Also I have their rewards app so I was able to use a $10 coupon off over $50 spending. Without the coupon, their regular retail price $8.99 is a bit more costly than Home Depot $6.73 per pack (bulk price -6packs or more or $7.48 regular price) but with the coupon it offsets the large price gap. I am paying about $4 more than Home Depot but I think about the time I save for check out and I won't need to do the heavy lifting all by myself. Their service speed really helps when you know you can make a quick stop to get things done in a short amount of time. I hope ACE can think about offering bulk pricing on sale pellets in the future so their price is more comparable to Home Depot. I also noticed that they now got pies by the entrance! I know where to get some pies the next time I crave for it.

She is fast talking, curt, annoyed when you ask questions she can't answer, and was quick to pull out a color and say, "Use this one" without ever asking any pertinent questions. Really, it matters if you have a southern facing room or a northern facing room...paint represents differently in different rooms. She clearly knew none of this and was annoyed that I asked the RGB of their Swiss Coffee..she continued to insist that whites don't have undertones. When she finally asked the man at the front desk for the RGB, she rolled her eyes and threw her hand up like she was in disbelief I would ask that question. In reality, any color consultant should know that RGB is the red, green, and blue that is used to make a color, and helps to decipher a paint's undertones. Honestly, if she didn't know I wouldn't have cared, but she was hostile and curt, and seemed like someone in a rush; someone I would expect to be on commission in a shopping mall. I did call the manager and he was very apologetic and professional. However, I've decided not to go back, as there are many paint stores in the Bay Area where color consultants are welcoming, engaging, and don't act hostile toward the customers.

I looked at the expiration date and it expired over 30 days ago. Does this stores usually sell expired food? Is that even legal? I threw it in the trash right away. Besides soil mixes, this shop has the most eclectic collection of items. In the front there are little chicks and turtles. There are some houseplants and a few exotic ones too. There's also a table of crystals, and a shelf of CBD honey. They also have standard gardening supplies, like pots and fertilizers. I really enjoyed walking around and exploring their collection of unique items. They don't have as many plants and varieties of soils that you'd find at a nursery, but I see a lot of potential here. The owner was telling me about his vision to expand their collection of plants. I'm looking forward to coming again and seeing how the place is transformed.
