In 2017, I purchased a 65" Samsung KS9800 for our living room. Sean was our salesman then and offered some really good advice for a TV based on our room size, technology bent, and budget. It was a great price from my recollection - the TV and extended warranty for less than the going sale price of all the local retailers. Fast-forward to now, our bedroom 32" Toshiba LED TV had a dying HDMI input so we went back to Video Only and who did I see again? Sean! But this time he was the store manager. I saw the new Samsung S90C and he gave my wife and I an informal tour. The price of the TV at the time was $2499, what Best Buy and Crutchfield and Amazon were selling it for. Sean said since we were repeat customers he could do better on the price. Out of respect for the process, let's say it was significant enough for my wife to say, "Um we should get that TV." Note to my married friends... my *wife* said this. With that I asked about extended warrantees and a wall mount. Let's just say it was A LOT less than the $400+ and $150+ cost of that *other* electronics retailer across town. We ended up buying the TV, extended warranty, wall mount AND a Yamaha RX-V4a surround receiver and TAX for nearly the sale price of the TV alone from that *other* electronics retailer across town. Samsung 77 inch tv failed after 379 days. Extremely poor customer service with Video Only and their ProtectAll warranty provider. My recommendation and past experience, do not purchase Samsung. Costco warranty is preferred due too two year manufacture warranty. I do not recommend Video Only, as well as Samsung products. I have contacted all parties involved with no resolution. With only less than two weeks out of the one year warranty expired none of the above provided resolution on a $2300 purchase. read more

Went shopping (on-line) for a bigger TV around black Friday. Decided on a Samsung '65 and compared prices in several places. Got the best offer from Ken at Video Only ($500 or so less than Best Buy, etc.) who suggested I buy that day as Sansumg would probably jack up prices the next day. Bought the TV and, sure enough, prices went up $500 the next day. Delivery, install, warranty was great. Would highly recommend checking with them before buying, like their ads say. Unfortunately, the set now seems to have a color issue; a weird blue tint suddenly appearing on flesh tones. I trust Video Only to make things right. Will amend review if necessary. read more

I've passed by this place so many times in the past. You know when their neighbors used to be this place called Hooters (wife: for reference purposes only). Anyhoo, it's now Thanksgiving weekend and even though I don't need it, it's 100% FOMO time so looking to get a new 65 incher. Best Buy and Costco are the go-to places, but a buddy told me about this place. Now, you walk into this place and it's like a step back in time. Except, there's awesome flat screen TVs in here. This place would make so much sense if it were stocked with tube TVs of yesteryear, but it's the yin and yang of linoleum floors and 4K TVs that make it work so good. Throw in the great service and insane pricing, and you've got a winning formula. We were helped by Dominic, who was super helpful and got us great deals on a group pricing. Thanks! Ended up with two 65 Samsung and LG OLED. Stunning pictures, hopefully we get to watch the Niners in the SuperBowl in a few months. One last thing. Your warranty pricing is a crazy good deal. I had been doing research on a new TV and was recommended to check out video only. No regrets here! I checked out their website and was delighted to see that they had a list of their inventory/features associated prices already listed. This made it extremely easy for me to review and compare against other stores. I came on Black Friday and was overwhelmed by the many choices, but I'm glad I did because I was able to visually compare the one I originally wanted with other models/brands. I decided on the LG 55 inch OLED C1 TV. This model was obviously the most clear among the 55 inch options. It was priced at $1299 on the tag ($100 off MSRP) but when I went to check out, it was actually $1199! I was ecstatic about this deal. When I came it was busy but not crowded. I felt like service could have been better as I blatantly stood at the check out line to be helped but once the employees were finished with their previous customer they'd walk away and out to the floor, so I felt a bit ignored. I stood there for a while and had to flag someone down eventually to check out. Once it was done one of them politely loaded it successfully into my car, so that was nice! I just finished visiting Video Only for the first time. WOW I've never experienced an electronics company beating Costco and Best Buy. I've always purchased at Costco for the good deals. I never thought a local store would be able to compete. Appliance and electronics stores usually tell me they don't price match membership stores like Costco. Video Only didn't need to price match; their price was lower! They also have affordable extended warranties. I purchased my tv from video only $1700 in Dec 2021 . It took them some time to deliver. then a month later I went back to purchase the extended warranty I didnt have the sell receipt on me but I had the credit card statement, the manager was adamant that this will not work. I am sure he could have pulled a copy from his computer but he refused. That was just over a month of purchasing . Low and behold the oled panel gave up after fourteen months. It will cost me around $2000 to repair according to LG representative. Now what kind of a customer service that was, I tell you, the worst. I was told I'd know by 930am today. Every other company calls the day b4 to let you know. So I called at 958a today. I was told by Justin, he'd call me back. Nope never did. Our simple tv replacement ended up being a mystery to solve due to our shaky internet connection. We've had problems with our internet for about six years and have had Comcast out at least five times yet they could never rectify the problem. Very happy with our experience here, after getting mediocre service at Best Buy and no service in the TV section of Costco, which were the other two stores we considered for a recent electronics purchase. The selection is on par with Best Buy and superior to Costco, and the prices are lower than Best Buy and comparable to Costco. We bought a smart TV and sound-bar last Sunday from this location. They threw in a 10 foot HDMI cable for free (they give 6-foot ones free with Yelp Check-in). Our knowledgeable, friendly and no-pressure salesperson Ken C even upgraded our warranty from 1 to 5 years (for no charge!) once we mentioned Yelp! They recommended an installer who came to our place later in the week and put everything up to my wife's satisfaction, even moved a plug so we didn't have any wires hanging around. All for a very reasonable price. So you get a wide selection, low prices, great service, and valuable freebies. What's not to like? Buying higher priced electronics, especially a new TV, can be quite time consuming. Especially when it comes to financing. So how long did it take me to buy a new tv here? A whopping 18 minutes in-and-out of store. That's right. I did not expect to be done that quickly. I knew what I wanted, and they had the best price compared to Best Buy/Amazon, etc. I called them up, and Jesse was really helpful in answering my initial questions. They had one of the TVs I wanted left in their stock, and Jesse put it on hold for me. I showed up a couple hours later. Im writing this review because i was denied to purchase my items with an American Express card. Not that they didn't accept, it just that they got charged more vs. visa or master card. When i pointed out that they accept amex and asked why they didn't want to take it, Aaron replied with " i gave you the bundle deal for buying a tv and sound bar so if we charge the amex card we'll have to charge you the processing fee. I was so confused at the moment as why i couldn't pay with my amex, all he said was "yea, either pay with another card or i can't help you". If amex charges you more than other credit card companies don't accept amex!! which is more understandable then saying "we accept it but we'll have to charge you the processing fee". Let me break it down: I literally spent 6 months researching the components I wanted for my home theater. I lived at Magnolia (inside Best Buy). I found the TV I wanted there for $4500. I checked out Video Only, and if you've been inside you know they can't compete on looks and location. I understand why though. I gave the salesman the model# I wanted. He left me and went to the back, came back in about 2 minutes and flat out said, "I can get that for $3800. Free delivery and pickup, and I'll throw in a 5 year warranty." DONE DEAL !!! I upgraded a few years back to my current 65" Samsung (some model# don't ask, but it's super thin). Since Samsung doesn't allow retailers to cut prices, they couldn't beat the price. But, he threw in the warranty and delivery again for free, and he threw in a wireless keyboard as well. DONE DEAL !!! The money they save you is because they aren't spending it on plush digs and whatnot. I had a great experience recently. My tv of about 9 years died on me on Easter Sunday. Although they were closed Easter the manager Ken picked up the phone. He said they were there cleaning the store. So Monday I head over and was greeted by Ken who asks Aaron to help me. Aaron did a fantastic job of leading me to a couple 65inch TV's. He then went on to show me a nice open box 4k tv. They went ahead and showed me it had not been fully opened or turned on. He gave me a great deal including a 3 year warranty. I have never gone into the Video only before. I usually buy from other electronic retailers but I went to check it out after I got a great recommendation from a friend. I wasn't disappointed. I went in looking for a low grade TV to see the picture and my mindset was if the picture of this TV wasn't good. I will look at other brands. I wanted a decent TV that didn't break the bank but I also knew I wanted a Samsung as I have had good luck with that brand.
