The space is very open and has plenty of seating. There is a kiosk at the front where you can browse the menu and enter in your order. When your order is ready, your order number will be called and you can get it at the counter. FOOD: ~Mul Nengmyun (3.5/5): flavor was just okay. Had a good amount of veggies and a hefty portion of noodles. ~Yukgaejang Kalguksu (4/5): Flavorful broth (nice and spicy) and the noodles had a great texture ~Spicy pork dolsot bibimbap (5/5): This dish hit the spot for me. It was piping hot and made the nice layer of crispy rice at the bottom. The pork was flavorful. ~Sides: loved all the sides from the veggies, fish cake, kimchi, and soup Thoroughly enjoyed majority of the food here and will likely return if I'm craving basic Korean food.

I do really like the online menu, where you can see big clear pictures of each dish. Inside the restaurant they do have small paper copies of the menu (without pictures) that you can use to choose your order before entering it on the kiosk. Taste of Korea is strictly self-service. You place your order on the electronic kiosk inside the front door. You also pick up your order from the counter and bus your table as well. Water is self-service too, which is good. I ordered the B5. Sizzling Stone Pot Bibimap. It was pretty good and I especially liked the banchan that came with it. But as I mentioned, the portion size was small (and the amount of beef skimpy), though you do have the option of adding extra ingredients for a price. Some pieces of the meat did have an off-flavor. There was a cup of broth (not miso) that came with the bibimap but it had no flavor. It was like drinking warm water. JP ordered the C6. Korean Style Pork Belly. The pork belly was very good and this dish also came with banchan and broth. We also ordered the Spicy Baby Octopus. It wasn't super spicy but it had a very delicious sauce. But probably more onion than octopus. We also ordered the Chicken Bulgogi, which was excellent. However, these two dishes only came with rice, and not banchan. I doubt we will come back because of the price vs. quantity ratio.

Prices were average high, I wouldn't come here every night but once a week or every so often absoLUTEly. Definitely worth the price, everyone was so nice, the atmosphere was not at all aggressive, very soothing, and left me and my hubby just sunken in our seats going do we haffa leave? 10/10 recommend! It's not cheap nor expensive, just right in the middle. Dress however and be kind as the waitstaff and owner were SUPER nice.. ugh.. I never leave reviews but this place was amazing. And thanks so much to our waitress! I'm so so sorry I forgot her name but she was SO helpful to me and my husband!

I wish they had the gimbap on the menu for me to order normally because I really liked the piece that one of the owners gave me to try. Ashley was awesome and I enjoyed talking to her and the other bar patrons. Will be back next time I'm in the state.

But inside it's sprawling with life. Most importantly, the locals that dine here are all Korean families. That's how you know it's good! They're known for their Gamjatang (Pork Neck potato soup). Now this is not your average Gamjatang.... theirs is bursting out the cauldron haha almost looks like a pork mountain! The best part is, all that meat was only $16. INSANE. $16 in this economy? I don't know how they do it for that price, but I'm not complaining. I almost want to gate keep this one because I'm scared the humble price will go up haha but they deserve their flowers.

It's clearly a local favorite--many Korean patrons were enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. I went with two of the more popular dishes: the black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) and the spicy seafood noodle soup (jjamppong). Both were flavorful and satisfying. The broth in the seafood noodles was rich and bold, and the black bean sauce had that deep, savory kick I was hoping for. Service is minimal but efficient, and the vibe is casual and welcoming. Great spot for a quick, tasty meal that feels authentically Korean (American).

What feels like a hidden gem serves some of the best Korean cooking I've tasted. The bossam was incredibly aromatic and came with a massive portion of fresh kimchi that was cut tableside, making for a fun dining experience. Together, it was more than enough to satisfy two hungry diners. The banchan selection was equally impressive and paired beautifully with the meal. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, while the service felt warm, genuine, and comforting, almost like dining in someone's home. My only suggestion would be to offer a more fermented kimchi option as a side dish. All of the kimchi we tried was very fresh, and I personally would have loved a tangier, more developed flavor. Overall, this is an easy 10 out of 10. I would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

Appetizers are a bit on the pricey side ranging from $9 to $19, however the more expensive ones are large portion sizes. We couldn't finish both the appetizer and entree before getting full. Entrees are the typical prices between $15 to $20 with the special dishes being more than that. The 4 star is mostly because of the prices, but the experience was good. The service is great and everyone is very attentive and ready to recommend dishes and provide refills.

The tangsuyuk here is the closest I've come to my fave so far with great batter and crispiness. The sweet and sour sauce was thicker and had less vegetables than I'd like but was still good and I appreciated that it was served on the side without me having to ask. The Jajangmyeon wasn't speaking to me as much, but I still ate it! As someone who frequently dines solo, I really appreciated the combo menu options. It can be tricky to order Chinese or Korean food when a lot of places do family style portions for sharing. I often wind up with more food (and a bigger check) than I need for just me! The combo option was still a huge serving but not overwhelming and it was a great price!
