I recently visited Wave808 with two friends, would I come back? I WISH! Why do I wish? In short, the rooms and cost are definitely on the luxury side of karaoke in Hawaii. First off, the staff was incredibly friendly and explained the system from drink ordering and all the buttons in the room really well. Their service and timing is pretty great when we were the only room booked. As the night progressed and more rooms filled up, they did forget our order of water...shoot I hope we weren't charged for it since it looked like he added it on the iPad. The smallest room you can get is for six people and there were three of us. Just like other karaoke bars, if you hit the max amount of people in the room, it can feel a bit squished. Three was a great and comfortable amount for us. Disclaimer: The room was a gift for us to use so we didn't have to worry about cost. If I ever want to replicate the night it would cost us a couple hundred per person. Remember, the less people the more you pay if you split it. Also, the later you stay, the more you pay. We did four hours and two of those hours were in the late night time bracket, so that was already a base of $100 for two hours. Again, this is a bit on the luxury side, but it's worth it because of how great the system is and the drink options! One of the best features was the ability to pull up videos from YouTube, which meant we could sing virtually any song we wanted. Or when were taking a break and eating we just pulled up a video our friend has been wanting to show us. Also, it is BYO-Food so don't forget to grab your favorite take-out or snacks before checking in. While I didn't know they support local talent with live performances, I hope to visit them again to catch one of those events. It's definitely a must-visit for anyone in Honolulu looking for a memorable karaoke night. Hope to return soon! read more

This is the cleanest karaoke place I've been to on Oahu! Loved the vibe of the rooms. The staff were friendly. The song selection is great. I enjoyed how you can select songs with an iPad. Parking - street or valet. I used street parking There is food and drinks. I only ordered drinks. You order with your phone and they deliver your order. They automatically charge you tip, which is fine. The drinks weren't that great which is why I gave 4 stars. They were weak IMO. read more

This is my favorite karaoke place ever! I love that all of the rooms are so spacious and well decorated and equipped with everything you need. This staff is attentive and I never have any issues if I need to leave early or stay longer than planned. Clean and great ambiance. Each room has a theme and the decor is modern and cosy. I love that they have an expansive library of songs in various languages for all. And if you can't find what you want you can connect to YouTube and your options are endless. You download an app to your phone and can make your selections through your phone app. Full bar menu. Outside drinks are not allowed but you can bring food as they don't serve food there. Water: only bottled water for purchase. You can make your reservations in advance on their website www.wave808.com. There are Happy Hour prices 12p-6p M-F. Prices vary based on size of room. Recently hosted a karaoke night for some friends here a few weeks ago. Overall, I really liked our room and service. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. We had less than 10 people in a medium sized room so we could spread out a little. It was spacious, clean, and air conditioned. We were able to bring our own food, but you must pay for drinks at the bar. It's nice being able to book online ahead of time, and I called a few days prior to make adjustments. I also like using iPads to look up songs, you can also play music videos. Gone are the days of sticky song books LOL. Would definitely book here again! read more

Being that this was me & my friends first time here, our experience was amazing! The food & drink service was really quick & everything was so ʻono! I also appreciated the fact that you were able to bring your own food into the room, however, you are not allowed to bring in a hydro flask with water. I don't sing, but I can rap lol. In other words, I'm not much of a karaoke person, but I actually had a good time. I came here for a company retreat and we catered and some of the team brought the food in. You can bring your own food, but not drinks. They now have a selection of soft drinks and alcohol drinks. The Shirley temple mocktail is the best I've ever had! I don't think I've had it before but it was really good. Service was great. They brought the drinks to our room right away. If you order a large water, a large water bottle comes. I don't think you're aloud to bring your own water bottle in. There are QR codes you can scan to order and close out your own bill towards the end, and an app to download and select songs. Or there is an iPad. The lights can change colors and you can control it from the box near the door. We had rented a rather large room and there were extra stool seats. Parking is valet only. read more

Fun spot! Came here for the first time for a company party and we rented one of the bigger rooms. I love that each room has a different theme with fun decor. I haven't been to a ton of karaoke spots -- I usually stick to the ones I know best -- but I think what's pretty unique about Wave808 is that there's both an iPad and an app option for people to add songs (and very easy ways to delete, move, pause, etc.), an app to order drinks that the staff delivers to your room, and a camera on their wall to take big group photos! We called on a Saturday night for a group of 10 of us and they had availability. We ubered there so I'm not sure of the parking situation, but obviously if you're having drinks you should always have a designated driver anyways! This place is super modern and very clean. The room we got fit us nicely and the karaoke system is easy to use. The service was great and the workers were super friendly. I can tell they put in a LOT of effort to make this a great experience. You can rent a small or large private room, and they charge by the hour. The rooms have AC and adjustable colorful lighting. They also have a call button for the server. Loved the ambiance. They do not sell food, but you are allowed to bring your own (which is better). Alcohol and drinks can be purchased on-site.
