It seems like they tweaked the recipe somehow, for the better! Their croffles are now crispy and slightly chewy with no stickiness at all! Much more enjoyable I never had their drinks before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The earl gray matcha cloud was delightful. The matcha cloud was bitter and creamy - tasted reminiscent of a matcha pocky. The sweet potato latte is phenomenal. They use real sweet potato which adds tiny chunks of sweet potato with each sip. Creamy, sweet , and smoky

I did not taste any of the food items, but I did go in and order a chestnut latte and it was much more like flavored syrup and milk than it was coffee. The customer service was great, both of the girls were really sweet and very inviting to everyone that walked through the doors, but the coffee itself did not quite meet my expectation. And being that I felt super sleepy right away. Let me know that it really didn't have too much coffee in it. I was driving back home to San Antonio and had to pull over and get coffee from somewhere else. I would say that it would be good for an afternoon coffee, where you don't necessarily need the caffeine but as my morning coffee, this did not quite meet the need. Next time I'm in Austin I might try one of their other beverage options and some of their food options because everything looked really good and it looked like they had some regulars that walked in that morning so they are definitely doing something right.

This first watch was great! The service was super courteous,…read morethe place was so nice, full of happy customers, a beautiful restaurant, and the food was varied and good! What is not to like? We had our final Austin brunch there and were happy we made that choice. Of course it's a chain restaurant, but good quality food is always nice. So I remembered that they have a virtual line you can join - and sometimes that works- and so I joined the line. We had a party of 6 going. At brunch... that was going to take a while! Well The strategy worked as we were in their list when we got there! So remember to get on that waitlist so you won't have to wait so long while at the restaurant Warning: their coffee is strong! Lol - we had a cup while waiting, and I was done. Lol! We ordered the turkey sausage and gravy with a biscuit and potatoes. We still had the gravy craving since we got so little of it at Another Broken Egg the day before... well this time we got a good serving of gravy to complete our craving! Yess! However... since I'm comparing... I did like yesterday's gravy more... I guess First Watch's gravy was healthier (turkey sausage) and needed milk- it was good, don't get me wrong, plentiful and flavorful, but... the other one was better ‍ Then we also shared some of these strawberry French toast. The French toast was thick and yummy and the whole thing looked super delish! I personally would have liked real whipped cream on top- I think this was miracle whip and just a let down in consistency for me. Yuck. It was left behind. And the strawberries were not all fresh? It had a great flavor, but we found we were sorting thru the strawberries to get the fresh ones versus some that were not. My daughter said she enjoyed it and would get it again... but also didn't like those 2 details. Anyway we are being picky. But those are opportunities for improvement- so that's what it's all about. The other friends got some omelettes and a veggie dish but we were seated far so I couldn't get their pictures- oh and a delicious morning drink with orange juice and some other juices that we unfortunately spilled all over... but most of it was delicious ! Anyway: we had great service, good food, and a fun goodbye brunch in Austin! Until Next time !

First time visiting and we were blown away!…read more There's lots of spaces to sit and play games. We arrived early on a Saturday, and since just a party of two, no reservation. Larger parties arriving a little bit later that morning had made reservations, and that would definitely be advised as the place quickly became absolutely packed. Despite how busy everything was, it was a great environment and wasn't too noisy. Service was excellent and everyone was so helpful with any questions we had. We love that they have a library of games to rent so you can try out new options. It's $5 per game or a day pass for $10 and unlimited rentals. We also came hungry, so enjoyed a couple of their menu items. Everything was absolutely delicious, which we honestly weren't expecting. They have a massive beverage menu that spans coffee to cocktails and everything in between. And of course, we enjoyed seeing the Tardis proudly positioned out front!

They had some pastries and very little amount of edibles but the Dirty chai was wonderful! It was not so sweet where your teeth is about to decay with every sip! Although, it was still premixed with sugar... Now... The ambiance was lovely. It was a quiet kind of charm and, can be peaceful. New items! How exciting: I had not been here for a couple of months. This time I decided to try their matcha- it comes topped with a chocolate pistachios cream (this was a bit too much for me, my daughter liked it) and the matcha was also too sweet for me, but very flavorful. For our main dish I ordered the shrimp and grits, and my daughter ordered biscuits and gravy. My dish had 4 small shrimp (which I ate) a lot of anduille sausage bits, and a lot of flavorful sauce over these soupy cheesy grits that was not what I expected. It was served as a "soup" with a spoon. There was some toasted bread on the side of the bowl. While everything was very flavorful, I did not like the soupy consistence, it was unexpected for me. My daughter's biscuits and gravy, on the other hand, needed more gravy... she liked the dish but she felt her gravy was too little for the serving. Then she also ordered a half order (1) pancake with cinamon roll French toast and we took that home. It had good flavor! Overall, I enjoyed the food, the flavors were good, the prices have definitely gone up a LOT. 3 stars for good flavor as expected- but I was not "blown away"... but yes of course I would come again!
