I'M A FAN! Like no, really, I am a BIG FAN! My addiction to plants during this pandemic has been REAL! I mean, I don't know how, but I seem to find myself leaving my house and headed to a plant store. My partner came home a few weeks ago boosting and bragging about a spot that was "better to purchase plant products" than where I usually go to. He drove me there the other day and I must admit, I was SOLD! Located right off the freeway, Hydroponics is a hidden location, baby, but I love it! There is a parking lot available which does not fill up quickly so that is a plus. When I walked into the store, I felt welcomed and received a warm "hello" from Bre and B. Bre did a phenomenal job in assisting me and I enjoyed speaking to her about plants and how to care for them. She was so knowledgeable about the products that would help my plants grow and even recommended solutions to use. I was so appreciative of how helpful she was. I was zoned in on our conversation and could have talked to her for hours! I was coming in to look for planting pots as they are SO cheap here and left with so much more. I found nice-sized deep planting pots for as little as $2 and left with more items to protect my plants. My new project is a vegetable plant bed in my backyard, and I am excited to come back here and talk to Bre about the right items I need to plant my vegetables. I recommend this store for all your plant items! They have a wonderful selection of items and a passion for taking care of plants. Hurry and check them out before the word gets out about this store. In the meantime, I will work on keeping this my little secret so I can continue to reap the benefits of this store being so close to my house! read more

I've been going to this store to years, it's my go-to place every year for soil. In the past year, their inventory has expanded to include a ton of different microbe and nutrient options which is awesome. If you're an organic or synthetic grower, you can find what you need at this store. This store has the best soil selection in the East Bay Area that I've found. They also make their own compost tea during the summer, which is nice! read more

worst customer service I had experienced in a long time!. Yesterday I bought bio live just to realize when I got home that the box has been marked as expired. I thought no big deal it happens I'll make a 20 minute drive the next day to correct it and get a different box. I show up with the expired box in hand. waited for 5 minutes because the cashier was having a casual conversation after the client he helped was done paying.. I told him about the expired product he told me that the product should be good for another five years and to ignore the manufacturing label. I said I would like to replace it. After that, some big guy I don't know if it was the owner comes up to him and said that all of the boxes are marked as expired and it must be a manufacturers error and that he's going to continue selling the product . he could issue me a refund. Never acknowledging the fact that I'm standing right there or apologizing for the inconvenience. Instead made it seems like it was my fault that I noticed the box was expired. I'll never go back there again. Nor will my friend. You could find us at Sun Life farming. read more

The people who work here are amazing! They're friendly and approachable and they know they're stuff! Super knowledgeable and have helped me with my garden every time I've come in. Overvharged. Watch your reciept and make sure everything is in order before leaving. A bag of soil was supposed to be $16, i was charged $26. My receipt says writer: TRD. i don't know if that's the employee who overcharged or what. Going to start buying from Amazon, screw people being greedy. read more
