This post is a little different from my usual because tonight had to be an Uber Eats kind of night, and honestly, White Castle deserves better than delivery photos. All I managed to capture was a soda and the empty boxes I demolished. I'll definitely be back to take proper pictures next time. It's been literally two decades since I last had White Castle, and it did not disappoint. Delectable, delicious, handheld mini morsels of perfection--this is comfort food at its finest. I ordered the Classic Slider Meal: two American-style sliders with mustard, extra grilled onions, and extra pickles, plus two jalapeño-style sliders with mustard, extra onions, and extra pickles. I upgraded to medium cheese fries and finished it off with a large grape soda. Delivery took about 30-40 minutes, but everything arrived hot and fresh, which honestly impressed me. No complaints at all. Unfortunately, an 18-wheeler and trailer won't fit in the parking lot, but when I get a little more time soon, I'll bobtail over and properly enjoy a full slider run. I'm glad I got my White Castle fix while I'm in Ohio, especially with Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas coming up next. We used to have a White Castle in San Antonio, and I truly miss it. With the right location--somewhere around 281 North, Stone Oak, or TPC Parkway--I think it would absolutely thrive today. So, I finally got to go to White Castle for Valentine's Day! I was so excited when I saw that they still had reservations available. I blindfolded my wife and drove to WC. When we arrived I had her pull down her blindfold and she laughed hysterically. We arrived to a packed house. We had to wait a few minutes past our reservation, but the staff was super apologetic and professional. We ordered the Love Cube which came with 8 sliders, 2 shareable sides, and two drinks. My wife also got an order of the Sriracha Shrimp Nibblers. I was impressed by how well they operated the table service for the Valentine's Day event. Unfortunately, they did not have the special Love Poition drink for Valentine's Day. This was definitely a fun experience and I'm glad I got to scratch it off of my bucket list. Having experienced multiple instances of fast food companies forgetting items in my order, I believe it is crucial for these establishments to prioritize accuracy and customer satisfaction. While I understand that mistakes happen, it is disappointing when important components of a meal are omitted. This not only disrupts the dining experience but also undermines the reputation of the brand. Thankfully the kids got their sliders and only items we were missing were the double jalapeño sliders for the wife and I. We were already in a rush to head to wonderlights and by the time we noticed the missing items, we were already on 270. Im going to make note that it's always this location that we've experienced discrepancies. We live near Westerville and my wife works near grandview. Was in a hurry and it was raining, so I opted for a quick drive thru lunch. So did everyone else. The wait was pretty long. After about an half hour, I was able to pay for my order and pick up my food. I just got 4 original sliders and added mustard. I was very thirsty so I also got a large coke. I went to another area to peacefully savor this tiny delight. It had been many years since I had one of these so I relished every bite. They were perfectly prepared and and yummy. Although there was a long wait time, it sure was worth it! The entire meal was hot and fresh and give my kudos to management and it's employees. I also made a compliment to the manager. When I saw the long lines, I said let me go inside. For whatever reason I thought it would be faster to then realize that it doesn't make a difference as orders come out based on the time/order it's placed. The person taking the orders was upbeat and also working the line. The worker preparing the sliders did so in such a manner they it was all placed accordingly and NOT sloppy. Obviously he takes pride in his work and it shows. The restaurant/inside was very clean and well maintained. I honestly can say that I enjoy eating here every once in a while. Being from the west coast, I was excited to try this place again. It had been years since my first whitecastle burger. Very disappointed. Upon entering, it took the staff of about 6 to take my order. I watched as 2 people "cooked" and the other just kind of watched and did nothing. The food was terrible. Cold and soggy. Really nothing to try here again, this is just another McDonald's or fast food chain that does nothing to produce a product to be proud of. Never again. read more

Yes, this is a White Castle, and yes, I'm giving it 5 stars. The service here is great and both the food and service are consistent every time we're here. These days that's a rarity in fast food experiences. When we're in the mood for tiny steamed sliders, we pull up to the drive through, order a random assortment from the menu, and trust that no matter how many things we order, they always seem to get it right. It's easy to bash on National fast food chains because, let's be honest, most of the time they deserve it, but I also believe in giving praise where it's due. I recently ordered the 1921 Two Slider Combo with a Dr. Pepper to drink. (Fun Fact: White Castle began in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas. Just wish their sliders were still 5 cents... Blame and curses go to the Fake "Federal" Reserve and their devaluing / inflation of our currency by removing the Gold Standard and constant continual printing and digitally injections of additional currency!) Went to white castle for breakfast and was plesantly surprised. They serve the burger sliders all day long. I got a few of the originals which were great. Also I got a meal of the sausage, egg and cheese sliders with hash-browns. Everything was pretty good. The person working the window was also very efficient, and friendly. I've been a White Castle fan for many years now. unfortunately today my opinion has changed. it's hard to give a positive rating when you never have a chance to try eat their food. after placing my order inside, I was still waiting for it 25 minutes later. the drive up window had cars coming and going. People were picking up their orders they placed online. it appears they just didn't care about the customers inside. I finally told them to cancel my order and I will just go next door to Arby's. which by the way was completed in about 5 minutes. If this location can't have any better service with 5 people behind the counter. there are plenty of other places that do. read more

We grew up with White Castle restaurant on Fordham Rd. Bronx, NY Probably 70 years ago when with a coupon it from the Daily News it was 5 for $1.00 We bought the frozen ones about 5 years ago here in California and the cellophane package was just put in the microwave for one minute. Yesterday we had them and the directions were completely different. Upwrap, wrap in paper towels , cook on each side for 30 seconds. Absolutely horrible wait time on Friday September 11 7:33-7:55. Typically the service is a bit slower compared to other fast food places but this appears to be common for all white castles. However, on this particular occasion I waited over 20 minutes for my food. I even shut my truck off because I sat so long and was wasting fuel. Normally I give places the benefit of doubt that maybe they had a huge order or a picky customer but upon finally receiving my food I saw two employees working hard (young girl at window and some older dude) but 3 other employees were literally dancing around and shooting trash like basketballs. I would give a negative if that was an option. I came through the drive through on Monday, August 17, 2020 between 8:45pm - 9:00pm. I don't have the exact time, because I was NOT given. Receipt for my order. WHERE DO I BEGIN. Let's start with the fact that I was rushing to get a coffee for my contractor who had been working all night and I needed to be at work by 9:30pm and it's location was 30 minutes away. Saying this to signify my time was limited. I placed my order of 2 large coffees with sugar and cream and a double cheese burger plain. Simple enough, Right? When I pulled around to the window there was one car at the window waiting for their order. Waiting, what seemed like 5-10 minutes, I approached the window, slightly antsy due to the time. The cashier, does not come to the window and acknowledge me. Instead he stands at the window with his back to me while he waits for the cook to prepare my plain double cheeseburger. The two coffees were sitting near the window already prepared. I waived my arms and hands, I speak out loud, then I eventually honk the horn to get the cashiers attention. The gentleman turns around irritated as I explain my time dilemma and that I would like to take the coffee and refund the burger if it was not ready. He gave me the coffee and indicated it wouldn't be much longer. I reiterated that I would be late for work and didn't have a moment to spare. The cashier became argumentative when I asked for my money back. I had the coffee but not the sugar and cream. And due to the time, I could not spare the time to stop at a different location looking for sugar and cream. I repeatedly asked for the sugar and cream, the refund or double cheese burger and all I received was negative attitude from both the cashier who was an African American male and the cook/manager a Caucasian male both very young in age. I was eventually given the coffee, cream, sugar, double cheese burger but the KICKER to the horrible ordeal was the cook throwing the sugar at me and saying "F" you. And he used the REAL WORDS. I returned the favor and drove off. First of all, these young kids have no work ethics and apparently have been trained improperly on customer service. I blame YOU, White Castles. And if these two gentlemen don't lose their jobs from this behavior, then that says a lot about your company. I will never return to such an establishment. read more

My dad worked for White Castle his whole adult life.. and these little sliders were my first hamburger as a baby, I have fond memories of my life with sliders weaved throughout . I'm in from out of town celebrating my dads life, who has passed away, in honor of him we had to stop by. As always, they were yummy but they also brought back so many memories. Fries were not fresh, burgers were mildly warm and also didn't seem incredibly fresh either. No napkins anywhere (this is not an exaggeration), drink machine had splashed/spilled soda pop all over the fountain area. Tables were wiped but had a film on them. Servers were all nice and prompt but in general the place was not clean or even comfortable. It just seemed like it's running about as marginal as you can get without getting popped for health code violations. Ignore the haters! White Castle burgers rank as one of my favorite fast food burgers and I'm not afraid to say it! Some Columbus Yelpers are saying that stores are unclean. Well look around the neighborhood where your White Castle is located and maybe you'll get an idea of what the inside is going to look like! This particular location is nestled safely away in the Suburbs, so it'll be cleaner and safer than others. Here's another pointer that might make you skeptics give White Castle another chance. Don't buy anything other than the original Slyders. No Cheese, No Chicken, No Fish. Just the burger with the onions and the pickles. Yum! I'll be honest and say that the fries are nothing special, and neither are the onion petals. A little mayo and ketchup make them more palatable. Barq's Red Cream Soda helps wash everything down. And let it be know, that I've never had digestion issues after eating White Castle! read more

Don't bother ordering pick up online. They offer on the app to pick up in store or drive thru (which you would think is faster and avoid the long wait in line) but they lock their lobby so you end up having to wait the 20 min anyway in line. This was my first time at a White Castle my husband couldn't wait to introduce me to the famous sliders. This was the first stop after we landed. The service was very slow. It took long time to get our order and double the time to receive it. Although the delicious smell of the onions made me think I was in for a treat when we ate our meal I wasn't impressed. The best part of this place was the waffle chicken sandwich and the very nice manager which you can tell tries to run a tight shift with the staff she has. Well what can I say and sum it up? I ordered 2 original sliders, 2 double cheeseburgers and a regular French fry. If you can believe it and it was around 4 pm when I went so traffic hadn't picked up just yet but it took approximately 15 minutes to receive my order. Yes 15 minutes. I almost drove off but because this order was for my niece and I knew she was hungry and requested that I got this was the only reason why I stayed. I actually turned my car off and waited. There was a car in front of me and their wait was pretty long but I just happen to time mine. I was in the drive thru area. I thought this was supposed to be a fast food restaurant. Now understanding that there are times when the lines are long inside or outside the restaurant or if they're short of staff but that was neither the case. One of the better White Castle's I've been to. Their food comes slightly hotter, fresher and a tad less salty than others. Yes, I agree with another reviewer that service was slow. I ordered my food when my daughter walked to Chipotle, a few stores down in the strip mall. She got her food and walked back before we got ours. However, the service was very friendly - not something I usually associate with White Castle. And it was nice being able to interact with staff without a bullet proof lucite barrier. read more
