Stopped in to get my screen replaced and my LCD repaired (my touch screen was both cracked and unresponsive). The staff was attentive and let me use the wifi while I waited, but I didn't really need it since the repair only took about 15 minutes. And the cost? Literally half of what any place in the loop was charging for the same service. It was a bit more of a trek, but worth it 110%. A quick thing that's important to know is that they do have storage fees. Another customer was fuming because he left his phone there for months. I'm not sure the exact details, but the storage policy is clearly laid out on a sign in the store. I took my wife's Mac Book Air into Zyvatech on 4/20/2015 to have the screen replaced. It took about two weeks to get the computer back. Once it was returned, it had seven screws poking out of the back of the computer (not completely, but enough that the metal is no longer flush). The computer also did not close completely. This was fine because the screen worked. By July, the glue that Zyvatech's "engineers" used had worn off and the screen became detached. Literally, the casing around the screen opened up and the screen stopped working. I took the computer back in, and because it was outside of the 30 day window, they could not replace the broke screen. Even though the new screen was broken because of poor workmanship. Because the front desk guy was kind, he said they would try to fix it free of charge. That was nice of them. It took about another 2+ weeks to get the computer back, and when it was returned, it was still broken and flopping around. They did not even try gluing it back together. Just handed it over screen open to the world. I am livid. For $290.00 cash (I kept the receipt), I would have hoped for at least 6 months on a working computer. Nope, not with the fine folks at Zyvatech. I know that the owner reads these reviews, and will probably comment that he's sorry. Well, if you're sorry, then do the right thing and replace my screen or give me a cash refund. It was Zyvatech's fault that it broke for the second time. Not the screen manufacturer or the owner of the computer, but Zyvatech's engineers and glue. Based on the reviews, this looks like a fine place to take your phone. I would NOT take your computer here. I will never be sending my business to Zyvatech again, and I will actively try to dissuade anyone from shopping here. read more

Really disappointed, they fixed my phone for $110 dollars, the screen was die. Before I fixed the price was at $70 after then $110 no choice I fixed. And then two days after the screen broke in my pocket. No idea why I going back and tell them the problems, the technician was pretty mean and don't try to understand anything. Anyway, they promised to make your cell phone brand new but they use all of the parts from after market, so I will never recommended this shop and those people. THE GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I bought the groupon for $20 that put $40 toward my purchase. On their website it says that they normally charge $110 to repair the iPhone 6s plus, so I estimated paying $70 after the groupon purchase. Once I got to the store however, the guy working there told me that they took $40 off of the "groupon price" which was $130, so I would have to pay him $90 total after using the voucher. So if you do the math, I spent $20 on my groupon, so 20+90 is 110!!!!! THE SAME PRICE THEY ADVERTISE WITHOUT THE GROUPON ANYWAY! That's not a deal at all!?!??!?!? It's a scam. The man was not willing to hear me out and said "that's marketing!" Absolutely unprofessional and never coming here again. I brought my iPhone 5 in after going to ubreakifix up the road. Ubreak was so expensive I decided to attempt fixing myself. I just wanted it good enough to get trade in value from t-mobile. I did most of the repairs myself but brought to zyvatech for final gluing down of the screen that was pulling away from the body. (The phone was almost five years old and in pretty bad shape). They fixed it on the spot in ten minutes for $20. Ubreak had wanted $95 to replace the whole screen which was overpriced and entirely unnecessary. Zyvatech did what I needed quickly and cheaply. They're awesome! $88 for an iPhone 6 repair when all the other places just down the street are $120. You can't even find that good of a deal on Groupon! THIS PLACE. wow, i have been waiting to write a review on this place for weeks. It is GOD awful. 1. This place is boiling hot. Every time I walked in, I would sweat my face off. The workers would sweat their faces off. Why don't you have AC? Do you enjoy being miserable all day? It was nicer outside yet the door was always closed to keep in the misery. minor, but annoying. 2. Broken iPhone 5c screen :-( I went to "1st Communications" which did an amazing job but it was far. So I got lazy and went to this place.. which seemed to have good reviews. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. like, seriously. My life is deteriorating because of this place. I went into this place THREE separate times. Now for the subsets: -- FIrst time, Screen fixed, but now my speaker does not work when im on a call and my headphone jack is acting weird. Go back in and complain. The guy takes the screen off and fiddles with it. I come back, he said nothing is wrong yet. I show him that the headphone jack is STILL not working. okay, okay, so MAYBE my headphone jack broke coincidently.. but i just doubt that. -- Second time. Phone screen is not seated all the way down... talk about getting it physically seated correctly because I thought it might help the headphone jack.. it would work when I would push down on the screen. It may help the phone. The guy says it won't help the phone but he tries to do it anyway. Fixed the screen seating but not the headphone jack still. -- Third time. I drop my phone.. i know what your thinking but TRUST ME it fell on its corner, the screen pops out again and this time.. it completely turns off. it does not shatter but just turns off. the phone is still on though because I am listening to music through my bluetooth headphones. I took it to a place in the suburbs for a second opinion and they said the screen crystals broke. I take it to them AGAIN. They replace the screen no charge. But this screen is like a lower quality or something because the brightness doesn't work anymore. You can see like two bright LED lights on underneath the screen. It is so bizarre. GAVE UP. Just decided this phone is not worth the hassle anymore and DEFINITELY not going back to that hot box of a repair shop. I would not send my worse enemy there...well maybe ;-) read more

Time 1: He said he would only give me my package "for a smile". Time 2: He was not even behind the counter during the business hours, I had to call to get him out from behind the back room. Cracked my screen on Friday and went to get it fixed here based on the reviews. Without asking me they put on a screen that has noticeable discoloration from the typical screen. Every image I look a has a dingy brownish tint to it, like a very old one or something of cheap quality. I pointed this out as soon as they gave me the phone and they responded yes it's diff the one that's more similar costs almost 100 dollars more than the 80 I was already spending. I think it's really wrong that they failed to give me this information up front. It literally feels like a scam or being cheated. I investigated further and learned that other repair shops are charging the same price for significantly better screens. Not only are they ripping me off, the screen they put on doesn't work so I am having trouble typing, scrolling and anything that requires touch which is all features. After I noticed the discoloration issue and voiced that in person, they insisted I had to pay double for the better screen and for me they'd give me a deal and take 20 dollars off. It's still a rip off but I told them I'd come in the next day. I called them back and to let them know other companies are selling the right screen for far less and had they been up front wit me from the start, I would have considered carefully where to go . The guy yelled at me on the phone and in person telling me I was lying or that the other companies were lying. The whole experience was ridiculous. The price they are charging for a low quality screen is a scam and you will leave here feeling cheated. read more

I think if you're coming in here for a phone screen repair, you'll probably be alright, however, I wouldn't come in here for anything more than that. My phone had a bad charging port, and had to come in 3 times before Aaron even had the right part for my phone, a Galaxy S6 Edge. When the charging port was swapped out, Aaron connected it to a charger that wasn't fast charging compatible and made the decision that the charging port wasn't the cause of my charging problem. Fine, except it was, and his lack of knowledge on Samsung phones almost cause me to have a brick of a phone camping that weekend. He proceeded to put the bad charge port back in, in a worse state than he found it, I could hardly get the thing to charge at all anymore. I made it to Minneapolis during my trip where I had someone else look at my phone, he told me there were three screws missing and whoever was working on my last didn't know what they were doing. Aaron's a nice enough guy, but there's no way I'd ever use him for phone repair again. Meh. That basically sums up my experience with them. Go across the street to eRepair, cannot stress this enough - superior service, quality, and competitive prices. To start, I never review things as I typically just shrug it off and move on but these guys annoyed me. I went to get a cracked screen replaced a few months back, all seemed to go smooth in the beginning. A few days later I noticed a small black 'sliver' on the bottom of my screen (indicating it was not 100% aligned properly) but it didn't really impact anything so I just let it be. Then a few weeks later for whatever reason I inadvertently applied a little more pressure than usual to the screen and it went a bit haywire but returned to normal as soon as I released my finger. Anyways, fast forward 2 months - at work and I just took it out of my pocket as usual and the entire screen was messed up (flashing sporadically throughout phone, black lines at some places, etc.) Still usable but very, very difficult to read! I went back that afternoon and tried to explain the situation (NO. I DID NOT DROP IT) however all the guy could say was you must have dropped it, you must have dropped it, you must have dropped it. Oh, also, apparently they only offer 7 day warranties (come on....) tl;dr - I should have immediately went back when I noticed the job looked a little shady but just hoped for the best. Brought my Samsung GT-N5110 in because it had fallen with the charger in it and landed at an angle that bent the charging pin. needless to say it wouldn't charge unless the charger was held in place with a lot of pressure. Also the LCD was cracked from the top of the tablet to about the middle, diagonally. I believe I spoke with the owner who quoted me a fair price under $200 to fix both problems and said it should take about 5 days to repair because they had to order the part. went in Monday and they called me Friday to let me know that the damage to the LCD Crack had caused more damage internally than they originally anticipated. He let me know they had to order a few extra parts and it would take 5 to 7 more days. And because of my new wait time, gave me a free Samsung S Pen because my tablet (coming from eBay) didn't have one. I would definitely recommend their services. Great customer service, very polite and understanding. PS: I believe my tablet actually holds a better/longer charge than before. I am strongly considering selling some electronics to them or at least getting a quote. read more

Great spot. I was first a skeptic, but the shop was very transparent on the price, process and materials used. The lone gentleman (the manager ) was the one who took care of me. 2 broken screens and 35 minutes later, all done. Will use services again. UPDATE: Returned for service today. different phones. Once again impeccable workmanship . Others may be cheaper but will take shortcuts. This place is fast and affordable. I thought my phone had water damage, but it was a simple port issue which was quick and cheap to fix. Everything was dry and intact on the inside. They were honest enough to tell me this instead of nickel-and-diming me to fix a water-damaged phone. (usually never write reviews but these people are terrible) AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! went there to repair a cracked screen, the guy assured me it would be an easy fix and that it will be ready in two hours. FIVE HOURS LATER I return and the phone still isnt fixed and the battery is over heating and he is still attempting to put in the screen that he ordered (that was actually the wrong part, I find out after taking it to a different store) after waiting in the store for an hour, the guy tells me that he is not sure if the phone is broken or not. Finally, he hands me the phone with half the screen elevated and out of the original part of the phone, it is overheating and the buttons aren't working. The next day I bring it back for him to fix it, he assures me he just needs to glue it and then everything will be perfect. After taking it in a second time and waiting for him to fix it (which he doesn't) THE SCREEN FALLS OUT THE VERY NEXT DAY. they refuse to give me any sort of refund after completely ruining my phone. I had my phone screen repaired here as well as my computer. -Water damaged my macbook 2 times within 3 weeks T_T they fixed everything well, very quickly the first time and at a good price. The second time I had to pester them a bit to receive updates but do not be scared to ask if you have questions or concerned, very nice people. -Screen repair service is just as good as anywhere else and sometimes cheaper here (price of parts fluctuate so its a game). -Occasionally there is a slight language barrier with certain workers, albeit it is not an issue.
