It's one of the only stores that carry chips with NO SALT. They also have low sodium popcorn. Fantastic!

Has lots of selection and lots of items on sale. Bought batteries 2 dollars off, and sunblock 2 dollars off. The Starbucks is not open yet.

Genuinely some of the worst produce selection I've seen. Every time I go the produce I'm looking for isn't fresh, or just not even there.

Review 34/365 Day Challenge…read more How have i not reviewed one of my local fav grocery store. I love coming to Alberstons for their sales including the digital coupons you just clip on their ap or the $ 5 dollar Friday deals that's only valid on Friday. The store is usually fully stocked on all items unless it's a really good deal/score then they might be out but usually always restocking. The aisle and store is well kept and clean, easy to find stuff. Associates are really nice. I knew i loved this bakery department especially when I've seen their cakes on display I've admire for years with the cake decorating skills. I finally met one of the awesome cake decorator, Nicole Marquez. Really sweet mama indeed and she's very accommodating. I've referred a handful of customers to her that needed last minute cakes. And from all the customers feedbacks, she was able to accomplish all requests. I ordered a bday cake from Albertsons and showed Nicole the style of cake i wanted and she definitely delivered it. Tysm Nicole for making my bday a memorable one. You're the best! TIP~ download the Albertsons app to get great deals and offers.

Albertsons in Placentia is basically the "I got you" grocery store of the neighborhood. Clean? Yep…read more Bright? Yep. Shelves stocked like they're prepping for the apocalypse? Absolutely. And the best part--plenty of self-checkout machines, so you can skip the small talk and scan your lettuce in peace. Now, the produce section... look, it's fine, but let's just say I've had longer emotional connections with spinach that didn't wilt overnight. BUT their bakery totally redeems them. The fresh French bread--especially right before dinner--comes out so warm and steamy it practically whispers, "Take me home." And I do. Every time. The staff is generally super nice and polite, though occasionally you'll meet someone who clearly fought an epic battle with their alarm clock that morning. No shade--I usually hit the self-checkout anyway, so we all win. Overall, it's a solid, reliable grocery store with everything I need for my everyday chaos--I mean, household needs. Would I come back? Already did. Probably twice this week.

I would still say that Trader Joe's is my TOP CHOICE when it comes to buying FLOWERS - they always have a great selection and variety of flowers at a good price! It allows me to build my own bouquet which is something I enjoy. Most groceries here are on the pricey side and more unique grocery items . Only downside to Trader Joe's is that it's more catered towards prepping meals for small families or just a single person otherwise, everything adds up quickly and a small grocery run comes out to $70. So I usually just come here for snacks, desserts, small treats, and flowers. I appreciate that they usually offer STICKERS & LOLLIPOPS for free for the kids at checkout!

Unlike some Trader Joe's where you feel like you're playing musical chairs with your car, this one is a breeze. I went on a weekday morning, and maybe that's why it wasn't a total zoo! fewer crowds, more space. The vibe when you walk in is just calm, unlike those other locations where you feel like you're dodging traffic inside. And let me tell you, the flowers! oh, the flowers! They have this amazing selection, always from women-owned sources, and they're just so fresh. I can't resist them. they're worth every penny. Of course, I stocked up on fresh produce too. A classic Trader Joe's goodness. Apples, berries, all top-notch. Now, a little comedy for you; when I got to the cashier, it was like a live rehearsal for a Trader Joe's sitcom. The cashier was brand new under training and bless their heart, they went step-by-step, checking off each little friendly prompt. " how's my day, am I finding everything okay" and I almost burst out laughing because it was so scripted, but also kind of sweet. The staff here are just lovely, friendly, ready to answer your random grocery questions like, "Do you have any ice cream that's also a magical unicorn in disguise?" (Okay, maybe not, but they'd try!) The only tiny suggestion I have for improvement is a shade for the outdoor flowers. On hot days, they get sunburnt and sad. But hey, it's a classic Trader Joe's, clean, fresh, and just a joy to shop at. I'm a happy customer for sure!

Whoever the attendant is for self checkout for today, Jan. 6 2026 around 4pm - 5pm, is extremely…read morerude and unprofessional, and needs to be re-trained in her customer service skills or let go. This was an absolutely ridiculous experience, especially for a grocery store. I was at self-checkout, scanning items when I scanned something that showed a different price from what I had seen on the shelf. I pressed the call attendant button and she was finishing up helping customers at another self-checkout machine. She came over and I told her the price was different than what I saw on the shelf, and asked if she could remove the item so I could go and grab another item from the shelf. She proceeded to cut me off while I was trying to talk, then YELLED at me and told me that because I already entered my number for the Ralph's rewards card, I HAD TO buy/pay for that item. Then when I tried to explain again because she had cut me off and didn't let me finish talking, she had the audacity to make a "calm down" gesture. I never raised my voice nor used any sort of foul/rude language towards her. She was the one yelling and spitting in my face. I was confused because I don't think she understood what I was trying to say or even listening to what I was trying to say. I told her I wanted to void the item and go back and grab another item instead and she absolutely ignored everything I said. She kept saying I HAD TO pay for the item because "while I was scanning my items, I had enough time to see the price". What the heck is that supposed to mean???!!? I just wanted the item to be void so I could grab something else within the price point I was looking for. She wasn't listening or understanding anything I was trying to say. How do you have a customer service facing job when you lack any and all sort of communication skills and manners? She was so busy yelling nonsense at me and ignored everything I said. She also SPAT in my face as she was yelling in my face. That's not only unprofessional, but extremely rude and disgusting. This should not be a position for her to be working. She was unhelpful, rude, and made my grocery shopping trip extremely unpleasant when all I was trying to do was grab stuff for dinner. My suggestion - skip the self-checkout and go to a regular cashier. It'll save you the headache and so you won't get spat at by a rude employee.

I went to self check out but because I had beer, I could not check out. JACKIE told me she would find someone to help me. They never came. I roamed around until I found MIKE. He told me Jackie should check me out. I told him she would not. He opened a lane. This is the worst service of any grocery store. Mike told me, "Where have you been? Crime and stealing are out of control." I told him I have not stolen from him, but maybe they should just close the store since crime is an issue and they do not provide service. He became angry. I am a 30 year Ralphs customer. This store is awful and I want to tell RALPHS and KROGER about me experience.
