it nice and smoky. Fries were good but the onion rings were just ok. They do charge for a small paper ramekin of sauces and ranch. Jackson famously said in Pulp Fiction: "This is a tasty burger!" Now, since it's a premium burger place, I kinda expected the interior to feel a bit more upscale. We have stopped by at this particular location thinking that we will have a great experience, because we have had a bad experience before at the different location. We have ordered our food and drinks, when it came to paying we were disappointed to find out that the gift card ( issued by customer service) for our previous bad experience did not have any funds on it. It was a ridiculous and bizarre situation that we cannot believe how incompetent their customer service is, so disappointed about today's situation, instead of fixing their previous bad experience, now they made it even worse. The food was great and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The real shame is that this company has such a great product, but they don't know how to conduct business. I love the paleo burger options from Burger Lounge and it has been my go-to option for healthier eating (when my wallet permits). To me the paleo option is very fulfilling! But once in awhile I do opt for the Lounge burger & it is pretty tasty too. My 2 favorite non-beef options are the Ancient Grain or the Alaskan Cod. BUT recently my colleague told me to try the Daily Greens Salad with the added protein. I did so with the Grilled Alaskan Cod. What a great choice! It is refreshing & not so heavy! I know this isn't healthy but I LOVE onion rings! Their seasoning is different & unlike anywhere else I have had. Usually my colleague & I would split an order. I've tried their lavender-mint and hibiscus lemonade - not fond of either. Something is odd with the mixture. So typically I just stick with water! I don't always come to BL cuz TBH it is not cheap. Paleo Burger + side + drink + tax/tip can easily rack up the bill easily to $25+. If one orders just a regular simple burger + water & nothing else then the cost is more manageable. The staff there all has been pretty friendly. It is not a full service restaurant so you order at the counter. The cashier provides you a number for the table you would like to grub at (indoor or outdoor). Then they'll bring it out to you. Food does come out in a very timely manner. I never had to wait too long. Oh just beware of sitting outside - the "little" birds are vicious & they dive bombs on the diners. Deceptive practices and employees who were not forthcoming! Went in yesterday at lunch. The credit card machines were down and the server asked me to pay cash, but just then thankfully, the machines came up. My order was taken, total announced, slid my card, gave a tip, and I got my receipt, and just then I was told it didnt go through and I would have to pay again. I paused, but I slid my card through again, got my receipt and again they said it didn't work. At this point, I'm getting nervous, and another employee is coming over to help. They let me know I haven't been charged, but it doesn't feel right and they are asking me to slide my card a third time. I ask questions about it. They assure me that nothing has been charged yet on my card. So I pay for my single meal a third time, and it goes through. I then take a seat and wait for my food. While doing so, I check my bank statement, and I was actually charged twice. I was double billed. When the server brings the food to me, she says, yeah I knew that, but he (meaning the other employee) wasn't explaining it to you right. So I asked, when I will be reimbursed and she said probably in a day or two. Completely disrespectful. Poor customer service. Not only were the credit card machines not working, but even worse both employees were deceptive about it throughout our interaction, allowing me to believe I was only charged once, when in fact they knew I was charged twice, and they purposefully didn't tell me.
