I never thought of going into this store. The front entrance and signage is very low key. My friend told me to check it out after he heard a catchy radio advertisement. I was still skeptical. We walked in and got a casual greeting from Marty. They carry all the major TV brands as well as accessories. They carry all the current models at competitive prices. After learning about all the new models and features, and some light negotiations I ended up purchasing an LG OLED. They beat the price compared to Best Buy, Frys, Costco, and even online retailers. For added security they even offer price protection for up to 90 days. It was a very pleasurable purchasing experience and and no time did I ever feel pressured. He didn't even sweat me for turning down the extended warranty even though it was a deal. Big shout out to Marty for keeping classy salesmanship alive. To complete the process, delivery and haul away of an old TV was smooth and professional. Vladimir came alone and hooked up all the HDMI inputs to the new set. We had such an excellent experience at Video Only that I wanted to add one more five-star review. Shopping for electronics has always been complex, but with the variety of display and sound technologies available now, it's gotten downright frustrating and unpleasant to try to make a good decision at a big-box store, where only a narrow range of options are in stock, and staff barely understanding the features. The experience at Video Only is entirely different. We did some research first and had a rough idea of what we wanted. Shawn spent a lot of time answering our questions and was incredibly helpful, explaining more about the differences between LED, QLED, and OLED, describing how edge backlighting vs full-array backlighting impact image quality and viewing angle, and showing us how we could see those and other differences for ourselves there in the showroom. He helped us to understand how the various brands and models differ - and of course more expensive options have more compelling features - but we never once had the feeling we were being upsold; he helped us figure out the right choice for us, based on our priorities and how much we felt comfortable spending. On top of all that, the prices are better! Shopping at Video Only was truly enjoyable. I didn't know places like this still existed. If you aren't into the technical details, they can advise you; if you are, they can dive as deep as you want to go. We've now purchased 3 sets here in the last year in all price ranges. The staff is unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. Each time I compared prices with the top online and local retailers (e.g. BB, big warehouse stores) and every time these guys had the lowest price for the same set by $100 or more. Pretty rare to see this many solid 5* ratings for any retailer - but well deserved. If you can wait to shop Thanksgiving week or Super Bowl week you will score some really amazing deals, but the other 50 weeks you still save $$$ over the competition. Buyer beware! We purchased our TV around August of 2018. Everyone at Video Only was great, the customer service was excellent. The problem we have is with the warranty we got with our TV. We have an issue with TV and have been trying to get it repaired since the beginning of October, we're going on two months and it still it hasn't been resolved. The warranty company they use is harder to schedule an appointment then at the DMV. The first company that the warranty company sent out never showed up to their appointment. The second company the refereed us to hasn't either. It took them 5 weeks to get a new panel delivered. Now that the panel is here they keep flaking on their appointments to come repair it. Did I mention it takes forever to get ahold of them were talking about 2 hour wait times on hold for them to answer. I liked video only prices and customer service but unfortunately I don't think there's anyway we can buy a tv from them again. We've bought several through Best Buy and had two warranty issues and never had any issues of it being resolved. Until Video Only changes their warranty company I would recommend staying away from buying from them. read more

I had a great experience at Video Only. My Aunt introduced me to Kally who gave her an amazing price for two large, Samsung TV's with extended services. We looked at the 55" QN85A and came back the next day to get it. But when we arrived, Kally told us the 65" version decreased another $200. So we got the 65" Samsung for the same price other stores sold the 55". Plus we got a 5-year service. Kally was awesome! As the TV was being rung up, we asked to see if it could be delivered 50 miles away, since the 65" could not fit in the car. And standing at the counter, was Doug and Jerry Crown of Valley Reception laughing as they overheard us, and was able to deliver the large TV that afternoon! They not only set up the TV in the bedroom, but connected it up to the stereo with surround sound, and fine tuned the 65" Samsung TV downstairs to get the best look and sound. I normally buy my electronic toys online or Costco, but they were able to not just match but beat any store price. I bought my Samsung 82Q6FN from the the manager Marty and believe me he took care of me and my friends. The price he gave us for our each individual purchase from TVs and sound systems, online retailers cannot touch. My friends and I did not get pressured at all; Marty in fact was very knowledgeable. Just randomly ended up in Video Only - we actually stopped there to go to the furniture store and I suggested to my husband we go "look." Because of the excellent service and prices we ended up purchasing a 75" tv!!! Elliott was wonderful at explaining the differences in the options in a low tech way that I appreciated, but also was able to answer my husband's more detailed questions. We learned as we were checking out that Elliott is a newer employee, but we never would have guessed that given how knowledgeable and helpful he was. They stayed open late to let us run home to get our bigger car (we really weren't planning to buy a tv). I also really appreciated that Elliott was so willing to look up the same tv on competitors' websites to show us their pricing. Since we weren't actually planning to buy a tv, we needed the reassurance we were getting a good deal and Elliott was willing to spend the time to let us compare prices and options. Also, we know we have the added backup of the price matching, which is nice. We will definitely be back when we are in the market for a tv again (or maybe a new sound system is in our future soon). My husband and I had made two purchases with Video Only; 82 inch tv and harmony products and were very happy with our purchases years later. We had done quite a bit of research on surround sound systems and decided to go with Sonos. Jesse was very helpful in getting us set up with the purchase. After 3 weeks dealing with issues with the Sonos system we decided to return it. (The system frequently dropped during movies or football games despite talking with Sonos and reinstalling the system.) This is where the customer service took a dive. We explained to Jesse the issues with the system and the trouble shooting that had been done and requested to return the system. He now informs us, they don't do returns only exchanges. What ?!?! He now says, "Once the boxes are open we can't return them, unless defective then only exchanges. He brings over Aaron and he continues to trouble shoot why the Sonos didn't work. He later says it's a known issue with Sonos. I ask again to return the system as it is not working and we were not told we couldn't return the product after boxes were opened. Jesse said, keep all your original boxes and paperwork for returns. We brought it back in original boxes and paperwork. Long story short, we wanted a Sonos and ended up exchanging it for a Bose System for the same price. We already have a Bose System and know they are decent systems, however, I still would have like to research the current system and pricing before having to purchase it. There was definitely a note able shift in the quality of customer service when you are buying verses return or issues. I can only speak for myself, but I am very leery of a store that has a "No return policy." I personally believe a products quality speaks for itself and a quality store welcomes returns especially if you are a repeat customer. By the way, this was our first and only return. As of right now, I personally can't say I will return for any additional purchases in the future. read more

I purchased a 55" LG OLED TV from here for $350 less than the best price I could find at any other store. The TV was being offered at other stores for $2200 with a $150 gift card. Video Only advertised the same TV for $2000 with a $200 gift card. The floor sales rep offered to take the $200 directly off the price instead of providing a gift card. After further discussion, the sales rep said he would discount the price an additional $100 by applying "a manufacturer's rebate that expired yesterday." The final price was $1700 before tax. They also sold me a five year warranty for $129, which was cheaper than what was available from other retailers. The TV was delivered for free the next day. I set it up with no problems. The 65" TV of the same model was being advertised by Video Only for $3000 minus $500, and I got the impression that the "manufacturer's rebate" would have further lowered the price by another couple hundred. Comparable pricing elsewhere was $3200 minus a $150 gift card. The store itself is basic in appearance both inside and out. All they have is basic signage and rows of TVs inside. I personally would rather purchase from a no frills place that sold me a TV at a great price than go to a big box store that sold me the same TV for hundreds more. read more

We purchased a 77 inch LG OLED 4k TV from Video Only today and Lyle was the definition of customer service! He did a great job explaining the difference between some of the features, helped us look at mounting brackets and told us about the trade in feature, which saved us a couple hundred dollars! Their prices beat Best Buy and Costco. One observation I made, which dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars was the energy (or lack of) from the other sales associates and manager when we walked in as they all seemed to scatter rather than extend a greeting or offer to help. I noticed the manager went out of his way to assist other customers with receiving and loading their TVs into their vehicles, however after we spent over $4,000 in his store, he didn't offer to get/load our TV or even thank us for our purchase! Overall, this is a great alternative to the big box stores and they have good prices; I only hope their customer service can rise to the same standards. read more

I bought an LG LED TV only 4.5 years ago from the Dublin Video Only. About 2 months ago I started to notice spots intermittently on the screen and ended up Googling the issue. Turns out I'm not the only one to have experienced this. The glue used on the "reflectors" was not good and they were dropping off. There was a fix shown so I thought I would try it, but when I picked up the TV I heard more of them fall. So I decided to take it back to the store. An apology was given and a comment that LG is one of the top rated brands but nothing more than that. On my way to Costco to replace it. At least I won't expect any sympathy if this one fails in less than 5 years!! read more

I wanted a state of the art machine, which they had in stock as soon as it was released. The gentleman working there told me listen if the price goes down during the memorial day weekend then you can come back and I will give you a refund for the difference. So when I checked today I noticed that indeed the price had gone down significantly and sure enough, they gave me a full refund for the difference!
