Throughout my childhood, I was frequently dragged here by my mom. I have vivid memories of being left to hold her place in line while she "quickly" went back to get something. Lo and behold, I would get to the front of the line, and she would still be gone. That's probably one of the reasons I used to avoid Marshalls, Ross, and Burlington as an adult. I've done quite a bit of shopping at the aforementioned stores in the past year, and I can confidently say that mom was onto something. Marshalls has a large selection of items at different price points, so there is something for everyone. They have a lot of smaller items at low prices that can be used as stocking stuffers or in DIY gift baskets for the holidays. It does get messy sometimes, but it's usually not too bad. read more

This Marshalls is not my favorite layout, but I was able to find what I needed here. The skin care section is a little more disorganized than I'd like, but I did find an Innis product that I wanted to try and it ended up working great. I was also looking for cookware for my house and specifically needed a cookie sheet pan and found plenty in the back of the store. I ended up getting one by David Burke and it came with the cooling rack for $9.99 which these go for about $25 on Amazon. I had no idea who David Burke was, but I can tell you his cookie pans have a texture to it and my cookies all came out amazing and cooked evenly throughout, despite them being a variety of shapes and sizes! Parking is plentiful but this shopping center gets busy so be careful driving through here. read more

I love Marshall's. This is a great place to buy gifts, home decor, hair accessories, pet clothes, toys, and clothing. I recently got my grandpa a nice Dodgers jersey and an Ohtani t shirt for a great value. Service is good here, but keep in mind the lines are usually long. I frequently come to this Marshall's, I love their selection, but I recently had a terrible experience with their service. I'm not sure if it was a manager or a CEC, but I politely asked a woman, with a monroe piercing, if it was okay to swap out an item I had purchased 5 minutes ago because I realized it was chipped. She asks me if it's "the same numbers." I continue to say, yup it's the same department, style number," then she rudely interrupted me saying, "The numbers?!" with the nastiest tone as I was going to add that the prices, and the item is the exact same. Making it seem like I have no idea what I'm talking about. Ive worked at TJ Maxx for a while now, so I know what I'm on about. She then proceeds to ask me to take the item out of my bag, and checks the price. No other words were said as she slides me the item I wanted to replace. I say thank you, she gives me a dirty look and just walks away. The whole interaction felt like I was being a burden for asking a simple question. The person I was shopping with was also stunned by this associate's response. I do indeed love shopping here but this experience made me feel uncomfortable. There was zero plans of stopping by, but my party of 4 had to walk off some of the pigout grub we had at Broken Yolk Cafe nearby. Typical of other Marshalls store, they had similar selections as one would expect. There were a few bargain buys and some seasonal items (i.e., Halloween and Thanksgiving) already in display. I took an interest on a C-end table and I almost pulled the trigger, but at close inspection, it is poorly made. So, that was a hard pass (not to mention a turn off.) I left empty handed but Mom and GodDaughter ended up with plenty of bargain buys. The store, overall, was fairly organized and clean. This is my favorite store it's not target anymore... I found my new skincare products here! They have soo much to choose from in the skincare and beauty products! I can spend all day here! It's pretty organized except the clearance aisle but it's too expect it's different products ... I have found bargain deals here! You have to keep going in order to find good finds! Not always good finds but that's why I go almost every Saturday or Sunday ... If you've been to a Marshall's department store a number of times and grown accustomed to the layout, you then know the layout of all the Marshall's stores anywhere. My only complaint...the stocks on the floor, or misplaced stock...same at all the stores! Ha-ha-ha! My wife loves this store for the items she can pick up, mainly from the Home and Garden section. Bargain or not...? I accompany her to the store as I find it the duty of every loving husband to play the cart-pusher and security guard...and driver! And payer, first and foremost! Ha-ha-ha! But I do pick up some items in the store. Mainly, at the food section. And most of the times, the trail mixes! I have a feeling that I might get it cheaper somewhere...but the nice thing about it is that it's there and it's there now! I can order it from Amazon, and maybe cheaper too...but I want to be driving home munching on the trail mix, and not a second more! I've also picked up a few business shirts at a price lower than I could find from the outlet stores nearby. Maybe. Sometimes, a wall picture/painting or two for my office. My wife loves to shop at Marshall's and T.J. Maxx (they're the same thing, aren't they?) and somehow I was tricked into stopping here while out running errands. She was here almost an hour and purchased a small purse and a couple of clothing items at excellent prices. Aside from clothing, shoes, purses, and luggage you can find kitchen items, bedding, and a variety of non-perishable food items. I thought this store was maintained very neat and tidy. Cashiers keep the lines moving quickly and there were friendly associates amongst the aisles who could assist customers with questions. Note: Restrooms are located at the front of the store next to the shoe section. Also, plenty of parking if you need to sit in your car and nap while you wait for your wife. read more

I always find really good pet stuff on sale. They have a big selection of price drops for Kong toys and more including treats and accessories that's typically what I go for and their clearance section is an aisle of wonders which is fun to explore. I personally think their bath and clothes section would be cheaper if you go next door to Ross for the same items but not their pet section. read more

We love shopping at Marshals but at this store in Fullerton, it seems our experience has gone from bad to worst. Very filthy store. The workers are also very rude and disrespectful. One of the oldest cashiers there was pulling all the labels from the clearance items that I was trying to pay for, and was telling me that wasn't the price. I explained that I got all the items from their back clearance items, which were all marked down. She kept calling people over and over to check on practically all the prices. Mam, it's not your store and it's not that serious. They shouldn't mark down items if they are going to make you feel like a thief. I was trying to pay for my items, but she was going through every tag and saying it was mislabeled. She literally pulled all the red tags until she got to a price she felt comfortable with. I could not believe she was doing that, and for her to go to that extent for clearance items! This was insane and ridiculous! The manager came over and just didn't say or do anything! I was so annoyed at this point! How about you put that effort in keeping the store clean including your nasty restrooms. There was urine and blood all over the walls and floors. No paper and no soap! The smell was so disgusting. I would not want anyone else to go through this experience. Very frustrating and annoying! Don't bother spending your hard earned money at this store. I normally do not write reviews, but the acts of kindness the staff has to offer, deserve to be on spotlight ! I have always chosen this Marshalls as my primary store when it comes to shopping for clothing, decor, accessories, etc. Unfortunately, I am moving to another city next month, and decided to stop by one last time. That same night I asked the staff, both Richard and the lovely Manager if they had any boxes they did not need, because I needed them for moving/packaging. I had tough luck elsewhere, yet Marshalls had lots to offer. The manager sent a couple of guys to pick the biggest boxes from the back room and sent them my way. I love this place. They have lot of good products! I love the coffee and the snacks. Some times they are really cheap. Great quality too! The toys and children's books are also good. You can find good deals. The store is clean and the staff are nice. However, some times, the store may be understaffed and you may have to wait in line. Also, some days, there would be a mess in the store but clean up or organization would take some time because the staff are quite busy. However, overall, love this place! I love this place- I come here every week for treasure hunts- We bought lot of good snacks and condiments. We also got a good trash can and toys for children- It is really great! But there are two issues. First, it may not be as cheap as you think. Always, take out your phone and compare with Amazon and other online retailers- Second, sometimes, it is super disorganized. I think they are understaffed. There were days that clothings were all over the floor. Another day, I found hats, perfumes, and other stuff in a whole mess. But I understand, it is a large shop and not everyone puts back thing. Still I really love this place- I even convinced my husband to get Marshall's card, which we are using it for good use. So if you shop a lot here, Marshall's card is not a bad deal. Just make sure that you always pay on time- Overall, great shop! read more

Maybe because it was a Saturday night when I walked in here, but this store was a mess. Nobody seemed to be picking things up off the floor or rearranging the shelves. I guess everyone was at the register? There were about 10 people in line, but since there were about 5 registers open, it went faster than I expected. My fiancé likes to come here for things like socks, underwear, undershirts, and belts. I did not have the patience to browse through the racks, everything seemed out of place anyway, but I did look at knick-knacks for gift ideas. The store has a lot more tech accessories than I expected as well. I don't think I would necessarily come back here, and if I do, I hope it is much more organized. read more

Three stars for return policy! Went in to return a charger I had purchased for an iPhone! I threw away my receipt and packaging two weeks prior, thinking I wasn't going to have a problem! It cracked!!! So since it had only been two weeks I figured it would be a quick exchange! I went in, looked for the same item or something similar! I found one kind of similar and the price was the same, $7.99! I figured easy exchange or store credit! NOPE! The cashier says I couldn't even get store credit because they do not do exchanges or returns without a receipt on electronics! I asked where on the receipt does it state that? ( It does not) She tells me the cashier at the time of purchase had to verbally tell me when I purchased it! (She did not!) The cashier huffs and puffs, says there is nothing she can do, so I ask for the manager! Mary comes in and exchanges it very nicely. Of course she informs me they will only do it this one time! Great customer service! Quick and painless, but I did not purchase the other two chargers I had in my hand! Why? Because of the way the cashier handled the situation! Yes, I will still shop here... It's an ok store, but I'm bumping it up a star because this place is actually clean, and for holiday season, appropriately staffed for the amount of increased customer traffic that comes in. Came here to get some quick threads, and toured through the whole store to get what I need. A lot of stuff is naturally on clearance right now, naturally because it's Marshall's. But, as some unnamed wise person once said, only buy what you need! Anyway, I was in and out of here in about 20 minutes. Word to the wise, check Google to see how busy this place gets, if it's a busy part of the day, you are going to run into a lot of car and foot traffic in the parking lot that connects to the Marshall's. I go to this store usually for their pots and planters. Unlike other Marshalls nearby, this store is always stocked up with cute pots for my plant bbs. 4 inch pots are ranging from $5.99-7.99 and 6 inch pots are $7.99-$9.99. If you're in the plant scene and you're constantly searching for pots you'll know these prices are very good! They are currently limiting people in the store so there might be a line outside. I usually go on a Friday around 4p-5p and i never experienced waiting in line. read more

This Marshalls store is alright. I usually buy something at the one near my house (the one tourists are most likely to go to, since it's located next to the Boulevard Mall). I didn't find anything, though, I was very tempted to buy some Philosophy three-in-one gels, but I didn't (I just bought one last week, could be the reason why I didn't)- there were some very yummy options (OK, you don't eat it, but they sure remind me of food, chocolate chip cookies, fudge cake or something ). The bag section was just alright, usually I'm debating which one to buy, but all the B Makowskys were very heavy, and I am trying to find a light one, one that won't kill my back and shoulders. The shoe section was just alright, too. I did like the wool sweaters in the Misses section. I was debating buying a few, but I didn't. I'll just have to check out my favorite one back home, of course, after all my Christmas shopping is done. Only 19 more days until Christmas. (i'm hinting for gift cards here, haha). read more

Love Marshalls! I come in here at random times just to see what random things they have. You can really come up on some good finds here, from shoes to clothes , to luggage ect.... it's a retail store so don't expect it to always be super organized lol. When checking out, they always have little random things to look at in buy to add that little extra to your total. During xmas time, they also sell wrapping paper. They also have an area full of different items for your phone or headphones, or different kinds of gadgets. I will always be back to see what I find next. read more

Went shopping here with my sister today. Dressing rooms were very nice and clean. The two ladies working in the fitting room were really sweet as well. Selection of shoes and clothes is pretty decent. Before we checked out my sister went to apply for a store credit card. The employee who handled this gave her a coupon for 10% off (as advertised) and told her she could use it all day. Cool since we were planning on going to TJ Maxx after. When we went to purchase our items the associate took her coupon. When she asked for it back he informed her it could only be used once. We ended up speaking to the manager who said the same thing and wouldn't give us another coupon. Ok, fine. I was also purchasing some shorts for my husband and while shopping noticed that all the same shorts were marked down for clearance except the size I needed. I took one of the clearance pairs to the register and showed him. He said he could discount it but then the manager said she couldn't. The reasoning was: the pair I wanted had been previously returned so consequently hadn't been in the store as long as the other pairs and couldn't be marked down. Umm... Ok. I've done enough shopping to know the manager could've helped us out on at least one of these issues. The cashier was very nice though. Guess I'll stick to Marshall's in Brea. read more

Bad experience! Manager asked her cashier to charge me more than what was on the sale mark price because the red sale mark price not attached to the tag but it was on the pouch instead. Who's fault is that? She supposed to apologize by putting the wrong sale price if it's actually incorrect. Your staff must put the red sale price to the actual original tag so you don't doubt on people. I spent $350+++ fyi! Think think think! They have a huge selection in anything you are looking for whether it be shoes, clothes, purses, kitchen appliances, home decor, the list goes on and on. I stopped in here while in the area looking for small children gifts for a friend and some bedside tables for myself. In general, Marshalls can be hit or miss if you are searching for specific items, but this store was a bit sparse in inventory compared to others I've been to. First time coming to this Marshall's in Fullerton and I did not have a pleasant experience. The customer service is really poor. Was never greeted and it's hard finding someone on the floor to ask questions. Yes they have a lot of great things and great deals but they need to improve on the employees they hire. I went in looking for a summer dress. I was able to find 3 I really liked. When going to the fitting room an Asian middle aged lady never gave me a number to put in my fitting room. When coming out she asked me for my number and I told her she never gave me one. She made a scene and said that she never forgets to give numbers and that it was in my purse, proceeding to lean over and look into my purse. Granted my purse wasn't big, I opened it for her and she called an employee to hold me by the fitting room while she looked in the fitting room. Wow? Seriously? The employee standing with me outside the dressing room even apologized for the inconvenience. Yes lady, a maxi summer dress fits in my small purse. Who doesn't love Marshalls. This one in particular is okay. I always find something for myself. They have good brands. I'm mostly interested in under armour or Nike. Their handbag selection is pretty good. You find brands like micheal Kors, Kate spade, Calvin Klein, coach. They are always pretty stocked up, I don't think I've seen it low in stock. Cleanliness is okay. Sometimes there is a mess but employees do a good job keeping it clean. read more

I shop at Marshalls all the time but just recently I had a terrible experience at your Fullerton store recently. I was shopping in the clearance section and came across a pair of jean reduced to $5. I took them with me to the fitting room, tried them on and decided to buy them. When I came out I realized the tag was no longer on them, I asked the very friendly changing room attendant and she called for help. As she called for help we both saw the tag on the floor, it was for the same amount ($5) so I assumed it was the one belonging to the pants. The second girl who came to help claimed they must have been mis-tagged and that they were $16.99 even though the comparison pair she brought out was a completely different design. She flat out refused to honor the tag. I have a Marshalls credit card and ordinarily love the service but this has me seriously considering not coming back. read more
