This place is middle of the road, not bad but also nothing to be blown away by. Their biggest pro is their beer selection and how large it is. Especially during the week of The Great American Beer Festival with many beers you'd want to try. Their food selection is kinda what you'd expect for an American Bar/Causual Sit down place. You get a burger, a sandwich of many kinds, salads, and lots of apps and other choices. I tried their new (at least the menu said new) Korean BBQ Cheesesteak which was tasty but lacked the portion size I expected and was left with a lot of just bread at the end. My girlfriend had their Cilantro Lime Chicken. The portion was actually quite large and the bite I tried was pretty decent. The place has a nice enough vibe with good music playing later at night. Service was alright, nothing to praise but nothing to complain about. Got food and drinks in a reasonable amount of time just long periods of time not seeing the server. If you set your expectations a little lower and don't expect the best meal you'll ever have but a great taplist then go here. Decent option when other places have a longer wait. read more

Food is always good. We have never had any issues. Service can be a 50/50 but most of visits have been a 85-95% great. The ambiance is good not so so loud but can get loud but seat at the bar area the bartenders are always great even thou they are always busy. read more

Another work dinner meal in Denver.....this place did not disappoint. I ordered the Parmesan-crusted pork loin. The meal came w/ broccolini stalks & mashed sweet potatoes. The dish really worked to be both sweet and savory....I must say it successfully accomplished this. The pork loin was drizzled in a cherry shallot sauce that was the perfect compliment. The pork wasn't perfectly cooked, but it was not poorly cooked either. The broccolini and sweet potatoes were prepared very nicely. The environment was loud and busy. My friend and I visited on a cold evening while strolling though 16th St. We were able to get a table as soon as we got in and saw the wide variety of drinks. I wanted to get something local so I had the Breckenridge Agave Wheat which had a lot of foam on top but was good. I wish we would have visited during happy hour since they have it at night too Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM - close which is awesome. We shared the Margarita pizza which was perfect to hold us though the night along with a little dessert the mini peach apple cobbler which I loved! Next time ill go for the large size. The restaurant itself is a great location, clean and the staff were prompt when asking for anything. Its a great place to take family and friends to visit with such large variety of food and drink items. Prices are also reasonable considering the location. I was staying in the Sheraton for 5 nights for a conference and having the Yard House literally at my doorstep was amazing. I made sure to venture out to a few other local places downtown, but on the nights I was tired and wanted to "stay in" I'm so glad they were there. They had an awesome beer selection and the food was great. Over the week, I got their pizza, wings, guacamole dip (SO GOOD), and a burger. When my food came out the plate was extremely hot but the food was just warm. It seems almost like it was microwaved. This was definitely not what I was expecting and it tasted old and fishy. Visiting Denver and wanted to try a new restaurant! I've seen the chain of Yard House restaurants in other states but decided to give it a try today. We walked in starving and with no reservations. The ladies that greeted us and the one that seated us were not friendly or seemed customer oriented. However, my server (Dylan is her name) was so friendly and so sweet! She gave us suggestions on food and was very patient. Before getting our order in, a gentleman was at the bar and was being belligerent, slurring his words and rude (drunk). He made a scene and was escorted out! The bathroom was okay on a cleanliness level but someone came in while I was there and cleaned up. :) Our food came out and it all tasted great! Dessert was delicious! Happy we chose to stay even though we didn't receive a warm reception. That's the only reason I'm giving a four! read more

Easy place to grab a meal. Service was good. We came in on a Friday afternoon with 8 people and they we're easily able to accommodate us. They were also super accommodating off all the baggage we had with us from traveling. The food was reasonably priced and all came out good and pretty fast. Using the tablets makes splitting checks simple. Our server was super helpful in recommending beers and helping to guide us to the best choice. I have never been to this restaurant, but it was our only option (not our first but the only one nearby that was open) for a late night snack. Now, I know this is not a 5 star place, but I would give it those stars if I could. My first experience was great, besides the wait - that was due to 40% capacity for COVID restrictions- but once we got our seats, the service and the meal made up for the wait. My hubby opted for the beef slider appetizer and I had their version of a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Now, I don't know if it was because we had recently gotten off a plane, because we were very hungry, because where I live the food is so-so, or because we were in the mile high city!....Whatever it was, this was the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long time! I mean, if I were to do a chicken sandwich, I would do it EXACTLY like this! The drinks, the mini burgers, everything else hit the right spot in my tummy! Plus, the great, friendly service is always the cherry on top! I slept real good after that meal. Anyway, people that live in these parts are not particularly impressed, its an everyday chain restaurant, but it's not for me, so this was a good first experience. After the host seated our large party separate in two booths, the manager Greg was more than accommodating to make a big table work for all 18 of us exclaiming, "find a way to say yes is our motto!" Kim our server was meticulous with everyone's order and even the food expeditor knew which seat each entree belonged to. Normally I'm not picky, but I didn't love my food after the first bite and Kim quickly sprung into action. I had an alternative entree in minutes. They have a pretty great happy hour with tasty apps & good brews! 3PM to 6 PM, M-F ~ half-priced select appetizers + $2 off all beer, wine, spirits & cocktails & $4 off half-yards! We got the poke nachos for food, and after much deliberation I finally chose a dark beer that sounded good, but sadly they were out :( the second one I wanted was also unavailable, so I had to go with one that I had tried before. It was still good, but obviously I wanted to try something different. So that was kind of a bummer that some of their beers weren't available, but otherwise, they do have a great selection. My second time at Yardhouse was definitely better - we went for lunch with my work crew. Yardhouse was just about the only place that would accept lunch reservations for a group of 20+! Took 4 stars away for the extremely rude waiter who was a complete assh*le to me and gave 2 stars back for my waitress who was great after I told the manager I wanted a new person to serve my table. Overall my experience here was mixed. As previously mentioned I had a big issue with the first waiter who was completely rude and a total jackass to me, but had another waitress who was awesome. Other than that I had the poke bowl and the flavors of my meal were very good. The beer menu is vast and has some very tasty beers to try out. The price of the food and beers are a little steep for the amount and quality you get but I suppose you are paying for the location as well. My wife and I came here on a Saturday night for a late night dinner and we have a wonderful time. I ordered the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and it was outstanding. We had two servers who were so sweet and you rarely experience that in a group like this! The location was good and in a busier part of town so the view was good for it being my first time in downtown Denver. I had the poke bowl which I was surprised by. As soon as I walked in, I was promptly greeted by the hostess. She asked how many was in my party, and I told her I was eating alone, and she suggested that I could take any seat available around the silver bar. Once I found a decent seat, I was welcomed by not just one server, but by several servers and was given both a drink menu and food menu. Upon looking through my beverages, I settled for a pint of beer, and continued browsing the food options. Once the waiter came back, I mentioned that I see the Yards favorites, but which was 'His' favorite. He did offer a suggestion, and when I asked about the brisket ravioli, he said it was one of their newer items, and people seem to love it....so I went with that. He did ask if I wanted an appetizer, but since I was alone, I declined. While watching a few College games on the large screens, and watching the staff work hard, my meal promptly came out; looked and smelled amazing. From my first bite to the last, it was excellent. I almost wanted more, but glad I didn't. Once that was complete, several other waitresses showed up and were just as friendly as the other waiters. I decided I wanted dessert, and chose the mini apple/peach cobbler with caramel ice cream. Didn't know the exact size, but it was a perfect ending to an already great meal.
