This place use to be something special, don't know what happened in the past couple of years but the quality of food has seriously declined, ordered a Italian grinder today ,first thing and most importantly they don't use the same bread as they use to, and also the greens were withered and definitely not fresh. I initially was going to replace the chicken with the fried sweet potato but the employees recommended I get the chopped cooked sweet potato instead as it would fit better. I went back after a several months and sadly the food quality has gone down. They must've changed where they sourced their chicken. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was like a flat patty. Almost like those frozen chicken patties you throw in the microwave. It wasn't the crispy breading with a big chuck of chicken like before. I thought when I first opened it that they forgot to put the chicken in it was so thin and no breading. Anyways it made me sad because I loved this place and hyped it up all the time. Thanks for the good tip Yelp! We wanted a good sandwich for lunch on vacation, so we found Worth. The location and restaurant are really cute. We walked afterwards and took pics by colorful murals. It was a super hot day, but the outdoor patio was nicely cooled by the mist. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with side salad and my daughter ordered a turkey, bacon and cheese with fries. The sandwiches are a little pricey, but so tasty!! The roast beef had a nice horseradish crema and dressed greens that made it flavorful. It was large enough that I only ate half and saved the other half for the next day. The fries have a nice seasoning that I really enjoyed, but might not be for everyone (too much for my teen). I stopped by for lunch and to work remotely for a bit. FOOD: I ordered their Ciabatta Crispy Chicken Sandwich along with fries and ketchup. FYI, If you prefer ranch with your fries like me, it's an extra $1. I will have to admit, I had high hopes for my meal based on other yelp reviews and pictures. However, my sandwich was rather simple for my liking. I was hoping the Ciabatta bread would be fresh but instead it was a bit dry and stale. The chicken wasn't exciting and my fries were also lacking seasoning. Unfortunately, I don't think it was worth my $17 (no drink in that price) but I won't call it quit's on this place just yet! AESTHETICS & AMBIANCE: I loved their decor, colors and interior design. The place felt cozy and welcoming. You can't forget the bathroom! Their bathroom was also very clean and aesthetically pleasing. If you are considering bringing your laptop to work remotely for a bit, I do have to point out that naturally, it gets busy and a bit noisy between Noon to 2pm (The time that I was there). Just thought I would point this out for anyone who prefers a more quiet workspace. They do have bar seating which is where I was able to comfortably work. It was the special of the day and was made to "mimic" the McRib. Well, they didn't mimic it... they surpassed it! I just went here last week with a friend, and it looked a lot different than when I came a few times before the pandemic! The decor and set up is fresh and aesthetic. The space is also clean and easy to walk around despite having plenty of seating in a small space. I had the chicken bacon on a bowl. The service was so friendly and accommodating for any questions and requests. Cold water is easily accessible with a station on the inside. Overall, very nice ambiance. Finally got to try this famous sandwich place in Mesa! And I'm glad I did :) It's a cute small place, has nice indoor/outdoor sitting areas, and people here are friendly! I had buffalo chicken (sandwich) bowl style, it comes with salad and roasted sweet potatoes instead of bread, which made me feel less guilty oh and the chicken is super tender and chewy, the sauce is super flavorful!! Thick, moist perfectly seasoned meatloaf with pickles fried onions straws with havarti cheese on crispy chewy focaccia bread. Side of seasoned had to be hand cut fries. SOOO GOOD. She got the crispy chicken sandwich. We swapped halves to get the whole experience. Crispy seasoned chicken with well balanced tang, spice, saltiness, pickles, greenage and mayo on that same great fresh focaccia bread. This hit the spot. Great vibes and friendly service. Wow. I have had this place bookmarked for several years. I finally made it in on Saturday. We went to the cat show at the Mesa Convention Center. Knowing we would want lunch afterwards, I consulted my Yelp bookmarks. There was Worth. I thought that it was time to go. This is a place that doesn't have easy parking. However, parking isn't difficult. We found a spot down the street and walked about five minutes. The space is small with a few tables inside and another few outside. We ordered at the counter. I had the shredded pork sandwich. WOW! It was delicious. Tender, beautiful, and amazing. Sandwiches are brought to your table by a friendly employee. All employees were friendly and it was evident that the owners care about the experience here with the amount of attentiveness from everyone.
