I've specifically been wanting to plant them before winter so they have time to establish their roots and hopefully thrive next summer. They had quite a few to choose from, and all of the plants looked really healthy. The guy at the front was also super nice and helpful. He helped me carry and load all of the plants into my car, which I really appreciated. The prices were reasonable and seemed pretty on par with what hydrangeas are going for around the Bay Area. I managed to push the cart to the pay counter, went to the wrong side, the clerk didn't even step out of her room to help me re-route to the right payment side though seeing me with a full cart. And mind you, I am a very petite Asian. She then claimed DV rose pots were not on sale and that I didn't talk to the right Rose specialist! I demanded for them to honor the price because I drove a while to get there. She finally agreed after confirming with her "Rose Specialist". Perhaps she was not aware her attitude was NOT friendly/helpful ... when she was in a front position representing the Nursery. She only thanked me and got better after I paid almost $400. The man who helped me pushed the cart to my car however was humble and nice. I appreciated him. Overall I didn't like to be ignored and my experience there was not pleasant this time. Unlike at other Nurseries, everyone who saw me picked up anything heavy, they came right away to offer help.
