Dishonest management, poor incompetent service. Came in on October 19 with a group of 8. Had placed our name on the wait list ahead of time. We let the host know when we arrived. We were told it would be a few minutes as there were parties ahead of us and obviously because our party was large. All parties ahead of us were seated (no issues at all with this). Several parties behind us were also seated, despite there being two empty tables beside each other that could have easily accommodated our party the entire time. After finally speaking with the manager were we seated. Brunch was good and the service on the whole was excellent even though some orders were incorrect. However, the dishonesty of the management is appalling. Two days later I noticed that the charge to my debit card had been reversed and replaced with another charge from the restaurant for a much higher amount. I called the restaurant and was notified that they had done this on purpose, reversed the original charge and replaced it with a higher charge because the original charge had been rung up without their customary gratuity up-charge for large parties. This was never explained to our party nor was it shown on our original receipts. They did not have my permission to correct their own mistake and cost me additional money. I will be disputing the charge in whole and taking every opportunity to share my experience. This is akin to theft. read more

I love this place for breakfast and brunch. I have been dining there since it opened a couple years back and most recently today and have never had a bad experience. The staff is super nice and friendly even though they are usually very busy. Great menu with every breakfast dish you could want. I've tried waffles, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, bacon, eggs Benedict...all fabulous. Very fresh and well prepared. Comfortable place for family, friends, etc. I haven't sat at the bar, but it looks good too. Prices are reasonable. Only downside is that it can be crowded especially on Sunday's for midday brunch. read more

Nice place for breakfast or for quick burger lunch. I appreciate our server was well mannered and asked us if we were in a rush or relaxed afternoon and he adjusted to our requirements as needed. The only reason for 4 stars is the food wasn't the healthiest that we to our liking but it tasted good. Prices are good. I think this place is definitely far better than IHOP. read more

We waited over an hour with no food no nothing we was told they where pushing food out mind you a couple before us got their food 2 minutes after they ordered. We was outside came back and they had set up for another couple without even talking to us or giving us a thing for our drinks. read more

Don't get the Lobster and Grits, it is thoroughly disappointing. The picture of nice chunks of lobster on top is completely inaccurate. There are several tiny pieces chopped up in the sauce, but that's about it. There is however lots of sausage and bacon in the dish. Also, if you ordering online, you may have to wait 15-20 minutes after the determined pickup time. read more

Love the food....You can't beat breakfast all day!! Stan's omelet is the best. I'm always torn between Stan's and the Bac-quezo. read more

Always can count on Another Broken Egg Cafe to deliver an amazing breakfast! Food is always consistent. You can call ahead for a reservation, they're always packed so expect a wait. We were told the wait was 15 minutes, but didn't get seated until 45 minutes after we arrived (and called early for a reservation). Was a little disappointed but our server, (Bradley?), turned our whole experience around. He could tell we were rushed to get out of there, so he immediately took our order and food came out fairly quickly. If it's your first time, get the Beignet's - amazing with the orange marmalade! read more

Wow what a great place to eat. The service was amazing. I could hardly decide on what to get because everything looked great on the menu. Clean, busy, atmosphere was welcoming. The team was friendly start to finish. The kitchen manager dropped our food off and was quite personable while the manager on duty was friendly. Will definitely be going again read more

I've had better experiences with this place. For 1-2 people, we were told we had to wait 20-30 which eventually turned into 30-45 mins. Finally got seated and ordered the "apple pie" mimosas for a lovey $26 only to find that it tastes oddly like Reds Apple Ale. **word of advice for an Apple pie mimosa, ADD CINNAMON** I couldn't help but notice that the "frosted" glasses were not actually frosted but covered in dust and dirt. How am I supposed to drink this ever so delicate mimosa in a dusty, spot-filled glasses? Ironically enough, as I look around and observe others with mimosas, I can't help but notice other patron's dismay as they too were given the same dusty filthy glasses. Like others, we too sent glasses back....we're now at a total of 8 dusty glasses, 7 pissed off patrons and a Partridge in a pear tree! The overall wait for food wasn't too bad, I had the supreme omelette and city grits (to die for). I'll definitely be back, but will not get a signature libation.... read more

Food was 5 stars. The service was 4 stars. We got there on Sunday morning around 9am with 4 adults and 2 kids. The place was pretty packed and we were asked to wait. Waiting is fine, but we saw an empty table that took atleast 10-15 mins to be cleaned and offered to us: this is the sole reason for deducting one star. The breakfast however was great. I had the benedict and my wife had the cinnamon roll french toast. Both are delicious. Kids loved their meals as well. We will definitely go back (and will be happy to adjust review if the service is a little better). read more

Loved it! The food and service was amazing. Not only did the food look delicious, it also tasted just as good. The Simply Salmon was the perfect portion. Just enough to fill you up but so much as to the point where you feel bloated and want to kill yourself for overdoing it. I will be going back. read more

I went as a guest while visiting the city. He said that is little place was one of his "discoveries". And after my visit I definitely agree. The place was packed. Had to wait 20 min. for a table. (a good sign) The food was great. Service was really good and the prices moderate. Jason should be commended. read more

The food was okay. I had the smoked salmon Benny and it wasn't as good as I expected. I prefer my poached egg very runny and this one was not runny at all. The egg was mostly cooked through and the only thing running about it was all the boiled water that came out when I cut it making the bagel soggy. The staff was also a little awkward, I have never felt weird around a restaurant staff before. Also, the lady who brought our food out was coughing while carrying and delivering our food.. Not too appetizing. Please stay home if you're sick or if that was smokers cough consider a job not in food & bev because we were both very grossed out by the person handling what we were about to eat. read more

I went to this location on a busy Sunday and the experience was very pleasant. Everyone made me feel welcomed from the hostess to the waiter. Prior to coming here I had the worst experience with the hostess at the Cary location which wasn't the case at the Morrisville location. The "Join the Wait" function on yelp works accurately for this location, we were seated timely and the waiter was very personable and attentive! read more

The front house manager Kevin was very disrespectful he was cursing in front of us customers cursing out the customers on the wait list who didn't show up for their tables when it was time for them to be seated. He then continued to curse out his hosts when they weren't doing anything wrong he was overall inappropriate and just very disrespectful I will never eat there again it was terrible customer service. My food was also cold, I was refused a refund and the food was very distasteful, there were roaches also, just an overall bad restaurant. read more

This is the best cafe I've ever eaten at, the food was great, the only thing is when they are busy they tend to take a very long time to get you seated, and a long time to bring your food, if you have a sweet tooth I would personally recommend the cinnamon bun French toast. read more

Delicious food and love that they have gluten-free pancakes available. It is usually very crowded so recommend planning for that in advance. read more

Terrible service, you wait 20 min for a table, 10 min for the waitress to take your order, and after 40 min waiting your food is not yet at your table. If you warn your customers that orders are delayed and give them the expected time for food it would be a better approach than having your customers waiting on the table wondering what happened. Very disappointing! read more

I walked into this place expecting a bakery type set up, but found it was a nice sit-down restaurant, so I waited to come back (not alone). Thankfully I was able to go back and it was so great! We shared the biscuit beignets; they were tasty but certainly not the fluffy, airy beignets of New Orleans. They are cut pieces of biscuits that makes them pretty dense, still yummy though. I ordered The Cinnamon Roll French Toast which was just amazing! I almost ate the entire plate (which i regretted later, but worth it)! My sister ordered the corned beef hash which was so good I wanted more but, she ate it all :P. The overall service was good though the food seemed to take a long time. Our table had a cold draft (we were warned about it before we were seated though) so the food did not stay warm for long. Will be going back very soon when my mom and sister are in town. read more

Pros: This place is close to my home, we come all the time. The food here is great for the price. Food portions are big. I highly recommend the waffle sliders! Cons: They are dangerously understaffed for the amount of people that come though. Each time we have come there has been no utensils on the table, I had to go up to the server station and ask. We wait 45mins to an hour for our food which is almost always cold by the time it gets to us. read more

The service is excellent. The waffles were good as were the eggs. The binette was dry. The egg scramble was also dry and not very flavorful. I ordered hot tea and they brought me a box with a very nice selection! read more

Had a terrible experience last weekend with delivery. Spent $60 for a breakfast for 4 (two of which were kids; overpriced) only to have kids drink, utensils, syrup, and jelly missing. I contacted the manager to let them know and was told I would receive something in my email to make the experience "right." I received nothing in my email (nothing in spam). So disappointed with this response, especially given the amount of money we spent. read more

Great brunch spot. Many different options, sure to please everybody. Service was good but a little slow. Enjoyed my plate of crab cakes, fried green tomato with a spinach salad. The fried green tomatoes outshined the crab cakes which tasted good but the texture was squishy. I prefer a crispier crab cake. On the other hand the fried green tomato was divine. It had a crunchy, crispy cornmeal crust and juicy inside. The side spinach salad added a nice acidic touch with a well dressed vinaigrette dressing. read more

We love this place!! Barry, one of the managers, is awesome and recognizes us each week when we're there. The biscuits and gravy taste just like the ones my great grandmother used to make and the Belgian waffles are the best in the area! read more

Overall terrible experience. Poor customer service. The wait was an hour on a Sunday morning, which is understandable but It took nearly 35 mins for 4 beignets to come out which were very doughy, clearly undercooked. The shrimp and grits were extremely salty. Manager in blue shirt stated there was nothing that could be done about it because it's made it batches and not to order. Others at surrounding tables also complained about the really salty shrimp and grits. Would not recommend! read more

This place is disappointing. The last two times we came, we waited at least an hour for our food to come- not including the wait time to get seated. And when the food finally came out, it was just okay- little flavor. When you order the coffee, make sure you specify that you want the the house blend otherwise they automatically upcharge you for the Kenya blend- which is 4.00 per cup- ridiculous. We have give. this place a couple of tries but just won't be coming back. read more

A nice breakfast restaurant with a pleasing atmosphere. I must admit, I am very picky when it comes to eggs cooked over medium. I want the whites fully cooked and the yolks runny. My eggs were cooked just perfect! I also ordered French toast which was very good, and bacon, also cooked just right, and not greasy. I enjoyed a few cups of very good coffee that never emptied and enough cream to last through our breakfast. My only complaint would be that there were no spoons on the table and one was not brought with my coffee. We had great service and excellent food. The staff was very pleasant, and several staff members greeted us and made sure we were satisfied with our overall dining experience. Definitely a place I would enjoy going to again. read more

We are new to the area and are a bit overwhelmed at all the great breakfast places we have to choose from, but this one has come to be our favorite. They have a great selection of not-boring food. Great service. Seating that is soft to sit on (at least the booths are soft, I can't speak for the chairs) which is important if you don't have a lot of padding back there! I love that they will customize anything for you. Everything we've ordered here has been delicious! read more

The best part was the chocolate milk the kids ordered. They were a kids dream with whip cream and extra chocolate sauce drizzled on the inside of the glasses. I ordered the eggs, bacon, and pancake combo. It did not disappoint. The eggs were tasty and the bacon delicious as promised. The husband ordered the omelet and seemed satisfied with his choice as well. Nothing over the top. Overall, it was a good experience; however, based on price I had to give it 3 stars. read more
