Randomly found this place on google and I can say i definitely want to some here again! The banchan was a good variety of stuff i was surprised there were so much. We got the bossam, seafood pancake, and bulgogi w/ steamed rice. The lady working was so nice she even showed us how to eat the bossam. Everything was so good!

Bon Ga was very packed when I got there for dinner with family. It isn't a big place, but they have enough seating for at least 30 people. Despite the small location, they have a lot on their menu. It reminds me of the old ToSokJip, but BonGa def has more items on the menu. I got to try the Kalguksu and donkatsu. I tried the less spicy version. It was savory, warm and filling. The donkatsu was thin, but very tough to chew. The cutlet was not tender at all and just super thin. I don't think it is worth the money to order it. The side dishes weren't to my liking as there was no consistency in the flavors. As far as the service goes, it was quite busy and there were some tables that could have been arranged in order to seat more people.

Authentic must-try korean food. Try their Bossam! Def a dish to be shared between 2-4 people since the you can soon have too much of the pork. The ajummas were nice so no complaints on service. Vibes felt comfy and homey similar to what I'd feel in Korea. Don't make my mistake and think the sauce they bring out is sesame when in fact its horseradish. Recommended!

This was one of the places in NoVA that I'd go to often if I was craving bibim nang myun back when we used to live here. I was back for a visit and decided to grab dinner here. It is just as great as I remember! Actually, it was even better than I remember (probably part of that being because I haven't found a traditional Korean food place that is this good in Vegas yet). I ordered a few dishes that I could eat over the next few days. I ordered the bibim nang myun, kimchi jeon, and bulgogi dup bap. The kimchi jeon was actually pretty addicting, lol! I was planning to only taste a little before eating the nang myun, but I kept eating more and more. The dipping sauce is absolute perfection--delicious balanced flavors with blend of vinegar, soy sauce, and some aromatic veggies like peppers. I find that a lot of Korean places get the sauce all wrong, but it was the best! The kimchi pancakes were just like I'd expect. They were flavorful, crisp on the edges, and just the right amount of kimchi to pancake ratio. The bulgogi was so good in an interesting way! Interesting because it goes against what I've been encountering with bulgogi in Vegas and just in general at a lot of places, which is over-the-top sauce and flavors. This bulgogi was not like that. It had such a soft, natural flavor with a really good, well-rounded after-taste. It wasn't overly saucey which I also find a lot of Korean places get wrong. This bulgogi just tastes real and authentic. It's closest to what my mom used to make. More noticeable flavors and more sauce isn't always best. Most Korean places don't get this and just go haywire with the sauces and extra spices. Bibim nang myun was just what I expected and just how a remember. Delicious flavor and beautifully prepared, even in a take out bowl! Last but not least, the service was so great! The people there were so friendly and happy, and I felt welcomed there. Even though I didn't dine in, I did go inside to place my order and pick it up, and I also thought the place was clean and well-kept. So happy I got to revisit this old favorite of mine. I really miss the Korean food in this area!

People used to rave about the donkatsu and come here just for it for it. It's ginormous. I recently tried it for take out and it was no bueno. The katsu is pounded out so thin and over fried. It was impossible to eat. Dousing in the sauce only helped a little. Mac salad was bland but good (if that makes sense). I'll come back but not for katsu or naeng myun.

"I feel like my Korean aunties just invited me to their place and whipped up a meal for my friends and I." If this seems like your vibe, you've found the room of requirements for a delicious home cooked meal at Bon Ga! You're welcomed in by the friendliest staff ever. They are patient in allowing you to soak in the artwork, special menu items but quick to bring you utensils you may have clumsily dropped, refill your cold or hot water, and know when to bring another cold beer/soju! We were a larger party and I am embarrassed to admit it was my first time here since new ownership but so glad I got to experience the new ownership because this place HIT THE SPOT. Spicy raw crab? Seafood pancakes? Bossam? Donkatsu? Kalguksu? You're telling me I can get all the Korean classics and my favorites all in one place? The side dishes were delicious as well and we even debated on packing up some of it; I would happily pay for a portion to take home! I woke up debating on going back for lunch. I was really impressed with all the flavors being spot on and I felt like I was back in Korea enjoying a no frill gooood Korean meal. Thanks for the great meal, service, and next time, I'll have to pack the leftovers because I am seriously regretting not taking some Bon Ga goodness home for later.

Visiting Nova for the weekend and met up with a friend for dinner. Wanted to get some Korean food so we ended up at Bon Ga. The store was pretty small on the inside, maybe 9-10 tables? We didn't have to wait, but we got squished into a corner at a small table just for the two of us. Service was friendly and the food was good. Both of us got the 짬뽕 and it was delicious! Huge bowl came out, filled with seafood like crabs, mussels, squid, shrimp. You can get it with either noodles or rice on the side. The whole meal was like digging for treasure in the red broth. The portion size was huge. I could barely finish it. It was a struggle, but a delicious struggle. Would come again in the future to try other things. Also it wasn't too $$$ for what you get so

Very cute restaurant! Upon walking in there's a few tables & chairs giving for a homey atmosphere. The staff is so sweet - they're all very nice & attentive. I tried the seafood pancake & soon du bu with perilla seed powder. The pancake was crispy - wasn't the biggest fan of octopus but still good. I liked my soon du bu - comforting & flavorful. I'm a pescatarian so there's not too many options for me but the ones I tried were good!

Came here for lunch and thought the food fell a bit flat. It wasn't bad, but I was expecting more. Starting with the bulgogi: this was overcooked and saltier than bulgogi I've had at other restaurants. I felt similarly about the haemul soondubu - it was a bit too salty. The kimchi jeon looked beautiful, but I personally prefer well fermented kimchi and was hoping for a tangy punch. This version felt a bit one-dimensional and lacking in flavor. I wouldn't be opposed to coming back, but there are better options in Centreville.

I got the mackerel and soybean paste tofu stew combo! 10/10 The place is small and cozy. A nice spot to eat alone lol for a little quiet me time and the owners are so sweet! Will definitely be back

Our friend said this was one of her favorite restaurants so we can to try it out. This is a small mom and pop shop serving up really authentic Korean food. We got a couple of things to try and everything was so good! The Bo Ssam had a great flavor and paired well with their different kimchi. The noodles were like none I had before - an earthy spicy flavor and great chewy texture. Would love to come back a try some other dishes! YUM! Anytime I trek out to deep VA, I always try to find a new Korean or Chinese place. Bon Ga did not disappoint. We came pretty late, but atmosphere was inviting and cafe like. The workers were very friendly and helped us out with our Makgeolli stirring. The food was delicious! The tofu kimchi was deliciously marinated and the portions were huge. You definitely were getting what you paid for. So much better than anything you can find in DC proper. Would definitely recommend this spot. The only reason it is getting 4 stars is because it did not have the gluten free options labeled.

Excellent Korean food on par with a lot of places you would find in the Annandale area. Started with the Mondo which were very crispy and thin. Very light filling. Pancake was spicy and light as well. Not over battered. The namyaeun noodles were soupless but the spicy sauce made it very tasty. And the pork cutlet was the winner. Super light gravy on top with purple rice on the side. Amazing service as well. Hard workers
