6 Tender Meal Lemon Pepper Spicy Teriyaki

So a new place to try. Over all they are so close to being great. The flavors are a hot or miss. We got the 6 piece chick strips that comes with 2 sauces. He had the spicy teriyaki and lemon pepper. The spicy teriyaki had great flavor. Recommend getting the sauce on the bottom for best flavor, but it had not heat. I love spicy food but I did not taste any heat in it. The lemon pepper was great. The flavor stuck out and had a little kick to it. I'm willing to go back and try some bone in wings. But the cost of the food is a slightly more than what you are getting.

I've ordered from this location many times and their food seems to overall be the same consistency. Located on Lane, there is a huge parking lot so you never have to worry about that. You can call in an order, order on their website, or use a 3rd party app. I tried ordering online and unfortunately it was not working. No worries, I called in the order and the employee was very patient. I ordered jumbo wings, tenders, fries, and their new chicken tender sandwich. I had it for a 6:30 pickup time and ended up getting my food at 7PM. They were busy but an additional 30 minutes is a long time to wait. Let me first say that they have sooo many sauces it's awesome! I'm usually a honey BBQ gal so that was my favorite. I did try their honey mustard on my sandwich which was good too. I tried their kickin BBQ and it was more like a Buffalo sauce than bbq which I was disappointed about...unless they gave me the wrong sauce my accident on my tenders. My wings were barely sauced with the honey bbq so it made the chicken dry which was a bummer. The tenders were pretty good and juicy. I got the 6 piece and it was $10.99 which isn't bad. I got a huge portion for it. Their sandwich is 2 for $5 which is a steal!! I can't remember how much the wings are, but their fries are waffle fries and you can choose a rub for them too! I chose the mesquite Texas and I liked it! You can choose between a side of ranch or blue cheese with everything! The employees were very kind and patient as they battled through the business of dinner rush.

My friend had a bogo 4 piece chicken tender meal. So we got 2 meals for ~$13. We were able to order easily online and it was ready when we came to pick it up. It came with actually 5 chicken tenders, fries, and a can of sprite. The meal was very filling but I don't think the chicken is anything special. Very average. I got the garlic parmesan that was good but a little dry. Overall a filling meal for a nice price

This place was okay... The chicken was okay quality, I feel like the breading was way more overpowering than the chicken! The lemon pepper was pretty good and had a small kick. The spicy teriyaki was "meh", it did not taste spicy at all to me and was very mild-tasting. Overall, this place was okay but not by any means amazing. I think they need to work on their ratios of flavor or meat-batter quantity as well.

I got the Korean BBQ smash burger topped with Korean BBQ aioli, Cleveland Kraut Kimchi, gochugaru (korean chili flake) and scallion. I don't understand the smash burger craze since I like my burgers medium rare, but if I have to eat a smash burger to enjoy these toppings, I'm in! The heat, texture and combination of flavors were epic. The fries are well done too! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and this was even after 30 minutes. Nothing fancy but done amazingly well and very quickly. My burger was out in a few minutes. I will say that the pizzas I saw coming out of the kitchen will have me coming back to try one of them. It's inside the AmVets building on west broad street. Don't need to be a member as long as you're coming in to eat. The prices are pretty good on the food. The prices are amazing from the bar since it's AmVets. The server was actually the wife of the owner, Tammy, so that was a nice treat. She gave us the low down on the place and all the unique sauces they have. All made in house. Great info. Great service. The wings are a nice size. Comparable to Roosters and that's sayin something because Roosters wings are bigger than any I've ever had. We got fries and onion rings to start. Both yummy. Another patio told is to get the wizard sauce. Apparently it's a wing sauce but he said it's best on the sides. It was delicious on the onion rings. The sauce list is very unique and very diverse. I went with a classic, garlic parm. It was good. I've always wanted to try Alabama White. It was very tasty. If you like the horseradish flavor. Our friend got the scorpion wings and the kit him on fire. He got sample taster of the hottest one that's not even on the menu. It was Major Pain. He said he tasted awful but wow was it hot lol. It was super thick like a tomato paste. Other friend got honey smacks. It was pretty good. Not super hot but had a tingle for sure. The mean mug was pretty tasty. My husband got the hot honey and said it wasn't really very hot. Asian sticky. That one was good. Not hot. The ranch was weird. Pretty sure it was a dill dip lol. Tastes and looks like the dill dip I make for veggies. We would definitely go back. Only reason I did 3 starts was cuz my husband didn't find a sauce he likes so we will just have to try more next time!

Listen. This was a struggle in several ways. But worth it…read more I kept hearing great things about this, and I had some free time on a Wednesday, which is dollar wing day. Random lane closures on Broad made it a pain to get there. It is surrounded by rundown strip malls, and the access and parking are pretty bumpy. It's hard to get in: there are locked doors with buzzers, and it is not real clear which door you should use. There is a pickup door, very clearly marked, but the regular entrance is just a little portico, the entrance to the vets, so press one of the buzzers. Inside, it's a standard veterans hall. Dark, bar the main attraction, with tables, pool tables too, quiet in the afternoon. The wings part was pretty busy, with dine in and carry out customers. And I knew that, and I knew wings take a while, so I was prepared to wait. Service was excellent, friendly, helpful, from several people during my stay. And the food was excellent. I was going to get onion rings, but they said on Wednesdays they don't have room in the fryer for those. I was a little disappointed because I figured they probably have great onion rings. Oh well. So I got the pretzel bites. A fairly small order for seven dollars, but the best pretzel bites I've ever had, I think because they were deep-fried. (They're smaller than onion rings.) Hot and crispy on the outside, tender inside, with a good honey mustard sauce. You can also get ranch I think. And since wings were a dollar I wanted to get a bunch but I wasn't super hungry, so I got six. Regular wings, with the Alabama white sauce. Perfectly cooked, big, meaty, juicy wings, crispy on the outside, covered with sauce but not smothered. The sauce was a little smooth and creamy with a little heat from the horseradish, call it medium. Very good. Went well with the wings. The wings even plain would've been excellent. And they have dozens of sauces, a bunch of which I would like to try. Check their Facebook to make sure they're open. The last few months they have had some issues, which seem to be sorted out mostly. Allow yourself some time. Come on Wednesday and get as many wings as you can eat. Mm-mm.

I had a coupon from a hockey game, expiring at the end of the month, and they were on top of it. I got fried fingers, because I'd never had those. 4 because I figured they were small. They were not. 4 big flat "fingers" as big as my hand. Perfectly fried, then dipped in sauce. Enough to coat, not to make them mushy. We'll see how they do reheated. Because dang, that was a lot of food. I got Korean BBQ, savory and a tiny bit spicy. I also got the onion feathers, crispy and tasty and sided with their horseradishy sauce. If I hadn't got them maybe I'd have been able to finish the "fingers." Maybe. Next time I'll get 2. Parking is tight. Big lot, but narrow aisles, made worse by people waiting on spots, driving the wrong way, parking poorly, and the construction next door. Mashed potatoes needed some salt and pepper and I never add salt to anything, but after that and pouring some gravy on them it was perfect. The heat level on my was great. I went with Medium and may try the Nashville Hot next but that medium was a just right. My partner loves fried chicken and ordered the two-piece meal with a wing and breast, no heat, and enjoyed it as well. No complaints there. Service was the best. The guy that took our order was so personable and friendly and walked us through the options. After we ordered, even brought the food to the table once it was ready. Everything was hot and fresh. Soda machines were down but sure they'll get it fixed soon, and the restrooms were worn and really cold, but none of that was a big deal really. Two bone-in chops, tender and juicy and breaded with a little seasoning. Covered with a gravy/sauce that adds more flavor. And over top of tender short grain rice. I got baked beans as one of my sides, and they were soupy, but savory, and very tasty. I also got fried okra, which was a large portion of perfectly fried chunks. Also nicely seasoned. They do give you ketchup and vinegar, and hot sauce, and I tried those on the okra. But it was plenty good on its own. I came in hungry and left stuffed. They offered dessert, but I didn't even look at the menu because I knew I had no room. Parking is absolutely awful. Not their fault, of course.
