9 of us decided to go and and get some breakfast at the Morrisville location. It was not very crowded when we went and our server was nice enough to combine two tables to let all of us sit together. We ordered several mocktails and coffee and everything was so yummy. I ordered the skinny omelette with fruits. My family ordered, buttermilk pancake, waffles. My kid ordered gumbo with chicken and waffle. My partner ordered the bourbon street pancake. We also ordered Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes and The Supreme Omelette The ambience was nice and cozy and we really had a lot of fun , restaurant was not very quiet and full with the family conversations, all in all it was a very delicious yummy food and a nice cozy place for all of us to sit and enjoy. There are a few things that we were not able to try that I'll be back for

A easy no-fuss go to spot for brunch. The parking is plentiful. There is minimum wait times and crowds. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The service is fast, the food is fresh and good. I went with a blackberry mule as a cocktail and this was delicious. I enjoyed the power bowl which has scrambled eggs mixed with country ham, onions and tomatoes over Cheddar Jack cheese grits. It came with country sausage gravy but I asked for that on the side. There was also baked bacon and a large biscuit with the bowl. I really enjoyed the bowl. Very filling. The biscuit was really good and fluffy. I do recommend Another Broken Egg. If you're in a rush they do have an option to get on their wait list.

Kathy was our server today and she is always ever so courteous. I love her energy. The hostess complimented me, so a great start to the morning. The Hey Lucy omelet is so good! The chorizo makes it especially good, and adding a bit of Tabasco is . The ambiance of the restaurant is always clean, although the seats are a little worn. I've come here so many times and always have rave reviews.

Great brunch spot! The staff was welcoming from the moment we arrived. I also loved that there were plenty of seating options since it's a spacious space. The food was just as good as the service.

Had some errands to run in the area and decided to treat myself to some breakfast. After being promptly seated, I was greeted so very enthusiastically by Kaiden, who had fantastic recommendations! I decided on her favorite seasonal entree--the French Toast Colada. It was so good! I also ordered scrambled eggs and the house made sausage patties, which were both delicious. I was super impressed by the flavor profile of the patties and will definitely order them again! And maybe I'm getting old, but I really appreciated the music being played at a volume that was loud enough to hum along to, but not too loud that I couldn't eavesdrop on other diners' conversations around me... :)

The 30 minute wait was a bit long, but it was a Sunday afternoon. We went browsing in the shopping center nearby while waiting for our text to let us know our table was ready. My chicken and waffles were good, particularly the mouth-watering waffles!!! Chicken was good but Man, look! My daughter said her Cookie Dough Waffle was "mid" but she is a tween who is fairly hard to please and she ate a considerable amount of it. LOL The waitress was nice. The place was packed. Best brunch I've had in Cary/Morrisville (not that I've tried that many places since I'm technically a newbie here but this was really good!). Next visit I'm going for Strawberry Pound Cake Waffles or Shrimp and Grits! Those Bourbon Street pancakes sound pretty yummy too with bananas, pecans, and rum butter drizzle!

Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch with friends and we were seated right away. The service was just ok. Our waitress was inattentive, and after taking our orders I didn't not see her again until she brought the checks. Although the restaurant wasn't completely full, most of the tables were occupied and it was pretty loud inside. I ordered the traditional day starter with poached eggs, chicken sausage, and potatoes. The eggs were nicely cooked and the potatoes were well seasoned. No complaints about the meal itself, but I do think the service and prices could be improved. My friends were shocked that the plain, black coffee they ordered was $4 for a single cup, which I agree is quite pricey.

Popped in to this cafe for breakfast before getting on the road. We loved it! Both my sons said they'd be frequent visitors if this was in our area. Our server, Suki was a lot of fun and very attentive during the meal. I had the shrimp Benny. Oh my! It was wonderful! It's a very light but filling dish which is great for driving. We tried the beignets. They were warm and delicious. I loved the honey marmalade. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The soups got rave reviews. My daughter had the chicken tortilla soup and my son had the Louisiana gumbo. Portion sizes were perfect.

The restaurant was great and the service was great. The waitress apologized up front because they were short staffed in the kitchen. We had a party of four. My omelette was not good AT ALL. The others ordered the apple fritter pancakes, apricot pancakes, and French toast and they were all delicious. I can't say don't order it because it might be a one off. Just know I was terribly disappointed.

For our last breakfast in NC my daughter and I wanted to go big or go home, so we stopped in at Another Broken Egg and all I can say is...YUM! We arrived mid-morning on a Saturday, expecting a long wait. Luckily we got there just in time, as we were seated immediately. By the time we left, though, there was a big crowd lining up for their brunch. We started off with coffee and then ordered our breakfasts. I ordered shrimp 'n grits and my daughter ordered crabcake benedict. We also ordered a side of their biscuit beignets. The food was all phenomenal. The shrimp 'n grits was perfectly seasoned, and included not only plenty of shrimp but lots of big hunks of andouille sausage too. The grits were gooey, ooey, and cheesy. I've had grits back home in the PNW before and I just have to say, they aren't anything like the ones I enjoyed here. My daughter also enjoyed her benedict, though was not a big fan of her side of grits (I suppose this is mostly because of her sheltered PNW upbringing)! We loved the biscuit beignets, which were served with a side of tasty homemade-tasting marmalade. Initially our beignet order was forgotten, but as soon as our server realized this she quickly brought out a steaming hot order for us to enjoy. Speaking of our server, in general the service here was phenomenal! Not only was our server friendly and attentive, but the manager stopped by a couple of times to check on us. That's always something I appreciate and I liked that he took the time to truly care for how our experience was going. This would be a 5-star experience for me except I felt their prices were pretty high. Especially for mimosas and bloody marys - I would have loved to enjoy one, but they were almost the same price as my entree! However, I will definitely come back here if I'm ever in the area again.

Stopped for a quick bite for breakfast the other day. Ate at the bar. My waitress was super friendly and very attentive. The music playing was from the 80's which I loved. It wasn't super busy which was nice. I had the chilaquiles with the fried potatoes and the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. The chilaquiles was so full of flavor. Definitely Recommend. The pancakes were lightly sweet and refreshing with the hint of lemon. Give em a shot next time you're feeling like a delicious breakfast!

I'm surprised this place has only 3.5 star rating. I wasn't sure to expect mostly because I am not an egg person and I went there wanting a traditional breakfast, but it was their coffee choices that lured me in. When I arrived I see on the door they were short staffed and wait time could be longer. I went in anyway because wait time didn't matter to me. When I got inside I was told it would be a long wait but I could sit at the bar to order if I wanted. I went to the bar. The bartender was attentive and promptly took care of me by handing me a menu and asked if I wanted coffee. I requested a glass of water and looked at the menu. I ordered the traditional breakfast with a cafe amore. The coffee was excellent. You can't go wrong with bourbon in my book. And, for a traditional breakfast I was pleasantly surprised it was not greasy!! I was able to butter my own English muffins and the potatoes were exceptionally good. That is coming from someone who would toss their potatoes in the garbage at any meal as a kid if I thought I could. The bartender checked on me a few times but otherwise let me eat and read in peace. He got tipped big for that reason! All in all is go back. I'm not a huge meal eater but I ate all but half of the scrambled eggs which is saying a lot, this place needs more than 3.5 stars. I hope others will give it a try and do better.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, which is always a bonus on a busy weekend. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. Great spot if you're looking for a tasty meal and quick service--I'll definitely be back!"

Ask the Community - Another Broken Egg Cafe

Do they offer bottomless mimosa deals at all?

No. They offer different features for the season but definitely not bottomless mimosas.

Do they have a private room where we could host a baby shower?

They have an offset area they could possibly reserve. Not a separate room, but it could work.

The space is spacious and inviting, with plenty of freshly baked bread, pastries, and other tempting goodies on display. We ordered two items: Poulet au Fromage ($16.90) -- Focaccia loaded with herb-roasted chicken, cheddar cheese, Applewood bacon, tomato, and herb mayo. This sandwich was plentiful, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. Every bite was packed with delicious ingredients! Chocolate Almond Croissant ($6.31) -- Belgian chocolate and almond fondant wrapped inside a wonderfully flaky croissant and topped with roasted almonds. This was an absolute treat. The Chocolate Almond Croissant is simply to die for! While enjoying our food, I couldn't help eyeing the scones, along with their beer and wine selection. Helpful service in a nicely decorated small cafe, a nice stop for getting a morning going. The Deets: Deciding to venture out a bit to try some place new, I found Morning Ritual on the trusty Yelp app and headed off to there. It is joined along side The Goat restaurant on the edge of an apartment complex campus near Brier Creek. I like the look of the building and while noticing there is outside seating available, there is a convenient take out window on the side as well. I went inside and liked the warm, inviting but still slightly modern look of the cafe style seating and ordering area. There are a couple of seats within range of a power outlet and there is WiFi but note it is public/no password/unsecured access, it appears. Their menu shows a good array of beverages and eats to satisfy those morning needs. I decided on a 16 oz hot skim latte to drink to enjoy there and then ordered the Egg + Cheese Scramble which has Monterey Jack and Cheddar and served with one of their biscuits. You order and pay at the register/counter then they give you a table number to take to your seat. My beverage came in well enough time to enjoy while I waited on my food order. My latte was so good that I had no need for additions such as sweetener or syrups and I like the mug with it to enjoy in house. Food came in good time as well, looking pretty tempting. The toasted biscuit was good and I liked it but a tad small bit sweet for a Southern type biscuit (the type that I'm used to/grown up with enjoying). The scramble was really great...I usually do not favor getting cheese in my scrambled eggs but everything was delicious here and perfect texture as well as portion on the eggs themselves in a small cafe setting. There's always that challenge in a new coffee shop/cafe in figuring out their used dishes protocol/station but loved that my server saw me searching and happily took my dishes at the counter for me. I enjoyed this first visit to Morning Ritual and can see me visiting in the future, I like it.

The service not so much!…read more To be fair I ordered my coffee with my breakfast at The Goat (the restaurant that Morning Ritual shares the building with) but the coffee is listed on The Goat's menu, so they need to get in sync. Our breakfast ended up coming out before coffee, which made no sense. I had to ask about the coffees before they were actually made. When the girl came from morning ritual She brought out my husbands, hot cappuccino but my mocha out iced and I immediately said I don't drink cold coffee and I did an order iced. Instead of being apologetic, and stating that she would change it, she just snatched the iced coffee and walked away. That was such a strange encounter. It was rude and I got no apology, nor did I get any explanation of what would happen next. I let my server know to ensure I was still going to get a coffee because I can't live without my coffee in the morning! When my Moca loved her honey, oat milk, coffee came I took a sip and was glad i didn't flip out and say "forget the coffee" (as I was already done with breakfast by the time in arrived) because the drink was delicious! If I'm ever back in the area (I was staying in Raleigh but decided to take a little detour into Durham that morning) I'll come to only Morning Ritual to see if I can change this 3 star review for service issues into a 5. For now they need to work on getting coffee service to The Goat streamlined!

They were doing everything right, even down to the Dr Brown's, and they had ZERO flavors too. There is a meat and cheese counter,r but most of the length of the shop is pastries, cakes, pies, es and other beautiful-looking treats. We ordered our sandwiches; I had an Italian sub, and it was just ok, kind of dry and lacking in flavor; frankly, Jersey Mike's makes a better Italian. But my wife got theReubenn, and it was simply the best Reuben we've had outside of Katz in NYC. I order Rueben's all the time, and I'm consistently disappointed. Most are dried out, have too little meat, and the corned beef is often dry, but not in this case. The sandwich was truly worthy, and we are ready to go back and have it again. Moist, flavorful meat, a generous portion, and the dressing andkraut weres well balanced. The bread was grilled, not toasted, and was itself rich and flavorful. Altogether, it is a Reuben worth driving a distance to have it. We are already planning to come back and try some of the baked goods, but also get the Reuben again too.

This place was really good. It was priced a bit on the high side for a sub...kinda like they kept…read morethe New York or Chicago prices once they setup shop in NC....but not absurdly expensive. It is mostly self service. You order at the counter standing up, they give you a number that you place on your table and they bring your food out. You are responsible for your own drinks and bussing your table. The drink fountains are all inside as far away from the patio as they could possibly be which is an unfortunate design choice. I got the New Yorker full size. It was good. I ate the entire thing and was pretty full, I probably could have had half. For a side I got the macaroni salad and it was nothing special, I'd try something else next time. My girlfriend got the meatball parm on gluten-free bread and enjoyed it. The dessert case was way too tempting. However, the subs filled us up so we got them to go. This is where it adds up. Most slices are $12-15 but they are pretty big. I got the lemon blueberry which was $15 and the girlfriend got a piece of gluten free cake that was also $15...so it was over $30 just for dessert. The decorations in restaurant and bathroom make references to New York and Chicago. There are some religious references via Bible scriptures. I don't find it pushy or overwhelming. I think the vibe is supposed to be a NYC deli but it's way too big and clean versus anything I've ever visited in the city which is good. They had a display case full of ham and roast beef and other meats and I'm assuming this is where they store them until they slice them up. We got lucky when we were here and there was a concert in the shopping center so we got to hear music while we had dinner. We will definitely be back!
