Worked with Erik Valdivia. He was super nice and helpful, and he wasn't pushy or trying to upsell us. The showroom was also very nice to look around. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for new appliances. read more

Have been a loyal customer for about 11 years but the recent experience was very dismissive. We have purchased many appliances from Airport Home Appliance, going back 2015 --a time when the older gentleman operated the stores on the other side of the street. During January 2026, I purchased a new LG dishwasher from Homewise Appliance (formerly Airport). About a week ago, our dishwasher motor began making a high-pitched sound and in three to four days stopped working. We called them immediately sharing our concerns that this is happening within the warranty period. I have elderly people at home for whom I care, and this is a major inconvenience for us. Erik, my sales manager had provided a very good sales experience and spoke very highly of LG. Homewise Appliance also sold me an additional service plan at an "additional cost." I was specifically told that purchasing this service would get us immediate attention from technicians who worked closely with Homewise Appliance, instead of our having to rely on a home-warranty company or find our own appliance-repair technician. I was also told that if the appliance could not be repaired, it would be replaced. I verified these assurances multiple times and paid extra because home-warranty companies do not generally show any urgency. I have now called Homewise Appliance several times, but no one seems concerned about resolving the problem. I am now being told that Homewise has no control over the repair company and I need to deal with LG myself. If that is true, why was I sold any additional service plan besides the basic warranty at all? The truth is that many independent appliance-repair companies in the Pleasanton area will respond within 24 to 48 hours. There is no reason for customers to pay Homewise Appliance for an additional service plan if the company cannot provide the prompt and reliable assistance promised during the sale. A good sales experience with a family-owned business means very little if the company disappears when the customer actually needs the service for which they paid. I expect Homewise Appliance to arrange an immediate inspection of my dishwasher and honor the terms and representations under which this additional service was sold to me. Instead, I am now faced with having to deal with LG directly, without any support from Homewise, while Erik is away on vacation. read more

Erik was very informative about the dishwashers we were interested in. He didn't try to push us to a more expensive model. We appreciated that. Delivery and install went very smoothly. I will most likely go back when I need another major appliance. read more

Ordered an almost $7k range. Was never delivered. No call or update from staff. I had to do all the leg work and follow up to find out what was going on. Turns out I was sold a range that per another store, "was discontinued over a year ago". This store does not have good business practices. I work hard for my money and on top of not receiving my product, wasn't called by "end of day" as promised. I had to call and ask for the manager. I will be taking my business to Friedman's where they sell products that are actually still in stock. Additional: Ann, the manufacturers discontinuation from over a year ago has nothing to do with the fact that your employee allowed this transaction to go through two weeks ago. They should Have known that the item was not available. Don't blame the manufacturer for this. read more

Poor Customer Service from Gary (General Manager) of Home Wise and their delivery company. They damaged our cabinets as well as burned them with a lighter and damaged our microwave they installed. Approaching 1 year later, still no resolve. Our cabinets look terrible and the microwave was installed so poorly it's damaged and promised an RMA was approved. Yet no action had been completed in their end. Someone from corporate called and said that our claim was too high and sent us to insurance. Now their insurance adjuster has stopped communication. Do your research before choosing where to purchase from to ensure they back up their work and make things right. What makes this situation worse, is that Gary physically came to the house and when said let's refuse the install, he convinced me that his installer does this all the time and not to worry. Now they left me high and dry with a damaged kitchen cabinet and microwave. read more

I have been shopping at Homewise and their prior company Airport Appliance for over a decade. They have been fantastic and are very knowledgable about their products. I want to personally give shout out to Gary and Ruchi for a great customer experience. read more

I'm -still- waiting to hear back. After they failed to deliver the refrigerator on 7/6 due to their ridiculous -unposted- policies about the requirements for hookup, and then failed to deliver on 7/8 because the "new" refrigerator was somehow missing pieces that kept the installers from being able to actually set it up, I emailed on 7/15 to inquire about an ETA. It's now 7/23 and I haven't heard anything. Attempting to contact them through chat on their site appears to be largely pointless. (I'm collecting the chat attempts and they just don't seem to generally have anyone available to respond, so it'll kick you out after a minute or two). The incompetence is staggering to me. read more

Highly Recommended - Homewise Appliance, Dublin I have been a loyal customer of Homewise Appliance - Dublin for the past 11 years, and every experience has been outstanding. Their team truly focuses on understanding the customer's needs rather than simply making a sale. They patiently listen, provide honest recommendations, and help you choose the appliance that best fits your requirements and budget. A special thanks to Lucinda Tromblay, who went above and beyond throughout my recent purchase. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to understand my needs, offered excellent advice, worked with me to secure a great discount, explained the extended warranty options in detail, and even helped coordinate a smooth installation appointment. Her customer service was exceptional from start to finish. What I appreciate most about Homewise Appliance is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They offer competitive pricing, quality appliances, professional installation, and continue to support their customers even after the sale. I highly recommend Homewise Appliance - Dublin to anyone looking for quality appliances backed by outstanding customer service. I've recommended them to many of my friends and family over the years, and I'll continue to do so with confidence. Thank you, Lucinda and the entire Homewise Appliance team, for another excellent experience! read more

I was fed up with the big box store experience for several reasons, so when we needed a new washing machine I told my Mom I wanted us to stop in at Homewise Appliance. We were fortunate to be greeted by Erik. The inventory, the quality of the products, availability and Erik's expertise on ALL products - it all was so amazing that I would recommend anyone to do their business with Homewise. It's absolutely clear why they have had a successful business in the Bay Area all these years and they have not been squeezed out by the big box stores. There is absolutely no comparison. The folks who delivered and installed our appliances were also excellent. We bought a washer, dryer, refrigerator and stove hood. When we're ready for a new stove we'll be looking for Erik! We are so pleased with our products and we thoroughly appreciated Erik's knowledge of the products and how nice he was - all around awesome experience! read more

You can only do so much research--read reviews, watch YouTube, compare specs--but none of that replaces real confidence when you're making a big purchase. Erik is exactly why I came into Home Wise's showroom. He took the time to understand what I actually needed and guided me to the washer and dryer that fit those needs perfectly. Erik was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely personable, so the whole experience never felt like a transaction. He was also transparent about the entire process from start to finish. On top of that, my washer and dryer were delivered the very next morning with zero issues. Erik and Home Wise have earned my business for all of my future appliance needs. Highly recommend! read more

We've bought several appliances from this store over the years and it was fine for the most part, until the last two. First, no one told us the fridge shut-off valve needed to be directly behind the unit. Because of that, the installers couldn't complete the job, took the fridge back, and we had to deal with a last-minute water line install and reschedule everything over a weekend. Completely avoidable with proper communication. Then today, even worse - during an over-the-range microwave install, the installers damaged our induction range and left a visible ding. An expensive appliance now has damage because of careless installation. Poor communication and sloppy work have turned what used to be a reliable store into a frustrating experience. Very disappointing. Update - I wish I could give 0 stars. Just talked to the range manufacturer and it is not safe to use with damaged glass, so now we need to replace it. Just a terrible experience all around. read more

We came here to do research on a new washer/dryer. We were greeted by Ruchi, who was very helpful and not pushy at all. She answered our questions and also knew when to leave us alone to discuss on our own. They have most of the major brands, LG, Samsung, Electrolux, Whirlpool, etc. She gave us her opinion on which was the most reliable, and steered us towards the LG brand. After my own research, I concurred that is the top rated brand. We walked away much more educated. read more

We recently spent nearly $5,000 on an LG refrigerator, washer, and dryer from Homewise Appliances, and this was easily one of the most disappointing retail experiences we've had. From the beginning, the sales experience was poor. Communication was inconsistent, promises were made that weren't kept, and once the sale was completed, it felt like customer service became an afterthought. Only part of our order was delivered, leaving us without the refrigerator and dryer we paid for. We were told by a manager that a Sunday delivery could be accommodated, only to later find out that wasn't true. As new homeowners trying to get settled into our home, we planned our schedule around those commitments and were left extremely frustrated. What stands out most is the lack of accountability and follow-through. When customers spend nearly $5,000, they should expect honest communication, reliable delivery, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, we received none of those things. Based on our experience, we will not be doing business with Homewise Appliances again, nor will we be referring friends, family, or colleagues. There are too many other appliance retailers that value their customers and stand behind their commitments. We hope management takes customer service, communication, and delivery coordination more seriously in the future because our experience was unacceptable. Living without a fridge and out of a cooler for 4 days with a dog kids and medication that needs to be chilled. Great service. read more

This is actually a really nice setup, nice visuals, hands on, it feels great. The car salesman feeling though is a tough one. I guess it's a fine line from wanting assistance to having someone meet you at the door. However my biggest gripe, Go to buy a microwave, website says in stock, great, go to buy it, they say do I want to drive to Hayward to pick it up? What? Dublin, check, in the store, check, in stock check, yet umm you want to pick it up in Hayward, no I'm in Dublin I want to pick it up here. Well we don't have inventory here, so we can ship it/deliver it to you for $35.00. Wait, I came in to buy a Microwave and now you want an extra $35/$39 (whatever) to deliver it? That left a bad taste in my mouth. I drove down to Dublin to pick up an appliance and yet, it's not really there, they don't actually have inventory and they want an extra taste to get it to you. It's one thing to say, we don't have it, we can get it here tomorrow (car parts places do this all the time). But to finagle an extra taste to actually get the product to me, that sounds sketch. (no, there was no option to pick it up the next day, 2 days from Dublin). They are delivering it within 2 days, so that's not bad, but forcing the customer to pay to get it? Why did I drive down to the store in the first place then, because it said they had it in stock.......! read more

Their prices for the Bosch washer and dryer were very competitive compared to other retailers I checked, and the overall value was excellent. If you are looking for appliances, I would advise you to do your research and pricing. We have been to Airport Appliances in the past and found that there were some changes- like the name and people. It is now Homewise Appliances. The biggest change we found was their employees (much better). We were very fortunate and happy to meet Genevieve R. Although she was alone and helping multiple customers, she was patient, very informative, about the appliances. She showed us terrific options and was genuinely interested in what "look" we wanted. There was a no pressure sale, and she helped us look up every rebate offer that was eligible. Most importantly she gave us the estimated list and her personal contact if we had any questions. We did our homework and with the information Genevieve gave us, her prices and rebates couldn't be BEAT. Genevieve made our purchase quick and effortless. Although it is part of her job- her personality and pleasantness made everything a terrific experience. She followed up with us to make sure that we had all of our questions and concerns answered. She made sure that we didn't have any problems with processing the rebates. Our delivery was also "spot on". We really lucked out finding Genevieve and would highly recommend having her as your Sales Contact. I can't thank her enough and how she really went "Above and Beyond". To the Managers and Above.... I hope you take notice and appreciate what a terrific asset to your company. Genevieve really REPRESENTS! read more

Everything from entering the store to final was great. Fernando was great no pressure just great customer service.

Do not buy from Homewise appliances as they have the worst services and will not honor their warranty commitment. We brought a dishwasher from them and this is where the nightmare began. Long story short, exchanged three times and had to complaint to them and the manufacturer to get things done. Upon attempting to cancel the extended warranty on the first unit that was already exchanged, the second part of our nightmare began and after over a month of emails and phone calls, they still haven't refunded the $189.99. At this point, it's not worth emailing them back and forth and time to submit a small claim case. It's not just about the money and hours of my personal time dealing with this. It's also about how these family businesses don't care about customers and will screw us whenever they can. 6:02pm: look at their idiotic response below, I have already been in contact with numerous people including copying your manager and President. But unfortunately they are too lazy and don't care about customers. read more

One name : Lucinda Tromblay. She is phenomenal. I was a long time customer of Airport Appliance and my last purchase was a Zephyr oven hood in 2023. It broke during Xmas dinner 2025. For almost two months I attempted to get resolution from Zephyr and their recommended repair providers with no success. I finally called Homewise and was extremely fortunate to talk with Lucinda. In no time all, she got hold of the Zephyr district representative and got him involved. Turns out, the original installation company had installed it incorrectly and the now-expired warranty had been voided by their substandard service. (Aside--Lucinda had looked at my photos and immediately voiced concerns about the installation.) Lucinda said, "This is not right!" and got Homewise upper management involved. Within two days, the installation company was at my house to repair and reinstall my hood at no charge. It is now working well. ( Future customer : She does NOT ever set up deliveries/installation with that particular company!) Also, I'm appreciative that Homewise stepped up to help me even though it was Airport Appliance that was ultimately responsible for the substandard installation in 2023.. She invested time and significant effort into me and I wasn't even shopping for a new appliance! Can you imagine the care she would invest in a serious shopper? She personifies old school integrity, resourcefulness, and interest in the customer's needs. Plus, she proved herself to be extremely knowledgeable. I will seek her out the next time I need to replace an appliance and I am completely confident in recommending her to any future shoppers. She's the best! read more

I had an appointment with them and their eta was from 12-4. I had something come up and I tried calling ahead of time to let them they know I would be available after 1:30-2. I've had service through pg&e, at&t and comcast and home depot and have never an experience were they wouldn't work with you. On top of that I called customer service to try and get a hold of the technician team for a heads up within the timeframe THEY gave me. It was out of out of their hands according to customer service. Terrible customer service and follow through. I own 5 properties and have done business with Airport Appliance for 20 plus years. For some reason with the new change of name to Homewise their customer service and delivery system is terrible.
