Honestly, this place just really wasn't good. I've never been to a Korean restaurant that charges you for kimchi. It's such a small amount and it's not even that good. Also, I ended up ordering something that I didn't know what it was because there were no pictures. When I got the order, I told them I didn't want it and was hoping to switch it for something else. They would not sub it for me and I had to buy a new entrée that was $18. I would really also appreciate if they would not give me so much cheese and then charge me three dollars extra for it. There was way too much cheese in this food and I love cheese. The music is too loud and it's just uncomfortable both seating inside and outside.
I've been here maybe twice now. The first time I came here I ordered the Korean chicken wings which I wasn't in love with. This most recent time I ordered the Chicken Katsu with some sauce it was alright. The portion of chicken was good, but it tasted more like chicken nuggets than chicken katsu. We ordered this spot and went and ordered Karé bar and had both. I honestly preferred Karé Bar. However, Sirok gives you more food and better pricing. As for quality it wasn't bad, it was good, I just reallyyy enjoyed Karé in comparison. The ambiance inside is super casual and the staff are helpful. Overall, decent spot. I'll probably try it again and see if some of the more traditional Korean dishes are better like their spicy tofu soup.
It's more like a 3.5/5 but Yelp doesn't have half stars. I want to love this place but just can't get myself to. My fiancée and I have ordered the fried chicken as well as the chicken katsu and while they're slightly above average, they don't blow us away. The fried chicken didn't taste much better than that from the place right next door, and that's not a high bar honestly. The chicken katsu was definitely better in my opinion but it had a very cheap fried taste to it. It may be the flavor profile some people prefer, just not my cup of tea. The service is typically quick but now even the service is not mandatory since they have kiosks now. But there's always someone at the counter who can help if needed. There's some seating inside and a couple of claw machines. I personally think that they don't do anything one thing well. It's the mind of place where everything is slightly above average so you never walk away with that WOW moment.
Sirok is a quick and easy way to enjoy some good Korean food. The kiosk system is easier than most and electronic posters offer suggestions of what to order. On the day we went, we had bibim guksu, ddukbokki and bibimbap. Along with these dishes, you can choose a side so we opted for both the yellow radish which is crisp and delicious and the kimchi. We also ordered spring rolls. Although it took a little longer to have our order called than I would have expected, everything arrived hot and soon trays covered our little table. Each dish was different and each was tasty and a very generous serving. For the bibimbap, make sure to add the sauce to give it that flavor punch. The bibim Guksu also has a great sauce. There are a lot of yummy noodles. Our favorite was the ddukbokki which not only had a great sauce but such a wonderful texture. There was no way we could finish everything but, not to worry, because Sirok has easily available to go containers. We appreciated not only this convenience but also the fact that they had a cold water dispenser so you didn't have to buy bottled water if you didn't want to. The parking lot is large and right outside. We will be sure to be pulling in to a space sometime soon to try some of the other dishes on offer.
Not a fan. I got the beef (bulgogi) kimbap and the meat had an unpleasant and odd texture - crumbly yet mushy. It was also too salty and one-note, and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. It didn't come with a sauce, which was another let-down. My order was ready pretty quickly, but the service was chaotic. I would not come back and don't recommend. There are far better places for kimbap!
FOOD I wasn't looking for a meal, so ordered the regular French fries. They were made to order, crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. The contrasting textures were to die for, and something I'd definitely return to get again! As it was made to order, it was a bit on the oilier side, but nothing napkins can't blot. DRINKS Fountain and bottled drinks are available for purchase. Tap water is available in the water cooler between the kiosks. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! Ordering by kiosk is for guests paying by card, and ordering at the front is for guests paying with cash. AMBIANCE Ample seating is available inside the store. BATHROOMS The bathroom is clean and tidy. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot in front of and behind the restaurant that is shared with Chateau de Chantilly, Qui, and other restaurants in the same complex.
An indecisive mood had me thinking fried chicken and Korean food sounded like a plan. I initially heard about SIROK due to the spicy fried chicken sandwich, so I wanted to start there. My order was the spicy pork kimbap and spicy fried chicken sandwich. The kimbap came out first. It's a nice sized roll. Cool, slightly spicy, and the veggies are crispy. I wasn't sure which version I wanted to go with and was happy with my choice. Spicy fried chicken sandwich was out next. It has slaw, thinly sliced onion, their sauce, and slices of jalapeno. I couldn't tell if the only heat came from the jalapenos, but another good choice. I'd say it's a low-level spicy. With all the sauce, coleslaw, and toppings, it starts to get a little bit messy, but not too bad. My wife had the chicken sandwich (not spicy, no coleslaw) and the waffle fries. The waffle fries are your standard version.
Came here on a Sunday morning for brunch around 10:30/11:00. Only 2 tables were taken at that point. You order at the counter, and they call your order number for you to pick up at the counter. They have only a few tables for party of 4. We ordered the chicken katsu, bibimbap, and soondooboo. The chicken katsu was good--just a tad bit dry. The bibimbap was AMAZING-fresh and lots of veggies. Soondooboo was good but the mussels were a bit cracked and off. They have water that you can self serve. Would come back! Plenty of parking in the back lot.
Like to try new places and fast casual makes more sense these days with the higher cost of going out. The option to order in person or via the kiosk makes the service fast and convenient. I especially liked the Sirok gimbap. We also ordered the chicken fried rice and dumpling soup. Portions are large for the price and taste good for fast casual. Although, the fried rice could have used more seasoning. I'm sure if you like spicier dishes, they would have more taste
A fast casual Korean food place right next door to one of the biggest bakeries in Northern Virginia. This place is great if you are looking for something quick and cheap as Sirok has you covered. I was hungry so I ended up ordering a lot more than I normally do. Walking inside, there's a kiosk you can place an order on or you can just also use the counter for whatever is more convenient for you. I got Bibimbap, an absolute Korean classic. It came with soup, gochujang, everything you'd expect in one big bowl and rice on the side. It was delicious and with the soup added, that was also a surprise as I added rice to that and it had a great taste to it too. I also got Kimbap, something I would recommend to bring as a snack. You really can't go wrong with this as the roll is cut up into bite size pieces so you could snack on this whenever. It's even good cold too! Sirok lives up to it's name as it's Korean Street Food and more. Affordable prices, quick service when it came to food being made, and generous portions. Can't complain about that!
Having lunch with my wife trying this Korean street food restaurant for first time. Lots of options to select in this small simple self service restaurant. I should have looked at the main menu board instead of just looking at the kiosk. It provides more of what is in the dishes. We selected the Spicy seafood Ramen with 3 pork dumplings combo and Tonkatsu Gimbap. I've been wanting to try Korean spicy seafood ramen for a long time. It did not disappoint. It was spicy but enjoyable. Really good amount of Ramen and Seafood. I would definitely get it again maybe a bit more spicy. The Gimbap was generously portioned and delicious. The pork dumplings was nicely fried and juicy. Will definitely return to try the fried chicken sandwich, burger, and other dishes.
If you're craving some comfort Korean food then Sirok has your back. We visited Sirok while in the area, and it wasn't too shabby. Located in a busy shopping strip with a ton of Korean eateries around, Sirok offers a lot on their menu, from Korean fried chicken and smash burgers with a Korean twist, to traditional noodle soups and rice dishes. The space isn't too large, but is big enough for some groups and whatnot. You order and pay at the counter where you're given a buzzer. Once the buzzer goes off, that's when it's time to pick your food up at the counter. It's a casual spot. We visited on a Friday for lunch and the place was pretty busy, with a few parties dining in. I ordered the dumpling ramen soup, which was solid. The portion was a good size, and on the side was some kimchi. No one had complaints about their food. Everything was standard, but good. I can see why Sirok is popular. Overall, it's a good spot for some Korean eats in a busy shopping area.

Great, casual Korean spot! Perfect for lunch or dinner. It's cute inside with a few seats and a lovely cashier who gave great recommendations. The Pork Fried Dumplings were great and an awesome portion size. The Chicken Katsu was wonderful and also a large portion size! The Bulgogi Dupbap was awesome and the plate was massive! I needed to grab a quick lunch and decided to check this place out. It felt more like a fast food kind of vibe as you basically order upfront at the kiosk and then they'll call your number at the counter. Food came out fairly quickly and the kimbap tasted really good! I know I didn't do a great job taking a photo, but as you can kind of see, Sirok kimbap came with lots of ingredients inside. And I can say this as I have made kimbap many times myself, it's really an effort when you have multiple ingredients, so I thought it was worth it, overall, quick and easy yet delicious Korean street food option! read more

The tuna kimbap is amazing especially because they put small pieces of raw onion in it! It cuts the fishy smell and adds sweetness. Tteokbokki was also nice and not too spicy thank goodness. I picked up my order and the cashiers looked tired but were friendly! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday morning when they first opened. Parking is available and free although if busy, you may need to park across the street in the larger parking lot- but its free and not a garage. We ordered 3 gimbap (vegetable, beef & spicy pork), and an order of cheesy tteokboki (rice cake). The gimbaps are HUGE, and full of veges - carrots, burdock @ more. The vege and beef were delicious, and the spicy prlork had a little smokey flavor. I wish kimchi came with our order but we received some soup. We ordered a side of pickled radish. The tteobokki was a little spicy, but flavorful. The texture was good although I prefer they not overcook it so its not too soft. I would come back again, and maybe try the rice dishes next time. read more
true korean street food- we ordered Ramen dumpling, crispy chicken sandwich and bulgogi dinner. Super satisfying food. The service is quick, the vibe is local casual eatery. All food coming out of this kitchen looks authentic and delicious. We went here in hopes of going to the bakery next door after dinner. The food at Sirok was so good, we were too full for desert! First time ordering...just a small order for carryout Super fast ordering online, it was ready when I got there. The lady was very nice and surprised to find a small side of broth soup with my order. Sirok kimbap looked beautiful, freshly made and tasted great! One filled me up! I will try other items on their menu now that I know it's worth going back! read more

Beef kimbap is so yummy and affordable. It's a good ratio of rice to filling. Usually, when I order kimbap, they fill up with a lot of rice, so you don't get to enjoy the filling, but as you can see from the photo, this is not the case. The kimbap also came with a soup side, which was warm and aromatic. The dining area is clean for the most part, but I came on a Thursday night for takeout, and there weren't too many people inside. It's great for a quick bit and the cashier and workers are fast, nice, and efficient. Definitely coming back here when I'm craving kimbap! read more

Fast and casual Korean restaurant with delicious food! Felt authentic. There is a helpful option to order on a kiosk, and we received our food quickly. I asked for a non-spicy alternative and was met with accommodating service. Bibimbap: Fresh vegetables, came with soup and kimchi. Donkatsu: Happily received a big portion! We ordered take out from Sirok and I couldn't decide what to get so I settled on cheese ramen. Definitely wasn't worth the price because it didn't have any meat or garnishes. It was just ramen with egg and a slice of cheese. I would give it another try and order something else. read more
Sirok is an eye catching place as you pass by it with its yellow wall and signage. Came here Sunday afternoon for lunch and ordered Dontaksu (pork cutlet) and janchi guksu (thin noodles in anchovy broth). Sirok serves bunsik type of foods like kimbap, noodles, katsu, etc.. The concept is a self serve and a self sit down establishment. They have about 20 seating spots inside. You order either through a Kiosk or in person and they'll call out your order once it is ready. The katsu and noodle dish was disappointing to say the least. The katsu was fried twice. Normally, the pork cutlet is fried as a whole piece and then cut. I think they fried the whole piece, cut it into slices and then fried it again. The picture I took shows it has been fried again after cutting. This made the meat incredibly tough and hard to chew. The sauce that came with it was ice cold. It was not a good Donkatsu dish. It had a big crunch factor, but meat was very dry from over frying. The noodles were overcooked and dissolved as you put into your mouth. The noodles absorbed so much of the broth as well. I would not come back here. read more
Pros 1. You can order at the kiosk or online if you want. 2. All the korean comforts you're craving if you don't want korean fried chicken or korean barbecue. 3. Better korean food than what's offered in chantilly lotte. 4. Good size portion. Peanut sauce for cole slaw is delicious! Donkatsu sauce and peanut sauce packaged separately. Cons 1. A little expensive. The food was good so I wasn't too upset. 2. No paper menu available. You need to access by qr code or this website http://order.pbsus.com/sirok 3. Soup spilled in bag. Probably my fault but still annoyed. In short, worth a try. Beats going to herndon hmart, Centreville or Annandale. Can't wait to try the gimbap and dumplings next time. read more
Love the concept of fast casual where you order from a tablet and pick up at the counter. The order came out fast. Prices were reasonable. We got the bulgolgi gimbap ($10), bibim goksu noodles ($11) and an order of waffle fries ($3). The food was fresh. The gimbap was prepared and cut meticulously. Bibim noodles were spicy and delicious. Veggie toppings were fresh. The fries were slightly overcooked (hard) but then again its fries at a korean restaurant lol. We were given two sides of miso soup but no kimchi as the other reviewer mentioned :( One drawback is the dining room is very small. So if they get busy, dine-in might become an issue. Overall, would come back for sure. read more
Honestly a very good place for a quick bite or a big meal. The inside of the restaurant is not big but has a decent amount of seating. You can order at the front or on the machine and pick it up right there, and there is also an option to order online where they pack the food in to-go containers. The atmosphere was kind of casual. Food came out quick and delicious. The portions for the noodle dishes were pretty generous! And you cant go wrong with myungga kimbab - glad to see it. I will be back for more. read more

I went here with my dad, because we were waiting for this place to open after hearing it is Korean street food. I ordered the Tteokbokki, Sirok Kimbap, and my dad ordered the Seafood Ramen. The ordering process felt a little awkward for me, but food was piping hot and great. I realized that this place is from the same folks from Myung-Ga (not 100% certain), but I loved their tteok. It was nice and chewy and their kimbap was also pleasant to eat. New place in Chantilly but same ownership as MyungGa in Centreville....so just as awesome! The place has like 15 tables that could fit 2-4 people. It's right next to Chateau. Order at the kiosk or online. Not hard at all and makes it quick and easy. Came by for an early weekday lunch and it was kinda busy. I waited about 5 min for my food. I got the house sirok kimbap which is my favorite and has generous filling for a great price. Also got some seasoned waffle fries which are great! If you like MyungGa and closer to Chantilly then check it out. Food is consistently good! read more
I'm not sure why I wasn't interested in trying this place until today but I have no regrets! Ordered through Uber eats, everything was amazing. I got the Sirok kimbap, cheese rabokki & bimbim guksu. Just a heads up the portions are HUGE, this ended up being enough food for 3-4 people. Totally worth the price! Definitely plan on going there next time, I was impressed by the freshness when getting delivered I can only image how good it is in person. read more

Sirok offers comfort-style Korean eats, such as various noodle and soup dishes, rice dishes, fried chicken, and burgers. We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +the Cheese Ddukbokki - comes in a large bowl and topped generously with shredded mozzarella cheese; there were larges pieces of rice cake, but I wished they put more in, as there were only about 6 pieces or so +the SIROK Chicken - large chicken breast with cider slaw, pickles, and Sirok Sauce in a brioche bun; this was just okay; I think the cider slaw and the sauce made it a bit too overwhelming, so perhaps just a naked chicken sandwich with pickles would have sufficed +the SIROK Smash Burger - 2 3 oz patties, Sirok Sauce, grilled onions, American cheese, and pickles in a brioche bun - we opted for a combo, which came with waffles fries and a fountain soda; the patties could have been more 'smashed-style', where it had the crispy edges; but, they were just thin, hand-formed patties; lots of toppings, which was appreciated and made it a messy meal; waffle fries were tasty, but seemed to be over-fried and was a little hard We didn't try the kimbop this time around, but maybe their Korean eats are more agreeable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and once you order up at the cashier, you wait for your ticket number to be called when your food is ready. I wish they had more food options, it was quite limited but I was willing to try something new. I'm a soup kind of guy, with the occasional bibim naengmyon. I ended up trying the Jjol Myun? It came with vermicelli style noodles, which I was very surprised about! The dish was good - it was mixed with an assortment of vegetables. The sauce was pretty interesting - kind of like a sweet or peanut butter taste. Not the usual gochujang taste. It almost tasted like a Vietnamese noodle dish. Nonetheless, I was very intrigued and found myself a new dish that I like! The kimbap was so-so. I think it's because I got vegetable only. Small restaurant serving korean street food at a reasonable price. Service was quick and very friendly. There's not a lot of seating. Good portion of food and delicious rabokki. read more
