This is the second time my husband and I have been for brunch in the past month and the sorry service that we received both times , we were treated as if we were a inconvenienc. Our waitress had no personality and the way she looked at us She never checked to see if our food was good or if we were ok. We will try again but if we get the same waitress for the third time , i will ask for a different server .On the positive side our food was delicious read more

Make reservation online if possible, lo g wait on Sundays. Food is extremely good and staff is friendly. Stays busy. Always a wait. I didnt care for the city grits, just my preference. The coffee seemed mediocre. But the wait and coffee were worth the food's taste. EXCELLENT read more

Very Good, when not busy pretty much sums it up. I went early on a Sunday Morning that was rainy, so when I got there it was pretty empty. When we went to leave, it was almost full, and more people were on the way in. I will give Another Broken Egg a lot of credit. They make everything fresh, and they like to make it themselves. I got the Cinnamon Roll to start things off, and this was not just some roll thrown in the microwave to warm it up. You could tell the frosting had just been put on it, as it was still melting when it got to the table. It was very tasty, and large enough to be shared between two people. I got the Eggs Benedict with the Crab Cakes. I have never had Eggs Benedict before, but I figured I would give them a try with the crab cake. I didn't like the eggs that much, but I am pretty sure that has more to do with the dish not the restaurant (not enough taste). The crab cake was good as were the potatoes that came with it. I put some of their Pepper Sauce on it, and wow that made the whole thing really good. I am sure I will go back, as the service and food were both good. I could see it getting really busy at times, so I will stick to when they first open. read more

2 Words: Yes Please! We will definitely be heading back. Perfect for brunch. A friend of ours was visiting for the day and he suggested we try the place out. Had seen it before but never made the effort to come. It was worth the visit. I asked our waitress for her favorite dished and she suggested the Bacquezo (Ba-Key-Zo!). It was awesome. And the fries were amazing. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. read more

This place is really delicious, nice sunny surroundings, fast & friendly staff, and most things I saw on the menu were under 10 dollars. If you love potatoes, eggs, and/or comfort food- come here! I even went on my 30 minute lunch break and was back to work in time ;-) read more

A couple of weekends ago I had a wonderful meal here with a couple of friends. It was my husband and I's first time dining here for brunch on a Saturday morning. The wait was ridiculous but thankfully we called and put our names on the list 1 hour before arriving. We were seated outside before realized the patio didn't do a great job of keeping the sun off of us while we ate, plus the waitress outside was really catty and encouraged us to " move before I get ur drink order". Rude. Once seated inside we were welcomed by a really sweet young man with a great sense of humor. The menu was extensive with lots of sweet & savory breakfast options. Not only that, there were loads of healthy options too! It was terrific. The blueberry quinoa was tasty & the waffle like fruit bowl was light & slightly sweetened. The French toast was sinful & the coffee was good to the last drop. The grits were shared all around. The only item that wasn't enjoyed around the table was the Mediterranean potatoes. Looking forward to visiting soon. It was weird to find our waiters Xerox business card tucked in with our check. But his personality will certainly bring us back. read more

Amazing GF pancakes!! This is my new favorite place! Service was good too! I visited on Sunday afternoon and we had to wait 1/2 hour for a table. read more

The bloody mary I got was impossibly sad, poorly made, lacking possibly any "zing" at all. I would never, in a million years order another. However, to my surprise, the biscuits and gravy were perfect. The bacon was the best I've ever had, scrambled eggs were very fluffy and the home fries were well and crispy. The loaded grits are fantastic and I am assured by my friends the omelette and pancakes do it for them too. The gravy went bagged for a few weeks, apparently corporate promoted a godsend of a manager who wouldn't tolerate the fake stuff, but it is seemed to have gone back to quality.. last I went. read more

We sat down with friends for a nice Sunday brunch. The food was so so. I ordered the black bean eggs Benedict. It tasted ok, but I kept wondering what was missing. It tasted ok, but nothing to write home about. Our friend is gluten free and she was disappointed at the lack of options. The one bright point was when the waitress brought out the chocolate milk for the kiddos. The amount of whip cream and chocolate sauce made me want to steal the drink from a teenager. read more

We had a party of 8+1 infant and we had a 35 minute wait (which I was cool with, it was a Sunday for brunch). This place is not worth a 2 minute wait. . I ordered a little elvis for my 2 year old and told the waitress to bring it out when it was ready.. after 20 minutes after we all ordered we all got our brunch and still no little elvis, she brought the 2 year Olds out last. . Really. . The biscuits and gravy were brutal, the sausage patties were cold, the eggs were under cooked and the gravy was flavorless and cold. . The wife had the black bean Benedict and she mentioned the hollandaise was lacking flavor. . This place was a rotten egg. . read more

The food is consistently decent quality. I have never eaten in, just called ahead and taken food to go. While everyone inside is very nice, they don't have a good system in place for pickup orders. Every time I have gone to pick up an order, the hostess generally flounders as she tries to recall where to go. When I get to the bar to pick up something, the bartender looks confused that I'm trying to drink at 11:30 in the morning. They'll generally need to go to the kitchen on a treasure hunt to figure out what happened to my order. The portions here are enormous. I'm not talking large bread, I mean literally 2 meals big. If you are looking at the menu and wondering how a place can charge $15 for a Reuben, that is because you are getting 2 complete sandwiches and 2 orders of hash browns. When I order from here, I'll usually split a dish with someone. My big complaint with this place is the greasiness. I enjoy the taste of butter but when I order a sandwich, my hands are oily by the end from the bread. It's kind of excessive. read more

BEST BACON IN TOWN. (Need I say more? OK!)... It's become one of Morrisville's little gems. It's got a cheerful country kitchen feel - perfect for a Saturday or Sunday morning. It's the type of place you want to bring family and friends; great for kids. Make sure you get there relatively early - if you get there any time after 8:45am you'll probably have to wait. seriously... the bacon. read more

Food was delicious and portion was perfect for what you pay. Only problem we had was service. Our waitress only came by once after we got our food, and that was to give us the check! She didnt even bring us our food, the guy from the kitchen did. I was looking for a brunch place to bring friends from out of town and this place was perfect. We came on a weekday and there was no wait at all. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Some things that stood out were the spiked salted caramel cold brew, and city grits. They were delicious. I'm not a big fan of chicken and waffles, but tried it here and it was delicious as well. This place and service was so good, we went back during the weekend. It was very busy, however you can add your name to the waitlist online and check in when you arrived. Food was just as good as the first time and will definitely be a go to spot for now on. read more

Whoever owns/manages this place needs to try harder or close their doors until they hire more people. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and worked as hard as a person could possibly work. The cooks in the kitchen could be heard screaming at each other throughout the entire restaurant. Food took forever. No bartender was staffed. Our experience was outright poor for our friends breakfast brunch. management should do better by their staff and their customers. I don't know that we will be back to another broken egg. read more

Based on the reviews here, I dropped by Another Broken Egg Cafe today. I had the fruit, yogurt parfait and blueberry muffin. The muffin was warm and the parfait was delicious. The fruit variety was outstanding and there was vanilla and strawberry yogurt mixed in. The granola topping was moist and fresh, although I like granola that is bone dry. The low rating is entirely due to service. It was Friday at 9am and there was a father/daughter customer who walked in with me. They were seated immediately and although I was told I would be seated 'right away', it took at least 5 minutes for anyone to come back. At this point the waiting area was full with a huge party! I was told that a party of THIRTY had made a reservation. A cafe really can't support a party of 30 nor can it support all of the other customers who are there at the same time. The party was broken in two, but I had 20 plus folks next to me and the noise level was more dinner-party level than mellow breakfast level. My meal came in a reasonable amount of time. The waiter did return and refilled my drink, but I then sat for 20+ minutes without a check. I finally went up to the register and paid. All things considered, the waiters were upbeat through all of this and seemed to handle the big tables remarkably well. The food was delicious, yet I feel a hesitation about returning and trying again. I will update this review if I do return. read more

Wow, I think I have found a new favorite breakfast place! I have to say that it is a bit of a hike from Clayton but, it's worth it. We stopped in Saturday morning around 9:00 and had no trouble scoring a table on their patio. Service was quick and efficient but, you could tell that some of the staff members was new. Our server was a bit "spacey" but eager and tried hard. My wife had the Floridian; a cream cheese filled omelet topped with crabmeat and finished with melted jack cheese and scallions. It was accompanied by an english muffin and deep fried breakfast potatoes. It was excellent. She only managed to work her way through half of it... I went with Lafitte's Tortilla; scrambled eggs, green chilies, chorizo and onions in a flour tortilla topped with melted cheese and salsa. Sour cream and salsa were also served on the side along with deep fired breakfast potatoes. It was excellent. The eggs were perfectly cooked and it had a great southwestern flavor. I didn't realize that this was a chain until we read the menu. They have 15-20 locations mainly in the southeast. The interior is nicely done in dark woods and has an upscale feel. Folks at one of the other tables had a couple of Bloody Mary's that looked great. One will definitely be on my list to try. You can be sure that I'll be looking for an excuse to drive to Morrisville in the morning just to stop in. read more

I will never forget how this company treated me. 2 months before a reunion of 35 women, most educators, I contacted the establishment to let them know the date and that I wanted to purchase 35 gift cards so i could place them in goodie bags as a surprise. When I arrived to purchase the gift-cards they acted as if they didn't know anything about it. I gave my credit card to pay for the gift cards and he said the card was declined. I KNEW THAT TO BE FALSE. I gave him a prepaid visa card next with a 400 dollar limit and he said that too was declined. So I asked for the general manager's number. He gave me a number , I began dialing it and then he said, " Actually, that isn't the general managers number,I cant give out his number! He lied! They simply did not want to serve 37 women of color! And I am glad it happened to some extent! They have a rating of 90 anddddd because of their mistreatment I FOUND EGG&I.... and guess what miraculously ( I'm being sarcastic) allllll of my cards worked! Yep, 10 minutes later,2 miles away not one problem with my cards! I WILLLLLLLL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO CONTINUE TO SPEAK OUT ABOUT THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LIESSSSSS TOLD BY ANOTHER BROKEN EGG IN MORRESVILLE! If you want quality treatment and great food ..try Egg&I.. I stopped in here on a Sunday with my wife. I had driven past it numerous times, and always wanted to try it. Finally I drug my wife out Sunday morning to check it out. Sadly my timing was a little off, as there was a 30 minute wait. I wasn't going to let time determine my ability to try a new spot. So we waited it out. When we finally got seated, I scrolled through the menu. We decided we would split two meals, so we ordered the eggs with home fries and bacon as well as the French toast. I know what your thinking, pretty simple. However I was starving at this point. Once the good came out, my mouth had passed watering. It was time to dig in. The France toast was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning. The eggs were a little lacking flavor, but I blame that on not getting the omelet we wanted. However they were prepared perfectly and very fluffy. If I may say, try their home fries with their pepper sauce, Amazing flavor. Prance juice was a little over priced, but tasted hand squeezed. All in all we lived our food, and truly hope to Make it back. Just a friendly warning. Beat the crowds on Sundays, it can get crazy. read more

I love breakfast. Sometimes it's the best thing that happens all day. I was impressed with how clean, well decorated, and spacious this cafe was, and how friendly and helpful the staff was. The menu has a large variety, which is nice, and the food was very tasty. We had the cinnamon roll french toast, beignets, coffee, scrambled eggs, and bacon (for two people). The cinnamon roll french toast was awesome, and the presentation was very well done. The eggs, bacon, potatoes, and english muffin were good, better than you'd get at most places. The problem, and it's a common one, is that the coffee is terrible. It's your typical bitter overcooked diner coffee. The same that you'll find at Brigg's or Panera, or any roadside diner across the country. If Another Broken Egg can upgrade the coffee, that would make the whole experience much better, and for me, 5 stars. read more

This place is great. It's on our regular brunch rotation. I've had most of their omelettes--my favorite is the Lobster and Brie. The beignets are also delicious. I've also had their burger and some of their salads, all great. The decor and vibe in there is top notch. It just feels warm and inviting in there. The staff is usually very friendly and they keep your coffee cup full and hot. Their healthy options are pretty good too. Fruit and yogurt, quinoa and such. You may have to wait for a table on the weekend, but it's worth it. Try the call ahead seating for a shorter wait. read more

Mediocre service and food. Not worth the price or wait. Food took forever to come out (25 minutes)and they weren't completely busy. The bacon was burnt. I asked for some unburnt bacon and was told they were making some and it would be 8 minutes. At least 15 minutes later it came out, but by then I was already done eating and full. The servers do not move fast and looked disheveled (like hair was not brushed). Only good was the mimosa. Will not be back read more

Came here for lunch today - super long wait for a table (my friend was really annoyed BC there were so many empty tables inside and out but nobody was being seated). Boys have no patience. :p Anyway, once we got seated, we pretty much ordered and got our food fairly quickly. We were hungry. The food was okay - I had the skinny omelette and my bf had the huevos rancheros. I cant recall if it tasted extremely good or bad; we pretty much ravished our food and scandalized the table next to us, haha!! No talking, just munch munch.... read more

Took my kids to breakfast this morning and was seating right away. Our order was taken within 10 minutes but we had to wait 25 mins for our food. When the food friendly arrived to the table my son was missing the whip cream in his pancakes and u was missing the cheese in my eggs. Plus, my kids pancakes and bacon were burnt. On top of all this I had to ask for butter twice because the first request was neglected snd no one came back to our table to ask if we needed anything which is normally just standard. I didn't even complain because I was trying to have a carefree happy morning and didn't need the stress. All I can say is This was our first and last time I go to Another Broken Egg! read more

I just ate here Sunday morning for brunch - and wow was I amazed! I've ridden by before on a Sunday morning and it seems to be busy all the time - helpful hint - they take call ahead for reservations. Once greeted by our waitress I mentioned that we had never been before and they sent out a half order of the biscuit beignets which are simply delicious! (free) I ordered the Turkey Pesto sandwich and it was so light and refreshing - perfect for a late breakfast/early lunch! I got the potatoes as my side and they were crispy and perfect dipped in a little ketchup. My friend got eggs/bacon/grits/toast which they thoroughly enjoyed! Stopped by following a medical appt. Service was fast and the staff friendly. My wife ordered the Traditional Breakfast and loved it. 2 eggs country potatoes and an english muffin. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. I won't do that again! The hollandaise sauce was so blah. No lemon or cayenne just paprika. My mistake I should have asked. Other than that the meal was great The eggs were poached to perfection. A nice touch was our server noted our potato serving was slim and brought us out two steaming bowls to replace them. Hostess is EXTREMELY rude. We joined the waitlist and the hostess said she couldn't find our name. She then quoted us a 30 minute wait, we went in and checked on the estimate after 40 minutes and she said it'd be another wait of 30 minutes. Claims we lied and that we were quoted an hour wait.
