Decided to try Culvers tonight. My first time coming inside. It's a casual place that's setup more like a fast food place but just like chic-fil-a they bring the food to you. The majority of the workers are high school age. They are helpful and pleasant. No complaints there. The place is well kept and clean floors. Plenty of seating even on a Saturday evening. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger along with the roast beef sandwich. That was good! Make sure to ask for horseradish. Then large fries. It was $16 so over all not bad compared to most other places it would cost over $20. So I was pleasantly surprised that Culver's turned out to be a nice evening out. I would absolutely recommend Culver. Don't forget your ice cream dessert. read more

This very busy location was also very clean and well staffed. While this was our first visit to this location, we have been to other Culver locations. A little surprised that my wife's entree was delivered to our table containing none of the condiments she ordered. (We ordered through the Culver website to avoid the order not being put in incorrectly!) I tried their heavily advertised New Chicken Sandwich resulting in disappointment. While there was a lot of crisp breading, there is very little chicken meat. So in the future, I will stick to my Butter Burgers! Culver also has some very good Rootbeer, including the sugar free version. Sometime, I will need to try their custard! read more

First time coming here as a Californian, and I have to say that this ended up being one of my favorite fast food places in Ohio! Really wish we had a Culvers in California! Great food (per usual with Culver's), but terrible service. Tonight I had gone through the drive through and noticed my order was taking a little while. All the cars around me had come and gone multiple times with others getting their order, but mine had not shown yet. After 20 minutes I rolled down my window and said excuse me to an older gentleman who was working. I started to explain that I had been waiting a while but he cut me off before I could say I wanted to make sure they did not misplace my order. He responded by snapping at me and telling me I need to have some patience and that they are running behind. I did not say anything else and sat waiting for another 5 minutes before someone who was with me went inside to check on the order. Turns out they had lost my order and had to start over on it. If we never spoke up it was never going to come. I understand running behind or even misplacing an order, but when someone kindly asks about it please respond with kindness. read more

Been here a few times before. Impressions from those visits: typical Culver's, good burgers, good frozen treats. Long lines at drive-through. Today, stopped in with friends. Not super hungry but wanting a snack and custard. Moderately busy at 2pm on a Saturday. Good service; someone walking around checking on everybody, a couple people delivering food to tables, two registers open. Friends got the burgers and really liked them. I got the chili, and it was good, nothing special. K got cheese curds and liked them; I of course ended up eating her leftovers. I had a root beer there- not a fan of theirs, but it'll do, and makes a good float with frozen custard. We got custard on the way out. Creamier than ice cream. Tasty. Wow, this place has great service and was PACKED on a Sunday for lunch. We ordered kids meals and you can (for a charge) add bacon + cheese to a kids butter burger. Crinkle fries were hot and fresh with just the right crunch.kids meals come with a scoop of custard. I bought a mini sundae with vanilla custard, hot fudge, and pecans. HUGE whole pecans and hot fudge. It was the best dessert I've had in a while...and at a quick service restaurant? We stopped at the drive thru for ice cream. Our order took a very long time, and they tried to give us the wrong order once. By the time we got our order, the ice cream cone was melted over on itself and about to fall over, dripping down the sides. And the sundae that I requested have a lid, was melted and leaking out the sides of the collar they put on it. That said, their ice cream is delicious. read more

Been here several times yet today I'd like to leave a review. For that classic smash burger taste without necessarily having to sit down and having an option of a drive thru then this is a solid place to go. What drove me here was their limited time CURDERBURGER. Wowzers! It's DAMN GOOD and you better get you one before they're gone. All their burgers are made FRESH TO ORDER so you'll either have a slightly long wait in the drive thru or they'll ask you to pull up to one of their numbered spots and they'll bring the food out to you. Their preprocessed chicken tenders are fried to order as well and although they were made in a factory somewhere they taste fine. If you want in house hand breaded tenders then I suggest the new Bojangles or Raising Canes. Also get their SIGNATURE SAUCE dip as it is REALLY GOOD to dip their food items in as well. I don't come here often, but I think I will be coming here more often when I want a burger. They're tasty little burgers, and I appreciate that they have onion rings. They don't have a ton of burgers to choose from, but that's fine. The few we and my girlfriend have tried have been really good. The fries are just ok, but i get the onion rings so no worries. The staff must be picked out of a magical kingdom, because they're pretty special and make you feel great for being there. The inconsistency here with the burgers is somewhat baffling. They don't follow toppings instructions you get wrong burger completely... happened few times. How hard is it to add Ketchup when you add that as a topping ? Wow... can't wait for the robots. Often the burgers are cooked too long to burned crisp. The chicken tenders are just horrible. We love Culver, in general. This one was just okay - almost ruined by the girl at the window of the drive thru. Because she just handed me a drink and told me thanks. I felt stupid waiting for her to come back only to tell j my r to pull forward. Thanks for assuming we know your drill. That said, chicken cashew salad was okay but call it a cashew salad with some green added. The chicken was cut into 4 giant chunks and I actually saved half the cashews for snack later ( there was half a cup remaining). I am kind of sick of them now. Ordered two ice creams for my wife and I. Waited in the area they told us to wait and after twenty minutes of waiting I flagged down one of the employees who worked there and she went looking for our order. She then came back with our ice creams ten minutes later that had clearly been sitting there for the full half hour. I then complained on their site and never heard back. The nicest people seem to work at Culver's. Always so polite, even in the drive-through. I'm a fan of the crinkle fries and the buttered buns for the burgers. This was one of our favorite places to eat and still is one of mine. So happy to have one this close. Wonderful burgers and it will depend on the flavor of the day if I make it a cheeseburger. EBS said out loud last summer why would they be pushing the chicken with burgers this good when the TVs in the corners had that on a maddening loop. He always got the double but could never talk me into that. ONLY complaint on burgers is the amount of mustard and ketchup put on. Asking for extra of both does help, but they will overdue that so best if eating in to do that yourself. The Pepsi products is the reason for only 4 stars. Tip:. After seeing the flavor of the day for the Ann Arbor location from the app on his phone, the one here in Columbus was different. They must either be by restraunt or maybe state. Or maybe it could be that Columbus Ohio stores can't have the same as " that state up north" as they call Michigan here. First time visit for me. Staff seem very nice upon entering store and looks really clean and bright. I ordered the Double Mushroom Swiss with side of fries and drink. Stated they would bring food to our table. We get our own drinks and anticipate our food. It was very hot and fresh and really good. I personally would have liked the mushrooms in a sauce on the burger or offered A1. The burgers were greasy but really good. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. Boyfriend ordered a burger with onion rings. They were batter dipped and really tasty, also. We will visit they place again but when I am in the mood for a mushroom burger, I will bring my own A1 sauce. read more

Everyone wants that great tasting burger. That go to when you don't wanna cook our just want some greasy goodness. Well Culver has burgers... butter burgers. They are tasty. I think the single are better then the double. Usually my family would go to Culver's by the zoo. We would always stop in to eat and warmup after the winter zoo lights. It was kind of like a tradition. However I never went there any other time untill the other day. Good burger I just got a double and it sat in my stomach like a brick. Pretzel bread was ok but didn't taste like a pretzel at all.. Fry's were not crispy but it could have been the weather outside. I say try the single. a very nice lady next to me ordered a fish sandwich and she said she loves it. I might have to try it next. I usually don't do fish in a burger spot but you only live once. Would I take a friend from out of town if they want a burger. Yes if I'm close to a Culver's.. I wouldn't make the long drive and pass many other good burger spots to get there. read more

I liked the food a lot. It reminds me of a In n Out kind of back home. The fries personally to me are not that great but the burgers make up for hit. I love the milkshakes and I wish they had bigger straws.....they do give you a spoon so I appreciate the alternative option. The service is great and I strongly recommend a shake or an ice cream. Its a good fast food place and definitely better then MASS chain ones we see everywhere........not naming names but when it gets WINDY..you get CHILI outside which should ring a BELL that a SUBWAY is good place to be unless there is a clown in there singing "I'm lovin it" then SONIC out until you hear a HARD Dees..... egh you get the point. Very dissatisfied with this Culver's lately. I don't know if it's mere coincidence, people simply forgetting, or intentional, but it seems like they're severely cutting back on toppings and mix-ins for their custard treats. I ordered a concrete mixer with banana, caramel, and cheesecake pieces at the drive thru. I got home to find there were no banana or cheesecake pieces at all! Okay...once isn't so bad, sometimes people forget. Next visit I get a pint to take home, of the crazy for cookie dough daily flavor. Eating it over the next couple of days, there were a total of 4 bits of cookie dough in the entire pint. Four! And NO CARAMEL at all. There was a tiny pocket of fudge on one of the sides of the pint, about a teaspoon total of fudge. If someone had handed me this pint without telling me the flavor, I would have sworn up and down that it was a pint of plain chocolate vanilla swirl, that someone accidentally dropped some cookie dough pieces into while portioning the pints. And it wasn't just one pint...the person I was with that day got the same flavor, and hers was the same way. Okay, three bad custard treats over 2 visits. Perhaps still within the realm of coincidence, or someone just forgetting. Go there to eat in the diner with my family. All the food is fine. Culver's chicken tenders with honey mustard never disappoint. Though, they did forget the mayo and extra onion on one of the burgers. Anyway, after the dinner, we get our custard treats... One person ordered a strawberry sundae, but received a cup of plain vanilla custard. No strawberry topping, no whipped cream at all. Just plain vanilla. The two concrete mixers, caramel cashew and another caramel, banana, cheesecake...both had the tiniest little drizzle of caramel on the inside of the cup. Not enough to even taste. We had to go to the counter to ask for them to fix these three custard treats. I will give them points for being very understanding and adding the elements that were missing. Still, this seems to be a trend lately. Each of our recent trips, the toppings/mix-ins for the custard have been severely lacking. I understand that places are cutting back, but this is simply ridiculous (if intentional). When you ask for something to be added, and at an additional cost at that, you expect to get what you ordered, and for it to be an adequate amount for the additional cost. I can't imagine it's not intentional, considering it has been the case for each of our recent visits. I haven't returned since. Which is a real shame. I remember loving the place, and getting plenty of toppings in our sundaes and mixers. And my family has always enjoyed Culver's food. However, if this is how severely they are cutting back with their custard toppings, then it's simply not worth the price anymore. I really do hope management is able to turn it around, as I would look forward to becoming a regular customer again, if they're able to bring back the high quality. (Just a separate thought, on that cutting back matter...every time I would go in there, it seems like they have way more staff than they actually need. I believe there were about 6-8 people standing behind the counter looking like they had nothing to do. That wasn't including the people in the back kitchen preparing the food. I'm really not sure why they are paying so many employees to do work that can be handled by half as many. Perhaps they could put more of the budget toward quality of product for the customer, and less toward excess staffing. Oh, but one thing to add: The staff has always been friendly with us. Especially the lady that walks around the dining room to check on customers. I believe she has wavy, black hair and glasses, if I remember correctly. She always has a wonderful energy and attitude, and is so helpful and attentive. She seems like a fantastic employee, so please keep her!) read more
