I took my elderly mom to this store today and was so displeased, it will NEVER happen again! My mom is in her late 80's and near blind but refuses to depend on others and does her own shopping. I take her, help her in, then she does her best to navigate and with help, find what she needs. Today after a long time in her basket full, we go to pay and with a store FULL of people, every single register shut down and turned her away. They told her "do it yourself" How the hell do they expect a blind woman that old to (do it herself) What kind of service is this? Ridiculous if you ask me and they/you, have lost my business and my families business/respect 100% If I were the supervisor there and my employees pulled this kind of stuff, I'f fire them on the spot! Nothing special it really is just like every other walmart you have been too. The parking is pretty bad at almost any time you come and it is usually pretty crowded. The store is well staffed and while there are lines to checkout they usually move quickly, unless you get one of the slow grump old men/women who are for some reason manning the EXPRESS checkout line (which is supposed to be the fastest, but usually is not.) The advice I have is to make sure you choose the right line checking out and hope you get lucky finding a close parking space. read more

After a good 2 hours waiting I wasn't even acknowledged that they didn't have the filter for my oil change. until I actually had to check in with them when I saw my car was driven off after what was thought that they have completed the oil change. I got so even more upset and furious when I got a smartass response from an individual whom I thought to be a responsible personnel of my situation as he said to me that he is very sorry but there's nothing else that he can do for me because they did not have the oil filter unless I want to go get a filter from somewhere else and bring it back for them to do it for me. ...duh!!! read more

This store has gone to crap since they got a new manager. The place is a dump, there is never anyone to assist the customer. They are low on stock, all the time. the shelves are always empty. The employees will walk right in front of you and act as if they didn't see you . The cashiers are shit. I just got back from this Walmart. I looked for a Waterpik online, there was a model for $24.99 at Walmart.com. Free shipping. I decided to go to the local Walmart and just buy it, since the price was the same. Well, it was $33.97 at the Brea WalMart. I showed the manager the price on Walmart.com and asked them to match it. No, they couldn't do that. I looked at another fancier WaterPik model, it was $57.97 in the store. On Walmart.com it was $42.77. 30% higher in the store. Online prices are often lower, sure. But this is the same company. It's not like a company will often cut the throats of their own retail stores. This is a nice area, upscale homes and higher income. I am sure all across the country WalMart sells items for the same price on Walmart.com as at the local store. Not here. I suspect this particular WalMart has had it's prices raised because they feel the traffic will bear it, not everything but certainly in this instance that is the case. I would be careful before buying anything worth more than a few dollars at this WalMart before you check the price. I like to shop at WalMart, but I am not willing to pay more for *anything* than that same exact company sells for every day- likely at their own nearby stores. I am going to be watching them. I'm not some science-denying, mask hating MAGA Karen. I'm all about helping keep my neighbors healthy. So I appreciate Walmart is trying. My review is directed at the older white man with some sort of tablet at the front door. Probably to count people. Anyway I haven't been here in a while. I haven't seen their new setup. One entrance is blocked off, the other side has an entrance and exit. I apparently greatly offended a man this place pays by DARING to accidentally (gasp!) go in the wrong direction. I know he was offended because he barked extremely loud "OTHER DOOR!!!" at me like 4 times in quick succession like I was some kind of dog. I was kind of shocked. No attempt at guiding me in the right direction like any normal employee of any business would. I would have immediately gone in the right entrance had I known, and I still did. I don't leave my house to give money to a business to be barked at by some rude old man. He should be fired, it was offensive. I don't shop here often but I will go out of my way to never come back. The store is pretty big, so why aren't the shelves filled? If you want a half gallon of milk you usually have to buy a gallon. If you want a frozen pizza you will have like 1 to choose from. Brandon, a supervisor at Walmart is a disgrace to the company and to customer service as a whole. He should not be allowed to represent a company that pays him for his service. I walked into Walmart to purchase a pair of earphones for my daughter and picked one from a locked cupboard witha price of $3.88 displayed. I was told at the counter the price was actually 9.88 which is fine! a $6 price difference is nothing. However I did wish to point out that since the cupboard was locked it had obviously been placed there alongside others like that on the wrong rack and walked over to show Brandon. NEVER have I been so embarassed by an employee of a store. He proceeded to shout, argue and imply that I was lying! The employee who handed me the earphones walked past but was not allowed to talk to me! This is to the store manager - please note this company pays each of these individuals to represent this company. The least I would expect from a SUPERVISOR is delinquent behaviour of shouting,ranting and accusing a customer of lying. Its a simple logic. Walmart pays salaries with the money spent by consumers like us. I did not shop at Brandon's mother store to be treated as such! My review today is on the batteries that they sell here at Walmart. They sell a brand called Everstart. I don't recommend these batteries. They're about as cheap as you can get. Yes you will spend one third less if not one half but you will get the same in lifespan. If you want a really cheap battery that will only last for the summer and you know you will have to replace it every year this may be the battery for you. Keep in mind they have a 30 day return policy and absolutely no warranty. They are subject to so sulfation quickly so you have to keep a trickle charge on them when you're not using them in the vessel. read more

If I need to go to a Walmart, this is the location that I prefer. I like the layout of this store and overall I enjoy my shopping experience more here. Since I enjoy the store more I find myself sometimes shopping a lot longer than I expected. On the downside, the parking lot is usually full most of the time, but I guess this is just a popular store and this is SoCal after all. read more

This is the most outrageous, horrible service of any pharmacy anywhere I've been. The individuals they hired to work there are clearly incapable of reading, and do not understand that "4 oz" constitutes the quantity written on the prescription, so they refuse to fill it. When I ask them to have the prescription waiting for me when I return, so that I may take it to a pharmacy with literate personnel, they neglect to inform me that they are closing in an hour, which means that now my medication is not available to me until tomorrow, thanks to the employees of Walmart pharmacy. Finally found one. Waiting for it to scan when a female employee walks over and says in a snotty tone, it doesn't work. So I ask, do you know where there is another one? She says, No, there isn't another one. One price checker in the entire store???? Ever think to put a Out of Order sign on the FN machine? This location is the closest to my work. Tried to get my oil changed here. They said that they didn't have the filter for my standard Chevy cruise so they advised I go buy it myself and bring it to them and that they would deduct price from service. Returned with filter and by then there was a long line which I had to wait in bc the guy said he didn't think he could help me out first. Then after an hr the price for the oil change was $30 bc they deducted their wholesale price from my bill. And when I asked why they wouldn't deduct regular customer price for filter they said bc they couldn't find it. Most incompetent lazy oil change ever read more

This store is ridiculous. It's the farthest thing from clean and horrible customer service. Our group had 4 people and 3 different transactions: the first person bought alcohol with no problem. Second person (me) bought a few things not including alcohol. Third person goes to buy alcohol and the cashier claims she needs to see all of our IDs. We asked why she didn't ID me when the first guy bought alcohol since EVERYTHING came out of the same cart. They didn't have an answer except "he said he wasn't with you guys" which isn't true because he never said that and they never asked him. The woman ended up calling her manager over who didn't help the situation at all. She just stared at us and said it's their policy to check everyone's IDs.... but she wouldn't answer us when we asked why they didn't need to check our IDs when the first guy made his alcohol purchase. She refused to answer our questions. They were not helpful at all and everyone we dealt with was extremely rude to us. They were treating us like we were children even though we were all over 21. (One of us didn't have ID on us and that's why the situation was so difficult. But he was not the person purchasing the alcohol). The whole situation was just a complete mess. I couldn't believe we had employees yelling at us and being so rude based on a "store policy" that they didn't even honor with the first purchase of alcohol. On 04172017 I came into Walmart to get two tires put on my vehicle, I called 540pm they said to come in and the tires are in stock, I arrived at 548pm, I technician approached me and said we are no longer taking vehicles I explained to him I just called and the individual told me to come in he said no more cars I asked to speak with a manager he said OK and walked off, I asked where can I find the manager I was ignored....so I went into the auto center spoke with the manager at the front desk assistant manager Mike, I explained the situation to him and he asked my tire size and said go out side and I will have them write you up, when I went back out side to wait the technicians were complaining about helping me....seriously, so after I was written up I went to do some shopping, I asked for assistance on an item, the individual who helped me was Andrew very cool guy, he had an injury and he was still working and running two different departments poor guy had a limp, this place does not care about there employees, he asked what I needed help with I asked to see an item that was locked up, he found in under a tag behind the counter for $9.98 it was $72.00 just put in the wrong place by another employee, I didn't do it also there is a camera that faces these items in the hunting department, he then requested a manager to call him her name was Heather, he explained how he found it on the shelve and the price, this item was under lock, she quickly told him no and hung up, I thought you were suppose to honor your prices, now remember the employee found the price mistake I did not . The customer service here is horrible no smiles no greeting nothing I don't now how Walmart is number 1 in customer service everyone looks like they are miserable here, management here is no better they suck just as much, I don't think I will ever shop here again read more

Cant park in parking lott without being acousted by gaurd. They only allow one hour parking if you own a truck and shell camper or rv. Over zealous security gaurd comes after you threatening to tow if you dont shop really fast. If you need supplies I'd shop elsewhere. read more

I've been to other Walmarts' before and this was the smallest one I've seen yet. And I wouldn't mind not going back again. The first thing I notice when walking in was that it was kind of dim inside, not as bright as the other big stores next to it. The second thing I noticed was that they had a small corner for a small nail salon, that's cool, get nails on the cheap. But then I looked beyond and right next to the nail place was McDonalds and felt immediately repulsed about the idea of eating anything in there. All I could picture was tiny pieces of nail dust floating about. The manicurists were wearing masks but what's stopping the customers from breathing that in? Who knows where it settles. Continuing on, the store is too small to try to fit everything it tries to sell. The aisles are small and it was hard to maneuver around with everyone else's carts in the way. read more

I love this Wal-Mart auto center! The technician Jeremy is the most helpful person I've met! I pulled in to the auto center to get an oil change, I was having a bad day already. I was greeted by the nicest tech Jeremy, he explained the options and even asked me questions to see what my car needed. He told me it'll be ready In less than 30 mins and it was! To top things off he even taught me a few things about my car on how to reset my oil maintenance light. God bless his heart! I'll definitely be back because of him! read more
