I swear to god, I can count on one hand the amount of breakfast sandwiches I've had that were on the same level as the "Texas Bacon Egg n Cheese" (+ Jalapeños) I had at this place. Place is a dump. Not a customer in the joint when I walked in, yet a clean table was no where to be found. Clean things up a but, and this review goes 5 star. Came in about 5am on a Tuesday. Ordered an egg white omelette, dry wheat toast, and hashbrowns. Witnessed a most unique way to separate eggs, but it worked, and the eggs were real. They were out of tomatoes and onions, so I settled for jalepeno and mushrooms. The omelette was very well done, and the hashbrowns were surprisingly good. Dry wheat toast is dry wheat toast. Server was pleasant, food was quick. Got a coffee refill without asking. Also noticed the only employee wearing a mask was the one that didn't need to, the cook. Saw him whipping down his area between orders, doing his part to stop the Corona. Clean the rest of the place up and this would have been a great experience. read more

I look forward to my Saturday morning trip to Waffle House. Regardless of where in the country, I have found the service to be quick and attentive. This morning at the Cassady St location in Columbus, Ohio, that was not the case. My waitress seemed more dedicated to washing dishes, and she actually tossed my butter and jam onto my table. I enjoy the attention to my coffee cup, and not letting it run too low. Today I had to wave across the diner to get the waitress bring me a refill. I usually tip an "adult minimum" and leave the change from my bill. Today all I left was the change. I will be back to this location but I will he more mindful of who my server will be. read more

If you want a true mid-western experience at a diner, Waffle House is the place to be. When you first walk in, the decor and the open kitchen bring you back in time. There's also a jukebox in the corner if you want to play a specific song. For the drink, I ordered the iced tea-monade and it was delicious. A little more sour than I would have liked but delicious none the less. I ordered the 2 eggs breakfast with bacon and it was very good. The bacon was a little too salty but still very crispy. We've been waiting out side the window For 20 minutes and when we arrived here around 8:45 and they told us that they're not taking orders until nine is now past 9 o'clock and they're just standing around at the counters laughing with AirPods in, somebody sitting at a table, nobody's really doing their job . Traveling with Brie, sis and her kids to Denver. We are in Ohio for a 5 hours layover. Decided to find a place to eat. Went to try Waffle House. Staff: we were greeted with smiley faces and very welcoming. Ticara and Love were very attentive and helpful. Food: sis ordered pecan chicken salad and the portion is big. Brie ordered chocolate waffle and she said it was delicious. I ordered the Texas chicken melt and it was very tasty. The three adults drank the Alice teamonade. It's pretty delicious Price: reasonable Cleanliness: floor needs to be swept and mopped but I can imagine traffic in this place is pretty busy. My experience here was what I would describe as great in taste, and painful in most other ways. We arrived about 1 in the afternoon lending to our late start to the day and were in the mood for breakfast. You see, Waffle House being a cheap establishment makes people less apt to respecting the establishment and those in it; at least in this area. This in turn led to a very loud obnoxious shouty environment, and though there were a few as 15 people inside the restaurant. Anyhow, I received my breakfast without my steak, the steak arriving just minutes later. I must say, I was very impressed by how satisfying it was considering it being half the price of Denny's or IHOP. The eggs were fluffy, the hash browns were crisp. Waffle House checked every box for being a decent cheap breakfast place. As for the service, our waitress was very attentive, although noticeably stressed as she was new and yet no one appeared to be helping her out. For over a decade waffle house has been my favorite restaurant to come by and get a bite for myself several times a month. I have never had an experience like the one I had two days ago. We were the first customers to come in and be seated and yet no one came up to our table to help us. 3 other tables got help and food before we were even seen. Finally we were seen by one of the rudest waiters I have seen. She took our drink orders and asked if we were ready to eat we placed our orders and I told her we had a third party who was in the restroom who needed to order. He came out and never had his order taken. We arrived at two and didn't get our food until 4:15. We never got our drinks I got an all star and never got a waffle or my side of meats. My partner got a hash brown bowl that didn't have anything she ordered inside of it. When we got the bill she charged us as if we got everything we ordered. I told her about the mistake and that we're only going to pay for the food we received she said okay went to scribble on a bill and handed us the same one. I ended up just paying it so we could leave and asked for her receipt but she refused to give it to me.I have never had an experience as bad as this one when dealing with anything. I used to come to Waffle House every day for my lunch break but after this one experience I don't think I'll be going to a waffle house ever again read more

Solid food, friendly people and open 24/7. This location convenient to hit late night on your way home from the airport. It was 1AM and we felt welcome. Eggs were good, they added some cheese to the grits for me and they were cooked perfectly. The waffles are thin, crisp and have a distinctive buttery flavor. The Waffle House is a nice place to eat at during breakfast if you're in a rush. I was out of there in about twenty minutes - when I visited they got right to it. Unfortunately, hence their name, they won't make exceptions to deliver pancakes. Normally, I don't like waffles, but I actually enjoyed the taste, so waffle-lovers will for sure be satisfied. From recent reviews, they aren't the cleanest but not to a major consent where it becomes a large concern.
