The owner "Mike" ( I heard two other employees refer to him by name) parked a forklift behind the ladies car to prevent her from leaving. Two other people were translating for her offering her insurance information. But mike kept making horrible remarks to them. " why are you here in the middle of the day. Are you unemployed" " just give me cash and I'll let you go" " why are you wearing a California sweater? To remind you where you are?" I mean this guy was so childish. I walked in with a friend and was greeted by Dominic who immediately showed me where to find what I was looking for. I told him I didn't want to spend a lot and he took that into account and showed me what was cheap and did not pressure me at all. He was friendly and helpful, and really took my visit from "good" to "great." It's just attentive customer service that keeps people coming back. Dominic is spot on and even loaded my purchases into my car. I'm glad I decided to skip Home Depot that day on a whim, and I don't think I'll ever go there for my garden again as long as I can continue to visit here. The location is slightly off the highway but on a very busy street. There's only street parking available so if you're in need for anything heavy - I'd suggest parking as close the store as possible. I was thrilled to see a lot of the things that I needed was in store so I had to figure out what was priority on my shopping list since some of the reagents were originally pricey. The gentlemen that helped me didn't say much but was able to suggest a few options that were similar to what I needed but I politely declined and got the items that was within my daily budget. One thing that I was worried about was getting persuaded into purchasing something that was way overpriced and something that I didn't need but I never felt that here. The service was straight forward and I was in and out within fifteen minutes.
