ALL TRADER JOES LOCATIONS ARE CONSISTENT. I feel like each location I can find the same selection for groceries and flowers, so I appreciate the consistency; it gives me flexibility to go to whichever Trader Joe's is closest. I would still say that Trader Joe's is my TOP CHOICE when it comes to buying FLOWERS - they always have a great selection and variety of flowers at a good price! It allows me to build my own bouquet which is something I enjoy. Most groceries here are on the pricey side and more unique grocery items . Only downside to Trader Joe's is that it's more catered towards prepping meals for small families or just a single person otherwise, everything adds up quickly and a small grocery run comes out to $70. So I usually just come here for snacks, desserts, small treats, and flowers. I appreciate that they usually offer STICKERS & LOLLIPOPS for free for the kids at checkout! read more

If you love a Trader Joe's that doesn't feel like a packed sardine can, this one's a gem! It's super easy to get to, just a 2-minute drive off the freeway, and, oh boy, plenty of parking. Unlike some Trader Joe's where you feel like you're playing musical chairs with your car, this one is a breeze. I went on a weekday morning, and maybe that's why it wasn't a total zoo! fewer crowds, more space. The vibe when you walk in is just calm, unlike those other locations where you feel like you're dodging traffic inside. And let me tell you, the flowers! oh, the flowers! They have this amazing selection, always from women-owned sources, and they're just so fresh. I can't resist them. they're worth every penny. Of course, I stocked up on fresh produce too. A classic Trader Joe's goodness. Apples, berries, all top-notch. Now, a little comedy for you; when I got to the cashier, it was like a live rehearsal for a Trader Joe's sitcom. The cashier was brand new under training and bless their heart, they went step-by-step, checking off each little friendly prompt. " how's my day, am I finding everything okay" and I almost burst out laughing because it was so scripted, but also kind of sweet. The staff here are just lovely, friendly, ready to answer your random grocery questions like, "Do you have any ice cream that's also a magical unicorn in disguise?" (Okay, maybe not, but they'd try!) The only tiny suggestion I have for improvement is a shade for the outdoor flowers. On hot days, they get sunburnt and sad. But hey, it's a classic Trader Joe's, clean, fresh, and just a joy to shop at. I'm a happy customer for sure! read more

A typical, but smaller than usual TDs. I always praise their wonderful products, and decent pricing. Every time you visit, you can find something new. The chocolates and candy treats are particularly the best things you can leave the store without. Gotta say that they are notorious for bad parking lots. This location is not great. Parking is absolutely insane and the store feels really dated. I honestly will only come here if I don't have time to hit the La Habra location. The staff is nice but I'm always so full of anxiety after trying to park that I just try to get in and out as quick as possible. The overall layout of the store feels strange. Trader Joe's is the best store that everyone loves, I usually come to this location. They recently changed the store around haha so I got a little lost, but I liked the way they changed it up. Kind of easier to find things and spread out more which I liked. Love the variety of foods they carry here. International and all types of different snacks and healthy things to get. It's such a fun Aloha vibe too and I love all the Hawaii decorations here and how they decorate for the Holiday's. All the employee's are really friendly too always have smiles. Baby girl misses the small shopping carts they used to have for the kids though sad people stole them. We still love shopping here though and she is tall enough to push the regular carts now :( lol bittersweet. Thank you for always giving her stickers when she asks too thats so nice of you guys to make the kids feel special. Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store. This is not my regular location but I needed items for work and it's directly between my girlfriend's place and mine so it was very convenient. As usual a great selection of offerings, fresh produce, meats, dairy, and breads, along with canned and frozen goods. All at reasonable prices. Grabbed what I needed and hit the checkout line. I stopped at this Trader Joes yesterday. Unfortunately, within the first 10 minutes that I was there, someone stole my phone right out of the outside pocket of my purse which was in the front of the cart. I went to the customer service desk to see if someone had turned it in but it soon became apparent that it had been stolen. There was another woman in the store that it happened to also. While this was very upsetting and disappointing, Kiley, one of the managers on site was so incredibly helpful and seemed genuinely concerned. She let me use her phone to call my husband so he could use the 'find my' feature. She also let me use it to call the police. She kept saying how sorry she was that this happened. She spoke to the police as well. When I discovered that my phone was missing I had about 5 items in my cart. I needed to go out to meet the police and was going to put the items back and Kiley said not to worry about it and that she would take care of it. She met me outside with my bag of groceries that were comped by Trader Joes. That was not necessary and this incident was certainly not Traders fault. I just really appreciated how Kiley went above and beyond to try to help a very bad situation. I love Trader Joe's in general, but this type of service needs to be recognized. I've been going to my local Trader Joe's every week for years now. I don't exactly know what is happening with their customer service but it has been terrible for a while now. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. I've had it today! Today I went in buying my cases of wine and they usually assist me with checking the availability and ask if I need help loading 4 cases. I always decline the load assistance since they're so busy. They haven't had stock like they used to. The prices have gone up but I've been buying there for years. I went to the counter like I usually do expecting to get 4 cases or whatever they had in stock and the lazy gentleman cashier said- Look over there and put it in your cart and I'll ring you up. He can't ring the bell for assistance? He's telling a paying customer to look over and get their own cases. Ok, lazy much?! What are all these 8 people employed in the front check register doing? You can ask one of them to help me? Two girls talking about something that doesn't look like work to me. The other gentleman is talking to another co-worker that looks personal to me and doesn't look like work related. You can't call anyone else to help me OR Mr.Lazy can't help me? No one else is as the cash register except me. It's a slow day. Did you even try ringing the bell first? Nope. But Lazy had the audacity to tell me to go it over there. It's usually against the wall by the cashier checkout and when I went to look- EMPTY boxes. Lazy told me to look the other side. Sure, no problem. I'll go get my own 4 cases and load it myself. Perhaps, he wants me to ring myself too. I mind as well do that too. That would only mean that there is no need for him to be employed with Trader Joe's since I'm doing all the work. I don't mind doing my own grocery but can I get some assistance on some heavy items, please? Is it too much to ask for help with heavy items? Especially with 4 cases of wine and my cart is loaded with groceries? Why does Trader Joe's have so many people at the register when clearly customers aren't getting the assistance they need and it's a slow day? I've come to realize that the cost is the same as anywhere else- I don't think that I'll be buying anymore cases of wine from Trader Joe's. After I got all my 4 cases of wine, Lazy wasn't even at the cash register. So, I had to stand in line again. Thank goodness that there was only 1 person at the checkout counter and the cash register people were talking. I saw Mr . Lazy talking to a co-worker - counter by the wine section. Clearly, he doesn't value paying customers or care about me having issues with trying to load a heavy box. There are items that are cheaper at Trader Joe's but they aren't worth my time and aggravation after today's experience. I'll just go shopping somewhere else- Sprouts - that can appreciate my business. They have great prices, plenty of parking and selections too. I'll just have to drive further instead of going to Trader Joe's. read more

Long story short, we have a date night goes our thanks to the movie theater. We decided that we save ourselves some errands and ran in not too long before closing. The staff was super helpful cleaning and getting everything ready for the next day. However, the whole purpose of this review is to thank Mia, who is a cashier. She was super pleasant and asked how our day was going. Maybe we overshare, but let her know that this was a date night with twins that really didn't work out. My wife was super bumming about it. Without more than that, Mia asked us to hang on for a quick second. And went and got my wife flowers and it was just a little something, but totally turned her evening around and made her day. I bought 20 boxes of tapered candles over a few weeks time. They are self extinguishing meaning the flame stops an inch before the bottom of candle. I found out the wicks have a flame retardant which is highly toxic for this to take place. We used 1 box in 1 weeks time. We love lit candles in the cold months. Once I found out these candles are toxic I called Trader Joes to make certain they're okay to return them. I said I was embarrassed to return them because there are so many. I spoke to Ted on the phone who said I shouldn't be embarrassed. Once returning them at the store I was not comfortable at all. I was told by Ted that Trader Joes is not a bulk store. "I'm 62 years old." I don't need to be told this information. It serves absolutely no purpose. So please all you Yelpers reading this, make sure you don't buy too much of something you use plenty of from Trader Joes because they aren't a bulk store. I'll probably rewrite my review but for now I'm awfully mad at the way I was treated. We all know Trader Joes will have no problem selling these candles I returned. So why put up this fuss? Terrible way to treat a costumer. Although, I've shopped at this Trader Joes and find that for whatever reason the crew isn't as friendly as the one in Yorba Linda. Especially during Covid. I hate to do this, but this location has a serious food safety problem. I've reported it to staff multiple times and nothing has been done even after I've been assured multiple times it would be taken care of. The freezer area where the frozen berries are is constantly leaking which they just mop up, but more importantly the frozen berries have been mushy and not frozen at all for several weeks now. Someone is going to get a serious food-borne illness, and my friend's toddler died from that even being in the best hospital. Some people have weakened immune systems, too (she didn't), and this can kill them. I've reported it to the Orange County health department and will be reporting it to corporate Monday. read more
