I love crepes however the places I've been in the metroplex seem to not hit the spot when it comes to my expectations. Today, I was pleasantly surprised and felt like, they got this one right (to the point that I forgot to get a picture because we dug right in and didn't stop!) So they have options of sweet or savory and you have the option to build your own. They also make your crepe in front of you so you get to see what is happening. I decided to get the cookie butter crepe with a scoop of ice cream and I have NO REGRETS!!! The person making my crepe had me a little nervous as I felt that as they were pouting the crepe it was looking thin in spots where when the cookie butter was added it was going to rip. However finished product, it didn't take away from the taste. It was delicious, not to sweet, warm, yummy and delicious. My draw back, they don't have designated seating, so I was walking with a platter looking for a spot and at one point trying to balance my tray, praying that I didn't drop it. The staff were nice, informative when questions were asked (and I had a few) and overall provided great customer service. I'm ready to try my next crepe! read more

This is a great place for Crepes. It is located at the Legacy Food Hall. We wanted a dessert and wanted to try this spot. Service was great! The employees were friendly and one also suggested her favorite when I asked for recommendations. She recommended the Nutella with strawberries so being that it was my first time there, I went with her suggestion. The Nutella with strawberries was yum. The crepe was good and not too soft. The Nutella with strawberries and powdered sugar mixed well together. It was a bit thin but was good! I would definitely return to try a different crepe as they have many different ones that they make not just sweet ones. read more

Terrible service is the reason for this negative review. We really love crepes and were so excited to try out Whisk & Eggs. We ordered ahead so that we wouldn't have to wait. We went to their stand when the time said it would be ready and someone didn't come and help us for over 5 minutes, although I was standing by the register. When they finally did, they said the food wasn't ready yet. It took them another 5-10 minutes for the food to be ready, even though they didn't seem that busy. The workers really seemed like they didn't want to be there at all and it was all just very frustrating. When we ended up getting our food we weren't impressed. It wasn't worth the wait or the money. I recommend going to Press Waffle instead, it was much better and the service was great. read more

Really great place to grab a sweet, French style crêpe! Both employees present wore a mask and gloves, and WOW did they make those crêpes fast! The owner is also very sweet. I ordered the Cookies and Cream crêpe, which came with cookie butter, strawberries, chocolate drizzle, cookie crumbles, and a scoop if vanilla ice cream to top it all off! It was so sweet, but I've got quite the sweet tooth. I feel like the tartness of the strawberries balanced out the sweetness of, well, everything else. It was great! Four of us enjoyed the Belgium Emporium Crepe with cookie spread, bananas, whipped creme and pecans as our first introduction to Whisk & Egg and agreed that we would happily try more combinations on future returns! I asked the cashier if the Fair Day or Belgium Emporium was more popular, she said the belgium emporium was so I took her advice and ordered that, along with a cortado as well. I must have had just an overwhelmed couple of kids trying to do their best with a hungry crowd in front of them. That's why I'm giving it three stars. I'm new in town and craved a crêpe; the closest spot to me within an 8min drive still opened was Whisk & Egg, so I headed there. I ordered the midnight in Paris to go and was anticipating it. When it was time to pick it up, I see the girl at the register with a cup and the young man with a scoop of ice cream that comes with the order "struggling" to put it inside the cup since it was to go. So what the young man does to solve the problem, He grabs the scoop of ice cream with the same dirty hand he has been using at the register and pushes it into the cup. Now to be fair I guess, he was wearing gloves, the same dirty gloves that have been touching everything else. I think I wasn't good enough as a customer who just tipped them too, to rate a spoon or something else to transfer the ice cream cone into a cup. That was strike 1. I threw that ice cream away, by the way. I don't grab ice creams with my clean hand at home; why should I eat one outside that's been- grabbed with a hand full of bacteria?? Strike 2, I get home to eat my crepe finally, and when I opened the box, the crêpe was put straight on the cardboard box, NO sheet of paper in between; at that point, I lost my craving and appetite and started to wonder about the type of customers that go to legacy hall. I guess this might be an acceptable way of handling customer's food, no for me, though, it's unacceptable!! If I had opened the box before I left, I would have asked them re-make it. When I asked why these strawberries are not fresh I got attitude since they had to remake it. I will not be back. Happened to be in Plano for a company conference and had an after hours event at the Box garden in the Lagacy hall. Later than night I and a couple of my colleagues walked around the hall and I ran into a couple of my favorite kinda deserts Crepes and Liege waffles with stalls right next to each other. This was probably around 9.30pm on a Wednesday night after a few drinks I could not resist my sweet tooth cravings and decided to try out the crepes at whisk and eggs and also a Liege waffle at Press Waffle Co next door. They had a nice variety of sweet and savory crepes combinations or you can create your own from their list of toppings. Since I was sharing my colleague i decided to order a swest crepe with banana and nutella which was around $6. There were 2 really friendly young ladies working that night and by watching one of them prepare the crepes you could tell she enjoyed working there making crepes and was quite good at it as well. My crepe made to perfection and it was suprisingly really really good. Growing up in Europe ....I have had plenty of crepes In my time and know a good French Crepe. This was hands down one of the better tasting crepes I have had in the united states. The flavor and texture of the crepe was on point and I really enjoyed it... too bad I had to split it with my colleague because we also got a liege waffle to from press waffle next door to share as well. I happened to be at Legacy Hall during the Super Bowl, and I decided to try Whisk and Eggs before I left. There were two really sweet young ladies working. I can't remember the name of the crepe I ordered. It had butter and sugar, and I added strawberries and whipped cream. I walked over to Knife Burger, and while I waited for my food I nibbles on my crepe... Well, that nibble turned into me eating more than half! . It was DELICIOUS!!! In fact, it was so good I ordered another one to go! It was soooo good I came back a couple days later to get one for my friend and I! I've been back twice since my initial visit, and my only qualm is that I wanted it to go, and a guy told me they couldn't be packaged to go. Now, I did forget to mention this immediately after placing my order. I politely explained to him that I had been there twice a few days before and they were able to package it for me, they just told me to be careful because of the butter. They wrapped it up in an extra layer of foil and sent me on my way in previous times. He still insisted that it couldn't be packaged to go. The first time we went here it was great. I believe (by the confidence and great recommendations) that the person working the register that day was the owner. Food was great, experience was great. So we decided to bring our visiting family here on Saturday (7/21) and the customer service was awkward and just plain bad. We had modified our order the first time we went so we couldn't remember if it was between 2 different ones on the menu... so I asked the girl at the register which one had the filling that was sweet and creamy like it had cream cheese in it. She looked at me with a blank stare and then looked around to her coworkers... but rather than asking those coworkers, she simply said she didn't know since she hadn't tried them. But she said they were sold out of one so we should just get the other one. As the guy was making the crepe, I knew for sure that wasn't the filling we had before. So I asked the girl that handed me the crepe if there was any sort of policy for if I didn't like it since that wasn't what I wanted... she did the same blank stare and then yells towards the guy making the crepes the situation... so now everyone around is hearing us speak loudly about it versus her just walking over to him to ask... it was embarassing to say the least. I was willing to give it a try but was just asking in the case that I didn't like it if they could make me something else. Tired of them yelling (because it is so loud in there... not like yelling in a mean way) stuff at me I walked away. It was so awkward that no one there seemed to know what was going on and how the business worked and what things tasted like. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, my sister-in-law goes down to get her dessert once I return to the table and comes back with the crepe that the girl at the register said was sold out! I'm really disappointed in the whole experience and hope that management trains their employees on how to handle situations better AND to ask each other questions if they don't know the answer. read more

The sandwich was really great, which is what saved me from putting a one star review. We ordered coffees, mine was a Nutella latte and hers was the cafe ai lait. She ordered hers with soy milk. It took about ten minutes for them to figure how to use their machine, after they finally got it to spit out espresso they used normal milk on hers and mine came completely unflavored. They remade hers and it straight tasted like espresso, soy milk, and water. Didn't even want to bother getting mine remade because of how long it takes them. After all our waiting didn't even consider asking us for a refund or something of equivalent value. Needless to say this place has no business dealing coffee. UPDATE: this update is actually a year old so whoops on my part. They refunded the whole order (even though I didn't enjoy the coffee but did enjoy the sandwich). So happy to see a crêpe place at the new Legacy West Food court. While in Dallas for the holidays, we decided we wanted to check it out. Crepes are made fresh, as soon as you order them. You can watch the crepes being made on one of three griddles behind plate glass while you wait in line. Selections range from breakfast type to traditional lunch/dinner and dessert. We chose the complete crepe, a delicious assemblage of ham, cheese & egg with a dollop of sour cream. After standing in line and watching all of the crapes being made, we decided to add a dessert crêpe to our order. We chose a crêpe with caramel apples and a chopped nuts. Warm and delicious. Vendors only except credit cards. If you have cash be prepared to purchase a special dining pass that you will load your cash on to. This makes payment at each of the food stalls so much quicker. Drinks are sold at each food store but you will need to go to one of the many drink stations to select & fill it yourself. We enjoyed the Legacy West food hall. Be prepared to wait in line to order your food and to find seating once you've received your food. It can be challenging to find a seat but the wide variety of food choices makes it easy to see why the place is so popular. Best hint...get there for an early lunch & have someone park at a dining spot while others go get food. read more

I used to frequent the Oak Cliff location but was absolutely thrilled to see they had opened up a similar concept at Legacy Hall! I went in fully expecting to have a high quality, well-made, authentic crepe and still they exceeded my expectations. It was perfect and just what I was hoping for! Julien is a master when it comes to flavorfully harmonizing simple ingredients into a tasty crepe. The combination of textures is on point as well! I ordered the G.O.A.T. Crepe and although they were out of fresh spinach for the day, they were very accommodating and offered to add diced tomatoes instead. Simply delicious! First off, Legacy Hall is amazing. The vibe. The atmosphere. It's awesome. I haven't had a bad thing yet. But I had been craving crepes like the ones I had in Paris a couple years back, and came across this place. Talked my buddies into going in for it. I ordered the Parisian. It was perfect. Subtle, yet satisfying. Just like the ones I had in France. Just ham, mozzarella, and Dijon. Soooo good. My bro got the Paris Texas, which had brisket and other amazing things on it.
