My Father & I absolutely love Arcaro & Genell's! It is always on the top in Old Forge . Right when you walk in the door, The ambience is second to none. The service is tremendous and you won't leave hungry. The food is homemade and delicious! Kuddos to the staff and owners, they work their tails off!

We visited recently with family. They were take out only but my in-laws pulled some strings for indoor seating. This place was great and a shame they aren't doing indoor seating again. I felt like I was in the godfather. In summer they even have bocce courts outside that look like a blast. Service was amazing with constant refills and even some canolis on the house. I really enjoyed the anti pasta to start, pizza was an appetizer and I had the veal parm as the main entree. I ate so much it hurt ... literally. Their old forge pizza is okay in my book although I like others in the area way more. Their sauce/gravy had great flavor. The veal parm was okay but not something I'd order again. My wife got a delmonico and it was the real star. Others in our group got a white cioppino which they loved.

I was in the mood for pizza and stopped in this restaurant. I called in my order and got the plain slices. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and told the lady my name. I then paid and left. When I dug in the pizza was ok. I definitely had to add pepper. All in all I had an ok experience!

Passing thru had to see if it's really pizza capital. Pizza isn't amazing but it isn't horrible. Somewhere in between. Covering it in red pepper flakes & Parmesan def helped. Likes how they had fresh baked goods. Cool town. Love the vibe there. But would go out of my way to try this pizza again. Staff was friendly

We were traveling from TX for a wedding. My husband grew up in NEPA & told me I needed to try Old Forge pizza. Because we were traveling they even let us sit in the restaurant. Everyone was super nice & friendly. The pizza was AMAZING!!! & to top it off, they gave us 2 cannolis, which were really delicious . We'd definitely recommend!!!

Always a stop when I'm in town! Their pizza is always phenomenal. Although I do miss their indoor seating.

I have to say BIG disappointment!!!!!!! The mussels were not washed, sand was all thru the marinara sauce. The clams casino, one of the worst things I have ever had-old refrigerator taste as well. Inedible!!!! The white pizza was underdone, but OK. The pizza with sausage was foul and way underdone. We had one bite and left everything on the outside table. The counter person said we only have 1 person working and could not doing anything about it. Such a disappointing experience.

While I have enjoyed using goldbelly. They recently delivered frozen dumplings late at night after our family was asleep. In the morning, they were a pile of goo. Totally unsalvageable. So, there was not nearly enough dry ice, and the delivery window for frozen food was unrealistic. I simply asked for goldbelly to replace the item. I didn't ask for a refund even, just a replacement. They refused to do so. That is not an acceptable business practice and so I will no longer use them.

Simply the best tray of pizza in all of Old Forge. It is a very cool place and gets very busy quickly.

Has anyone ordered from Goldbely.com? I want a white pizza shipped. I'm wondering if the white pizzas from Goldbely are the stuffed white pizzas. I'm hoping they are. Description reads: 1 “WHITE” Style Pizza: A square, double crust cheese only.

GOLDBELLY IS A RIP OFF! OVERPRICED, AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS! FedEx delivered my order to the wrong address, Goldbelly was impossible to communicate with. My food…

I did something stupid and I have zero regrets…read more I knew it was stupid. The waitress knew it was stupid. As did everyone at the bar. And you know what? I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Many years ago, I went on a little tour of Old Forge pizza. We tried the red. We tried the white. We went to the famous places. We went to the dives. But somehow we never made it to Anthony's? Maybe it was their hours? Maybe it was because the Old Forge white was not available by the cut? It's hard to say. But what I know for sure is that I came out of the tour with a deep abiding love for Old Forge white with broccoli. IMHO it needs the broccoli. Regrettably, my old favorites for white with broccoli have fallen from grace, which is a loss. But the silver lining is that I have found Anthony's and their white broccoli is amazing! An entire white broccoli pie is a staggering quantity of food. So when I walked up to the bar as a solo diner, and placed my order of a white broccoli pie for here, the waitress looked a little uneasy and paused for a moment. In the pause, I acknowledged that I knew I was ordering enough food for a crew, and that I expected to be taking much of it home. It also takes a staggeringly long time to bake something that large in an oven. And I knew that going in. So I nursed my Yuengling, and even took a few nibbles of bread and butter that were brought out while I waited. I have to say, that first bite just had me swooning, and I don't swoon easily. The top crust was beautifully seasoned with herbs, spices, and onions. The bottom crust was golden and crisp. The cheese was oozing and broccoli was bursting forth. Please, please, please eat this pizza in the restaurant. It's glorious when it first comes out of the oven. The longer it sits, the less crisp the bottom becomes. Trust me. It's worth it. With the beer, tip, and taxes, the whole thing set me back $33. Obviously there were leftovers too. My original plan had been to offer cuts of the pie to other folks at the bar, but by the time I got there, everyone had already eaten, so I wasn't able to give away a single cut. So it goes. And I did push myself to eat more than I should have. Slice one was a revelation. Slice two a delight. Slice three felt more like a dare. And slice four? That was pure hubris. I only got a couple of bites in and then I had to tap out. But I wanted to tackle at least half of the pie on premise. So it goes. I learned something about myself that night, but more importantly, I discovered a new Old Forge institution, to which I am looking forward to returning time and time again. P.S. I should note I saw lots of food come out, and really all the portions are huge. Just like I could have split this with a couple other folks, the same is true for every dish was brought to the bar.

From the minute we walked in we were welcomed warmly, questions were answered thoughtfully, and we were treated very well. A+ for customer service. We ordered two entrees and a side of pasta. Each entree came with a cup of soup or a side salad. I got the mushroom bisque and my husband got the salad. He was torn between two dressings, house or strawberry vinaigrette. The waitress said, I'll bring you both! The only negative thing i have to say is that there was a charge on our bill for the second salad dressing! Ouch! Truth is, we enjoyed the food and service so much, we didn't complain. If we had, I'm sure they would have removed it. While we were waiting the brought soft Italian bread in a basket with butter and Parmesan cheese. The soup and salad arrived quickly with a complimentary couple of slices of their signature square pizza-which was piping hot and delicious! All the food arrived hot which is one of my favorite things. It's a pet peeve of mine when hot food arrives Luke warm or cold. Hot food should arrive hot so another A+!! My husband had chicken Marsala and penne pasta - and a second bread basket to sop up the Marsala sauce. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't finish! I had the lasagna which was baked in its own dish and was huge. We shared a side of fettuccini Alfredo which was so creamy and smooth and made with home made pasta! We asked the server if she could put the bread remains into out doggie bag and she gave us a fresh serving of bread and butter! All items were boxed and then wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent leaking! A nice touch - she remembered we were traveling. It would have been easy for her to disregard us as one time customers but they were so good to us! We will definitely be returning! Annual (or more frequent?) trip to Poconos!

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu, and every dish was outstanding. Honestly, it's hard to choose a favorite because everything was so good. Even our kids said they felt like they were back in Italy. They especially loved the pizza. The food itself was tasty, not the best Italian I've had in the area, but it was good. It being cold and chaotic though, sort of ruined the experience. They are new to this building and maybe newer staff, so hopefully as they settle in this will figure itself out!
