I like to blend my our soil mix, so I was happy to find this place with a lot of the ingredients I was looking for, such as perlite, charcoal, bark, leca, etc. at very reasonable prices. Besides soil mixes, this shop has the most eclectic collection of items. In the front there are little chicks and turtles. There are some houseplants and a few exotic ones too. There's also a table of crystals, and a shelf of CBD honey. They also have standard gardening supplies, like pots and fertilizers. I really enjoyed walking around and exploring their collection of unique items. They don't have as many plants and varieties of soils that you'd find at a nursery, but I see a lot of potential here. The owner was telling me about his vision to expand their collection of plants. I'm looking forward to coming again and seeing how the place is transformed. read more

I had hobby envy when I saw my friends aquaponic set up. So I asked a bunch of questions and they recommended I come here to get started. I visited the store today with some Chrysanthemum seeds and a tiny pot asking for help on how to plant them. Although I was not sure if I was in the right place. A young, nice, long curly hair, super cool gentleman helped me to plant it and water the soil down right away without asking for a single penny. I've always bought my soil and nutrients from here when they opened. They have the best options in town! But what really impressed me the most about them is how much community work they are involved in. During COVID, not only did they start providing hand sanitizer and other essential items needed at their store, they also were helping sanitizing PPE for first responders. And now during fire season they are also going out and helping folks who have lost a lot due to fires. You don't have to grow weed to support this store! Have a cute garden and love a plants like me? This is what you call customer service! I've shopped here several times and everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. Tyler and Michael know their stuff. Shopping here is comparable to shopping at Nordstroms for clothes. High end materials at reasonable costs (yes, I compared. Prices competitive with what is found on the internet). Not all fertilizers, soil, etc. are the same. When you shop at the large hardware stores, there isn't a large selection, more of the "one size fits all" mentality. Depending on what you are growing and the climate, the product changes and these guys are excellent in their recommendations. Just some info for operation during covid: you can't go in the store which is unfortunate. They have a table in the doorway where they interact with customers. So I am brand spankin' new to hydroponics/aquaponics. Everything I know, I know from watching Youtube. Yeah, I know, I'm a noob. I came in here for only clay pellets but they were so helpful and went above and beyond to help me with getting my feet wet that i went ahead and purchased $34 worth of stuff to get a better setup. I know that probably isn't much at all but I got a great deal on most of it as it was used! Honestly, I didn't know that the concept even existed in this space. I love it because this will afford me the ability to experiment and learn along the way without breaking the bank. Plus it's great to know that these items can be repurposed and kept out of the landfills at least for now. Anyway, I seriously love this place and will be back for sure. I had placed an order from an online company and miss ordered. One piece didn't go with ALL the other item sizes. Simple miss click. SMH. That order took 6 weeks for an item they said was in stock. The Lucky Garden rescued my summer grow. Thank you. Not only did they rescue my grow but they ordered the (2) $100 items without paying up front. She was Willing to match and beat Any price I threw at her in order to earn my business. I thought for sure this is my new place to come.. Well today I went in and a young guy with long curly hair definitely ruined it for them. I asked for a price on some bulbs that I wanted to purchase again and now the price was higher. I stated I only paid $35 and he told me no.. He made no attempt to ask me for a previous receipt or look them up. He didnt even ask what else I may be looking for. I left the store..
